projects that he shared. passionate interest in it. i can't figure it out. that's why i am hoping in the massive negative reaction to this ruling, i'm hoping he will go back to the assurances he gave me. we can't have government bureaucracy invading the privacy and the independent pep dense of autonomy and integrity that the constitution gives to religion. >> kimberly: andrea, the catholic church at war with the obama administration. >> andrea: they are. a terrible place for the administration to be. battling the highest level of the cat lick church or any religious institution. remember in november, he sat down, dolan sat down with the president and the president gave him his word he would work with the catholic church and work together on charities. we know a lot of charities if they decide to defy the mandate, they will have to pay for example, the catholic charities that employee 70,000 employees.

op-ed and now they're trying to back track. quickly, i know you want to jump in. john kerry today said i think the democrats have to back off of this issue. that is a big one, wanting to renegotiate. >> andrea: throw sebelius under the bus is my prediction. >> kimberly: biden promised to work the issue out. seeking the president with a different advice. it doesn't seem it's repeated. now he may listen to biden. can biden save the day? >> bob: first, let's put it perspective. archbishop dolan the catholic church is exempt from the rules. it is church-related organizations we're talking about. i want to make it clear. this is not a war on the church. you may call it a work on church-related organizations. the question is if dolan saying this constitution, it seems to me that the way to handle this is the administration is not going to

issue. >> greg: it's coercion. about coercion. >> eric: no one is denying women's right to access birth control pills, sterilization. >> kimberly: objecting to the penalty. >> eric: the objection is the mandate that the government is saying if you are a catholic who believes this shouldn't be even around -- >> bob: why wouldn't it lead even else to do it too? >> kimberly: last night on hannity, you were on the great american panel with green. this got heated, the issue about this. you have went back and forth on it. he is said in the commercial break to me that i wouldn't be sitting in this chair, meaning the chair here on tv, if it wasn't for birth control. she opened it up on the show and said all women wouldn't be sitting here. i'll show how ignant that -- ignorant that is. the fact my mom chose not to be on birth control is the reason i'm here and hard work and persistence. feminists wouldn't understand that. that summed up the liberalism, they know me and know my life.

♪ ♪ ♪ ♪ ♪ ♪ >> andrea: having a good time at "the five." cpac started today in washington, d.c. this is where the candidate goes and conservatives gather to make their pleas and state their matt forms in the conservative wing of the republican party. so, tomorrow, mitt romney speaks. a lot of people say he has problems with conservatives and some of the numbers and some of the early primary states bear that out.

so, eric, tomorrow he is going to speak. is there any chance -- he won in 2008. he won the cpac straw poll. >> eric: he was going to be the conservative answer to john mccain in 2008. now he has to go there and figure out how to become more con seventive. he is going to go up against newt and santorum. they will speak. i don't know what he will say. he will try to make people think he is more conservative than he has been in the past. the most important thing when the straw poll comes out saturday afternoon, the next speaker is -- sarah palin. i want to see how he is responds, reacts to whoever wins the straw poll. if it's romney who wins it and he is jumps on board there, that will go a long way. >> andrea: very interesting. now bob, you actually have been to cpac before. >> bob: i have. >> eric: they let you in? were you occupying? >> bob: i walked in the

as somebody else, guy from wisconsin said, we need somebody who will carry a visionary message forward about conservative principles. the problem with romney is you can't make chicken salad out of chicken stuff. he is not a con seventive. that is the problem. >> greg: i don't think that is the problem. the problem is he seems like an actor playing a con seventive. it doesn't help he looks like, he is like gary cooper playing ronald reagan. i don't think it's a bad thing. i think he probably -- >> eric: that is an interesting point. >> greg: thank you for playing. >> eric: remember him saying get close to the right thing as possible? how many times do you think ronald reagan's name will be uttered this weekend? >> andrea: rick santorum in 2008 was not in the straw poll. he is polling well with conservatives. conservatives are propelling him to the wins. how do you think he will do

