5:00 pm
larry: message to republicans. keep your foot on the accelerator, please. get the trump tax cuts asap. stop the biden slumps. stop the bidenflation. give trump's growth plan a chance, and give elizabeth
5:01 pm
macdonald all the chances in the world. there she is. liz: you're darn tooting, larry. we've got a hot show. that was an exciting show i'm out of breath watching it larry thank you so much welcome to the "evening edit" i'm elizabeth macdonald. >> 65% of the budget should be cut. what would that mean pract practically? >> well it would mean that the agency would sincerely be handcuffed. liz: okay that's biden's epa head claiming doge and trump are the end of civilization, but she's not talking how the trump team found literally billions of your tax dollars, wasted on biden's climate slush funds and now she's begging doge and elon musk don't dig in. tonight trump epa chief lee zeldin is here on what he is finding and major corruption that happened under biden and the epa. also tonight, this. >> mr. musk has just been here 22 years, and he's a citizen of three countries. i always ask myself
5:02 pm
the question, with the damage he's doing here, when push comes to shove, which country is he loyal to? >> he can take a nap and let this foreign agent, you know, an enemy of the united states, do his job. liz: whoa now democrats reveal their anti-trump anti-elon musk playbook that they are anti-immigrant. attacking elon musk for being a foreigner? seriously? coming up, charlie hurt will take it on, plus what we found doge. they just uncovered massive abuses and biden's border spending we've got more on that and also the update on u.s. attorney general pam bondi releasing phase i of the jeffrey epstein files. we've got the details, this story is rocking d.c. plus, trump's nominee to be ambassador to israel, look whose here. former governor mike huckabee we're excited to talk to the governor. he's going to take on biden's slush fund spending in ukraine. that had nothing zero, to do with humanitarian aid.
5:03 pm
also, this news tonight. >> i co-chaired, countered china in our agency group, oversaw containment of two ebola outbreaks and led the bureau for humanitarian assistance, but usaid's obsession with identity politics, gender fluidity, population control, and climate undermine these goals. liz: this is what the media is not covering, a former top usaid official, also a middle east expert testifies that just a generation after 9/11, biden's usaid end up sending literally tens of millions of your dollars to terrorists in the middle east. why? the biden white house stopped the vetting for that. why do they do that? former u.s. army special forces jim hanson will take it on but first, this story. >> the democrat-run usaid should not get to use our
5:04 pm
federal government. our u.s. taxpayer dollars, as their party piggy bank to push the radical agenda in countries that we have no business giving money to. maybe we should consider investigating whether usaid funding has made it back to democrat campaigns. has it affected elections? >> we are fighting for you. we are in the courts. we are in congress. we are in our communities and we will hold this administration accountable, and we will not abandon our allies or our humanity. so with that, i say to all of you, be strong. we will fight back. >> [applause] >> i now recognize myself for closing remarks. i now recognize myself for closing remarks and threats against the president of the united states will not be tolerated by anyone. liz: that was congresswoman marjorie taylor greene. the chair of the house oversight
5:05 pm
subcommittee on doge, firing it up. they are saying republicans are saying they are not abandoning any humanitarian aid. they are just stopping waste and fraud. now, the congresswoman is saying she's going to make criminal referrals over what they are finding. the trump team is reportedly also cutting $60 billion in waste and abuse in u.s. foreign aid. again nothing to do with humanitarian help. chief justice roberts temporarily blocked the judge appointed by joe biden trying to force the trump white house to pay $2 billion of foreign aid. joining us epa administrator lee zeldin. administrator, it's wonderful to see you again. we appreciate you coming on. what's your take on this shocking amount of waste in the government? let's show the details what they are finding that doge is finding what happened in foreign aid. what are you finding at the epa? we've reported on the $20 billion you found in biden's climate funds, slush funds parked at citibank. what more do we know?
