u.s.s. cole, killing him and two guards. and one of the wanted terrorist in the arabian peninsula, 17 american sailor died and 40 wounded while they attacked it in the dock. this explosion blew a 30 by 30 foot hole in the ship. the target of someone dressed as an afghan army soldier, this shooting killing one n.a.t.o. soldier. the latest in the attacks and so far 12 n.a.t.o. soldiers have died in such attacks. a startling admission from two lawmakers about the state of the taliban in afghanistan. a direct challenge to president obama's own ajestment of the taliban just last week during the surprise

unfolding in mississippi at this hour and we don't know yet, the bodies are of any of the three children who vanished, but the home is linked to the man suspected of kidnapping them. and joanne bain and three daughters last seen in tennessee reported missing by bain's husband. deafed lee miller, with a have we learned about the identities of the people found. >> the authorities are not ruling anything out. that said a few hours ago, the union county mississippi sheriff said it's very possible one of those bodies is in fact the missing mom, joanne bain and bodies were buried in the outskirts of guntown, mississippi and i want to em if a citizen, nothing can be confirmed no word of i.d.ing the second body. the home did belong to the parents of the alleged

abductor, a little more than an hour's drive from the community where the abduction took place. when this story was breaking, he was on the landscape pretty quickly who they were looking for. who is he? >> apparently early on he was talking with authority and initial sited conversations, or a conversation or law enforcement did. and law enforcement tried to at that talk to them again. and that's when he fled. a neighbor thought the world of the little girls, a quote, he was a friend of the family and often played kick ball and softball with the children and had ties with the carolinas, texas and florida and lived in the mississippi area where the bodies were found and the sheriff on the scene, his men are going to remain until this investigation is over, listen. >> we're keeping our department out here and kept our department out here all night last night and we're going to keep them here until

>> in great britain, investigators looking very closely at the security measures put in place for the olympics. there's a problem. one of the workers at the london park reportedly smuggled in a fake bomb last week. the british newspaper, the sun, says the man contacted the paper with concerns about search procedures at the park. and flying fighter jets over the city among other things and that man working along with the newspaper, reportedly smuggled in that fake bomb hours before the main stadium opened to the public. the smuggling, also coming just hours before the olympic organizers held the final event testing ahead of the summer games and the first

time that stadium had been opened. no hard done in this, except now, as you can imagine, authorities were taking a closer look at the procedures put in place to protect a lot of people. and well, 41%, that's the number of illegal immigrants who try to re-enter the united states after they've already been deported according to the statistics released by the department of homeland security and now reports of trying to cut down on that number through a controversial program that has some immigrants rights advocates very upset saying the tactics put people in danger and casey stegall in our los angeles bureau. >> yeah, harris, good evening, the tucson arizona border patrol sector has gone through the repatriation, instead of turning them back to the

also got to be making some folks in washington nervous, remember, an again, a lot of the economic problems in europe started with greece and its debt crisis and the two main parties there mainstream had a poor showing, extreme right and left parties scored well and politicians are saying, if he can this form a government with what is left of the parliamentary elections, they will want to renegotiate the bailout deal involving greece and the european unit and that's going to cause more problems in europe and it's going to be a very nervous monday morning on the markets here and around the world. >> harris: certainly would be, thank you, greg. as you heard greg saying, here at home, markets opening 14 hours from now and washington certainly watching the political outcome. what it could mean for your 401(k) nest egg.