and what do you think he will say? >> kimberly: it's advantage santorum. he has a late-breaking momentum going to cpac. this is his audience. they are lukewarm. there isn't a lot of enthusiasm for romney because they don't know if they can really trust him. he doesn't have a strong conservative record to back him up that i felt are uncertain about him. it's been anybody other than romney. hate to say it. we have seen rise and fall of people. santorum is a conservative candidate. he will go in there and do well. romney has to say something memorable. name something memorable he has said or done so far. freddie there is a hypocrisy with santorum. he hated the bitter feuding that went on between the candidates and now he is launching an all-out assault on mitt romney. like a guy on the sideline bemoaning cheap shots and fist thing he does on the field is punch somebody in the groin. >> eric: very quickly, i have been listening to the guy running cpac. as conservative as you can

possibly be. really. >> andrea: you are? >> eric: i heard him on interviews lately talking about romney. a little pro-romney. it's kind of surprising. so maybe they are looking to make -- >> kimberly: they want to beat obama. >> bob: what happened with the mccain thing. mccain, some of the leadership of the organization got together and said let's not -- the republican party is disheveled here. get together with john mccain. it didn't work. you can usually wire these things up. they're true believers. they won't take a pitch like let's go ahead with romney to keep things calm down here and let the republican party go. >> andrea: they would have broke for romney long time ago. >> kimberly: i agree. unless he pulls a lady daga and tapes red meat to his head and his body. i'm for you, baby. >> greg: rick perry spoke and did not once mention his endorsement of newt gingrich. he is like a new england patriot fan in new york city.

consistent pattern now of doing that. >> andrea: before the studies came out on the show i said i think the election strategy this time around this white house is they are rolling the dice and they are going to put forth policies to ensure that more people in the united states are getting a check from the government than not. we saw just last month, the "wall street journal" said more u.s. households are getting some kind of government assistance than not. this is a conscious strategy by the democrats. more people they get on their side like in greece, whatever party was in power is how they get the votes. that's how they keep the po power. >> eric: i'm absurding all of this information. >> bob: first, this is a conservative think tank. pretty reasonable place. good thinkers there. in this one, they mayed the typical partisan election year game. they say 70% of the budget of the united states is dependency. that is probably right. social security, medicare,

medicaid, rest of it. then they say in the same paragraph or two, of course, 50% of the people don't pay any federal taxes. the assumption would be therefore that those people are taking and not receiving. or receiving not taking or both. they're receiving -- you get my point. and the hair tage foundation said those people do pay for the very same dependency programs because they payton roll taxes. when they do that, they are, in fact, paying for dependency. if you were eric who paid off the mortgage, but say you are a "wall street journal" guy. investment guy. you have a house in the hamptons and a house in manhattan. you get write off half the interest, which the government does and 50% tax bracket. if you have $1 million in interest, half a million -- can we please go to the scale here? half a million dollars is you or on the dole. can we have the scale, please? half a million dollars you're on the dole for the federal government. for you rich people,

and then he is going to go home, pick up his wife. get dressed. take her to red lobster. after, that they'll go bowling. >> bob: can i suggest his wife pick up a 12-gauge shotgun on the way back home? i guess this is serious, but have you heard a ruling like this before? >> kimberly: in the olden days judges used to do this type of thing. that's how you settle it. now people are aware of the seriousness of domestic violence and abuse that occurs to women. this is inappropriate. the guy is out of line. first, he hit her. that is not good. second, i don't like red lobster. did it on a date and didn't work. >> andrea: you wore flats. didn't work out. >> kimberly: it was a one-timer. i tried to go in our shoes. bowling -- they told me you can't bowl in that. it's a liability issue and you have to wear used elf shoes. >> bob: you have taken this

a grand who throws a football or a frisbee at the beach. the 37-page ordinance tells police how to deal with anyone who might catch, toss, throw, kick, or roll a football or frisbee between memorial and labor day. it's about time. according to the gutfeld bureau of safety and health, or gbsh, 20 people die from frisbee related causes every hour. worse, if you miss frisbees with alcohol, things get worse. take a look at this grisly video! just moments earlier, some young adults were playing frisbee golf enjoying a simple wine cooler. now they're dead. anyway, something tells me occupy wall street folks cause millions of dollars in damages at the los angeles city hall, playing frisbee, civil servants would applaud.