5:06 pm
>> well, with regards to the $20 billion that were parked towards the end of the biden administration at this outside bank, they created an arrangement that tied epa's hands behind its back between the financial aid agreement with treasury, whether it was the account control agreement with the epa, and all $20 billion were heading to just eight primary recipients so these ngo's in one case, stacey abrams that was brand new, received $100 in 2023, received $2 billion in 2024. another ngo that had an employee leave to become the director of this drone house gas reduction fund ended up throwing $5 billion to their former employer. we're finding a lot of self-dealing conflicts of interest. we're seeing that people were unprepared to spend these sums of money, and just to give you one specific example of
5:07 pm
highlighting just how unprepared they were. in reading through the grant agreements, it gives them 90 days to take a training called "how to develop a budget. if they don't know how to develop a budget yet why are they getting all this money? it was 20 billion that were all pass-throughs giving to other entities many of them pass-throughs as well and reduced oversight as that money was getting down to the final grantee. i have a problem with all of it and every time we overturn a new rock we find more trouble. liz: sir, here is the problem americans are having. the infrastructure that biden did build for climate spending and for border spending was any of that money ending up in campaign donations to keep democrats in power? >> well, i mean, listen. there were entities that this funding was going to, we're people who were part of leading that entity were also democratic donors. that for certain, but what we're
5:08 pm
seeing, to this point, is that the money that they secured was, it was part of this message of fighting environmental justice, maybe an argument that some communities left behind, they have an environmental issue that we need to deal with which is something that you could make an argument in a way all of us would agree with, but in the name of environmental justice, they want to send tens of millions of dollars to left wing advocacy groups. for example, i canceled a $50 million grant to the climate justice alliance. climate justice alliance, they say that climate justice goes through gaza. it goes through a free pal it's even. that's not the way americans want their tax dollars, working with doge, i canceled about 30 grants, totaling $120 million on top of everything else that we discussed, and also, i would add the media subscriptions have been pretty wild. i canceled over $1 million worth of media subscriptions to less than a handful of outlets.
5:09 pm
that's also been a big source of waste too. liz: it's interesting. now, you are working to cut epa spending by about two-thirds because you're finding waste. let's please get your reaction to what biden's epa chief, gina mccarthy has said. please watch this. >> 65% of the budget should be cut. what would that mean pract practically? >> well, it would mean that the agency would sincerely be handcuffed. the agency itself right now is staffed by very capable people. we don't want to lose that staff, but honestly, this is all about how we protect our health and our safety. how we protect our natural resources. >> if were to speak with administrator zeldin, where should he focus those efforts to make things more efficient. >> reach out. sit down with the program staff at epa. look at opportunities to down scale. where those efforts are not as important as others. i'm not suggesting that epa is
5:10 pm
perfect. every step of the way, that's what epa does to save as much money as they can, but to get the job done well, in quickly, and safely. liz: response to what gina mccarthy said today. she's kind of admitting there are problems. >> right. so basically we should keep doing what we're doing. so, epa received tens of billions of dollars in 2024. i want to spend tens of billions of less dollars in 2025. my message to congress is don't even send us all of those tens of billions of extra dollars. i internally want to make sure we're finding efficiencies as it relates to our travel, real estate footprint, grants, contracts, and we're also going to be saving money with regards to staff. we had hundreds of people take president trump's fork in the road, voluntary early retirement, there were probationary employees terminated as well.
5:11 pm
others resigned, retired. we're going to continue pursuing those efficiencies. liz: lee zeldin, thank you for joining us. appreciate you. now listen to this , please. >> mr. musk has just been here 22 years, and he's a citizen of three countries. i always ask myself the question with the damage he's doing here, when push comes to shove, which country is he loyal to, south africa? canada? or the united states? and he's only been a citizen, i'll say again, 22 years. >> he allegedly overstayed that visa. >> this is just perfectly wonderful for trump. he can take a nap and let this foreigner, foreign agent, you know, an enemy of the united states do his job. liz: really? that's the democrats new plan? to go up against elon musk, doge, and president trump? you just heard democrat representative, the view joy
5:12 pm
behar attacking elon musk for being an immigrant. we've got the perfect guest a very smart, brilliant columnist and author, and he's one of our favorites let's welcome fox & friends weekend co-host charlie hurt. charlie, what do you make of that? >> that's insane. i mean, the idea the democrat's new strategy is to go after immigrants and accuse them of being foreign agents? are you kidding me? this is bonkers. if a republican had done this , talking about somebody else, somebody on their side, they would have lost their freaking minds, but you know, if that's their strategy, have fun with it. i don't think it's going to work out well for them, but i do think that it sort of underscores the complete lack of strategy they have for dealing with any of the things that the trump administration is dealing with right now because the trump administration is actually going around. there might be some sort of uncomfortable parts of it and might be pain involved, but they are addressing real problems
5:13 pm
that people care about. liz: let's talk about that. >> addressing them with serious solutions. liz: let's talk about what the view and democrats refuse to talk about, that doge is finding massive corruption, taxpayer abuse. look at this. a non-profit called family endeavors got a huge $18 million a month in taxpayer money, just to run an empty building in texas for illegal aliens. the biden white house gave that non-profit a mass massive $530 million and a contract just months after a top biden aid joined that ngo , charlie and the top executives there, that make at least 500,000 or $600,000 a year. >> you know, liz, i think that it's important for people to remember that one of the most important montras of the democrat party is you never let a crisis go to waste, and what that means for democrats is if you have a crisis, they can take more of your money and give it to their friends.
