time. >> the court ordered zimmerman no contact with trayvon's parents. he is concerned about zimmerman's safety. >> we have several options where it will be one of those is out of state. i want to make sure wherever they place them he is secure. there's a lot of welled up emotions they don't want them flowing over on to george until all of the facts are known. >> defense attorney talking to geraldo rivera. he concluded with this interview the horrible tragedy to go through -- horrible tragedy for any one to go through for zimmerman as well as the family. the best thing he heard is the martins who faced in the judicial system and will go through the process to find out what happened on that horrible night. back to you.

april and we are dealing with the snow once again across parts of west virginia, western parts of pennsylvania and we are talking about this in a moment. we are talking about satellite radio as we head out the door. the worst of it is over for new york city but you still need your umbrella because you are going to get hit or miss showers gusting winds 30, 40 miles per hour. especially on the coast. it will soon be moving out of your city as we move into later on this afternoon and this evening. southern parts will be dealing with the rain most of the day. on the backside of the storm system the snow already coming down and it will be a messy monday morning commute for you across the city of buffalo and syracuse into pittsburgh and also parts of west virginia. we are talking about significant snowfall accumulations. as we get no the highest elevations a foot or more of

snow. not the areas shaded in pink they are shaded in white. the city of pittsburgh lesser amounts of snow 2-4 inches. again that area of pink lesser amoun more but more as you get to the heavier snow bands. maine 2-3 inches of rainfall expected gusty winds out there. it will be a mess. we have flood watches out for these areas from southern maine down into parts of up state new york, new york city. your flood watch has expired. we have picked up significant rainfall accumulation 2-3 inches of rain around the tri-state area. we are in a drought across the northeast. we need the moisture it is welcoming even though it messed up our weekend. boston, new york city expect to see delay throughs the morning hours. should get better later on.

we are going to do what is necessary to replace the president who understands the economy will get it working again for the american people. it is not often i agree with axle rod. i agree with something he agreed on. we have to get off the road we are on and take a new direction. that's exactly right. i agree with that. he was talking about the economy. so i began thinking about the road we are on. how different it is than the road i would take if i were so fortunate as to become presidented. then the road we are on has a president spend about a trillion dollars more than we have been. taking us on a course and become like greece. in my view the words he spoke when he was a senator when he said about the deficits at that

>> he is not the only one. we have congressman brett miller and elizabeth warren from the state of massachusetts running against scott brown saying she wants part of this thing repealed. he is in a tough spot. >> he is. republicans have done an effective shameful job laufrping us here. >> 56 percent of americans want this repealed. how do you get that back? they said right out of the gate republicans said they want to use healthcare reform to break president obama. >> it is the result of a sneer campaign? >> it will be $1.8 trillion. that is much more than obama gave us in 2010. they are realizing hey i don't think we can afford this. instead we should be focusing on policies that give us economic

growth. >> keystone pipeline they voted for the pipeline the senate is a few votes away from over coming a filibuster. do you think the president will veto this in election year? >> the president has approved part of the pipeline. the point about the president not focusing on the economy it is an unfair untrue point. he has a small business lending bill, middle class tax cut, payroll tax cut. before we start lifting things off let me give you the last word. keystone pipeline, where do you see this going next year? >> he not approves the northern keystone pipeline. he has no authority. he has no authority to approve it. it doesn't matter if he approves it or not. it will still get done. these are not international borders. it's the northern part of the keystone pipeline which is important. >> michelle fields and also tara

while you were sleeping the man who shot and killed trayvon martin was released from jail. this happened about midnight eastern time. cameras catching george zimmerman as he walked out of the county jail after he posted bond. the 28-year-old is now at an undisclosed location. he was charged with second degree murder in the death of trayvon martin. he says he shot the 17-year-old in self defense. we are joined by former prosecutor faith jenkins. good morning. anything about this surprise you? >> no. in florida typically for second degree murder cases you are looking at a bond set between 50,000 and $200,000. this case wasn't any different. the judge just went by the laup. in order to get no bond at all the state has to prove the evidence is overwhelming in order to keep them in jail. they simply argued he was a danger to the community. the judge said no. he didn't have a prior order.

>> they took away his passport saying no guns. that is all that is standard. >> i think so. he has some type of monitoring device he will use as well. >> let's talk about friday. he issued an apology to his family. he initially wanted to do that face to face to the family. the tfamily said no he decided o do it in court. >> there is public opinion and support of law. in court it didn't help or hurt him in terms of having bonds. it helped to humanize we heard the rhetoric going back and forth. i think it helped him in the public eye. >> he said he did not know if trayvon martin was armed or not. >> he didn't know trayvon was

armed contradicts what he said in the 911 call when he said he was a teen arj in his late teens, earlier there was a statement he said trayvon was going for his gun. so those two statements i say can come back to hurt him. >> why would his attorney allow him to say such a thing. this couldn't have been rehearsed. >> that's why most attorneys don't let them get on the witness stand because once they are up there you never know what he is going to say. his torn says he was answering questions from the family that trayvon martin's mother asked him in the media three things she wanted to hear from him. he addressed all of those. i can't say his attorney knew he was going to say all of that. >> where does it go from here? >> the recovery process starts. motions will be filed the state has to turn over certain evidence, forensic police paperwork.

i really enjoy building turbines. it's nice to know that what you're building is gonna do something for the world. when people think of ge, they typically don't think about beer. a lot of people may not realize that the power needed to keep their budweiser cold and even to make their beer comes from turbines made right here. wait, so you guys make the beer? no, we make the power that makes the beer. so without you there'd be no bud? that's right. well, we like you. >> it's now 58 minutes after the hour. we take a look at the good, the bad and the ugly. let's start with the good. the nypd detective celebrating the christening of his daughter this weekend. kevin brennan, you may remember this story, he recently survived a gunpoint -- gunshot to the back of his head. then the card chrissened his child. this woman got fired from her job after she donated her kidney to help save her boss' life. after the surgery she skipped out on work for a bit because she wasn't feeling well. her boss says that's not allowed and gave her the boot. finally the ugly.