5:14 pm
that's how they view a crisis, and your wonderful interview a second ago with lee zeldin underscores that with the environment. that's why they love climate. the climate emergency because it's a crisis that they won't let go to waste. they can take all of your money and give it to all of their friends. what we're finding out now is that the illegal immigration, the invasion of the border crisis that joe biden invited into our country, was another one of these crisis in which they use that as a pre-text to take more of your money and give it to their friends. liz: and you wonder if it's ended up in democrat donations to keep them in power. charlie hurt, you're terrific thank you so much. >> you know that it did. liz: we're staying on the story. we've got breaking news, another win for president trump on his tariffs. fox news reporting mexico has begun the process of extraditing to the u.s. more than two dozen high-level cartel leaders and members back to america.
5:15 pm
this includes the leader of the guatemala cartel who was involved in the kidnapping and murder of dea agent in 1985, as well as the founders of los zetas, the extraditions were done as trump's tariff deadline looms and trump demanded the crackdown that mexico crackdown on this and now, they are doing it. breaking news there. now to this story. >> it's going to be litigated. i'll pause whenever you want and you can go and yell all you want but i can't understand 10 people let alone 100 people at once. liz: okay, this story. the media claims there suddenly is spontaneous grassroots revolt against president trump and doge and elon musk. speaker mike johnson says wait a second. it's actually orchestrated and paid for by far left groups. joe concha is going to react and take it on, plus as democrats tout the so-called doge rebellion across america,
5:16 pm
one big blue city is going doge and embracing doge. we've got the details. also this story tonight. >> i think what we saw was usaid weaponized by the biden administration and by attacking any party that was conservative. it just didn't happen in brazil at all so happened for instance very pro-america in hungary as well. liz: it's a big deal. that is a former top usaid official. the former acting chief operating officer revealing that usaid officials under biden attacked republicans overseas funded by your money. we've got more details on usaid under biden spent at least 122 million bucks that ended up falling into the hands of terrorists in the middle east, just a generation after 9/11. former u.s. army special forces jim hanson will take it on but first this story. >> is anybody unhappy
5:17 pm
with elon? if you are well throw them out of here. >> [laughter] >> is anybody unhappy? >> [applause] >> i have a lot of respect for elon and that he's doing this and some disagree a little bit but i will tell you for the most part i think everyone's not only happy they are thrilled. liz: thrilled with elon musk. doge is finding 150,000 of your money, went to a women's retail company in ukraine. why? 120,000 went to a fashion photographer. 300,000 to ukraine retailer who makes dog collars? that's not humanitarian stuff. governor mike huckabee, the nominee to be ambassador to israel, he's going to react to what's now being called biden's ukraine slush fund spending, also breaking details on u.s. attorney general pam bondi just releasing phase i of the epstein files coming up. we've got the details. please stick with us we're back in two. >> a lot of flight logs, a lot of names and information, but

financeeer and sex offender jeffrey epstein. let's get to the news fox news griff jenkins is standing by live in d.c. with the latest. griff? reporter: liz, good evening, and doge sources tell fox that this phase i epstein documents will be released publicly sometime today, approved attorney general pam bondi. they are largely been seen before today, liz, but they are intended to be a show of transparency and the justice department has just released a letter from bondi to fbi director kash patel claiming the fbi's new york field office has been withholding thousands of page of document related to the epstein investigation. now this as some members of congress are up in arms. congresswoman who heads up the house oversight committee's task force on secret document releases posted to x saying this. i, nor the task force, were given the epstein documents being released today. this is not what we or the american people asked for ,
5:24 pm
in a complete disappointment. earlier today our white house stakeout camera capturing what appears to be conservative influencers exiting the west wing holding up binders that read "epstein files" and it follows bondi telling fox news there are more than 250 victims whose identities must be protected. >> what you're going to see hopefully tomorrow is a lot of flight logs, a lot of names, a lot of information, but it's pretty sick what that man did. reporter: you'll recall, liz, last month president trump signed an executive order directing agencies to release secret documents pertaining to epstein as well as jfk and mlk so we wait to see what drops publicly will go through as doj sources say another should come in a matter of weeks. liz: congresswoman luna was
5:25 pm
talking about jeffrey epstein's phone book. reporter: it seems based on following the reporting of these conservative influencers who are posting on social media, liz, that this is largely a combination of flight logs and a rolodex of people that epstein knew without any real context, but again, much of this has already been out there publicly, going all the way back to january of last year, when it was released by a judge in a defamation lawsuit against maxwell. liz: this is rocking d.c. thank you, griff jenkins. now to this. the trump white house is pulling back $60 billion of taxpayer funded foreign aid, that the biden state department and usaid was spending, they say that this was not headed for humanitarian or charitable aid. it was a lot of waste, fraud and corrupt abuse of u.s. taxpayers. for more we're excited and honored to welcome back to the show former arkansas governor president trump's nominee

ambassador to israel, governor mike huckabee. great to see you. what do you make of this? because we hear democrats say that this is the end of civilization, but it's not humanitarian aid that is getting cut, right? it's about funding for a left wing ideology and even anti-israel groups linked to terrorism. >> it's that and it's more. a lot of it is just disgusting. i've been going through this , this afternoon. some of it is broken down into four categories. fashion. we spent hundreds of thousands of dollars sending people in ukraine to fashion shows in the u.s. i don't know what that has to do with humanitarian efforts. in addition to fashion, we did food. 25 $5,000, to study organic tea and purchase it. $144,000 for pickles in ukraine, and then, there was also furniture. $119,000 on furniture display,
5:27 pm
so to make sure while in ukraine while they are fighting for their lives supposedly, we update their furniture needs and finally, fido, yes, $300,000 of american taxpayer money not to help ukraine and their war effort, but to purchase and manufacture dog collars. so, fashion, food, fido, and furniture. that's where a lot of american taxpayer money has gone in ukraine. it's disgusting, liz, and i don't understand why democrats want to defend this. liz: governor, that's the thing. why are they planting a flag on this? they are getting democrats and viewers all trying to rile him up that trump is the end of civilization and destroying america. this is just garden variety corruption and abuse of taxpayers that have been going on, its been going on for generations keeping everybody's taxes high and that u.s. debt spiraling out of control. i mean, this isn't just, you know, like trump's a dictator.
5:28 pm
no. he's just trying to stop abuse of taxpayers, full stop. >> you know, i think that maybe it's a good thing tomorrow when a lot of hard working americans get their weekend paycheck that they take a look at it and ask, how much of this would i like to see go to ukraine so that we can buy dog collars and organic tea. we need to ask samantha power who run usaid just what the heck were you thinking with this slush fund that usaid was, where there's good programs? of course there were, but we should have separated the good from the bad. what we ended up with was a stu pot full of poison and somehow we justified there's good ingredients. well clean the sucker out and scrub it good and let's start over. that's what president trump wants to do and i for one say thank god somebody's looking at the way american money has been spent. liz: yeah, finally. governor mike huckabee thank you so much for joining us and being with us tonight. good to see you. now please listen to this.

u.s. attorney general pam bondi and the justice department is moving to toss out the lawsuits the biden white house brought against police and fire departments across the country. it was about pushing dei, diversity, equity, and inclusion, and a.g. bondi says the priority should be public safety. let's get to fox news david spunt standing by live at the justice department for more on this. david this looks like quite a battle. >> well, liz, the attorney general says quite plainly that people should be able to be police officers, or firefighters, and the status of their gender, or their race, should have nothing to do with that at all. she says it should all be about merit, not diversity, equity, or inclusion. yesterday, she made the announcement that she's reaching out specifically to the civil rights division, here at the department of justice to make sure that they nix consent decrees, agreements with four different states, with police and fire departments in north carolina, in maryland, indiana, and georgia.
5:37 pm
the agreements began as lawsuits against police and fire departments by the previous doj. the targeted fire and police departments and she added firefighters and mores should be chosen for their skill and not make dei quotas. cities were coerced into conducting hiring. the attorney general' chief of staff shared an article about the fires that plagued l.a. last month writing if there's anything we learned from recent events is that america is not safe when it's firefighters and police officers and first responders are selected based on dei instead of skill. now this action all stems from president trump's executive order that he signed getting rid of dei-related programs in the federal government when he first took office. she signed something similar after she came to the justice department. liz? liz: really interesting reporting. thank you so much, david spunt. we appreciate you. now, please listen to this. >> no i don't because the videos you saw of the town
