tv Red Eye FOX News June 22, 2012 12:00am-1:00am PDT
12:00 am
it forgot to say that in my segment. >> kimberly: see you all welcome to "red eye." let's go to andy levy. what is coming up on tonight's show? >> nobody gonna steel my head now that i am on the road again, america. our top story tonight, spanking video. that's all i got here. plus, you won't believe what one retiring democratic congressman thinks of the american people. actually you probably will. and finally can living alone increase your risk of premature death? check back with me in 10 years if i am still around. >> thanks, andy. >> a real scorcher. >> the h is o. >> what does that mean? >> the heat is on, my young friend. >> that it is.
12:01 am
>> good talk. >> great talk. let's welcome our guests. i will. she is cuter than a care bear playing pate cake with a smurf in hell. i am here with jedediah below. he is so sharp he sleeps on a dart board which is hard to do because you have to be horizontal and hanging from a wall. it is the imus in the morning executive producer. and his dumpster got free wi-fi. it is my repulsive sidekick, bill schulz. and if hilarity was laundry i would do him on a friday night. sherrod small. >> in the house. >> not really. it is a studio. and our new york times correspondent. good to see you, pinch. >> speaking to the latino elected officials, mitt romney proposes granting green cards to immigrants and giving legal status to immigrants serving in the military.
12:02 am
i condemn that, countered mitt romney. [laughing] that funny joke, boss. who mitt romney? intern, you are an idiot, but you make a great cup of coffee. >> how can he make coffee? he has no hands. >> he does it with his mouth. duh. >> i never saw the little one before. >> they are not shooting it anymore. it does prove that anytime you take something and make it smaller it is cuter. jay it is so cute. >> cuter and dumber. it was doing time or a sore behind. in a strange and yet trans fixing youtube video posted this week, a young man who is apparently dating a underage girl is given two punishments bay the father, a butt
12:03 am
whipping and jail or the spanking of his life. the father reportedly drove to the house of his daughter's adult boyfriend after learning they slept together. watch as dad explains to the dude what his options are. >> okay. that will be the end of it, james. otherwise other people whoa have have -- would have [bleep]. >> i will bend over, but i am nt [inaudible]
12:04 am
>> it is like the godfather one, stwo, three combined. then the punishment comes. >> this is the same thing that chelsea got. >> that's what chelsea got so -- >> you are [bleep] up. >> that's better than prison. consider yourself lucky, james. you could have had rape charges. >> the youtube user who posted the video wrote in the description, quote, that's what you get for putting it to an under age girl.
12:05 am
truer words were never spoken. afterwards dad assessed the situation. >> my ring finger is swollen up. >> have i to tell you, jedediah. jedediah, we have few details about this video. it was all over the place. we e-mailed the user for more information. we haven't heard back. but assuming what little is known, was the dad right to do this? he went over and gave the guy an option. i will call police because you had sex with my underaged daughter, or you will get spapged. >> i think he should have called the police anyway if the girl is under age? i feel like he made this video to entertain his friends. there was definiteliy grow driven stuff. they are talking about the logistics. you have to lay flat on the ground. if you lay over here you will hit your head. >> he was looking out for him. >> he was being a pal.
12:06 am
>> real or not real? >> first of all, the tape was as sexy as you said it would be. it was as sexy as you said it would be. jay do you think it is real? >> i think it is real. i think that is pretty real. >> it is so poorly done that i think that you can't fake incompetence. >> little does his father know he has a lot more spanking to do. >> what is your take on this? >> it is like a gay s and m tape. it is like a friday night at andy levy's house. >> he add gag ball in his house. i don't know about the authenticity of this thing, but to me it just seems -- it is perverted and orchestrated. if he was an adult and he was hosing his daughter he should punch his teeth out instead of i will spank you. >> you think it was fake? >> i think it was fake. >> i like to think of myself
12:07 am
as an expert. >> how old is the kid, like 18? >> i don't know. the kid didn't look that old. >> i'm sure they are the same age. isn't that -- is that illegal to be two years older than the girl? >> he might have been 21 and she might have been 16 or 15. bill, you are almost an expert in this. do you think that this is real? and do you think the guy should have done that and then put it on youtube to humiliate the guy? >> it is hard to choose a side here. everyone frowns upon statutory rape. we can't emphasize that enough, except maybe sherrod. basically you don't want to side with this kid, but you are right. the girl could be a year younger than him. he doesn't look that old. but the flip side is he actually looks like a man baby, so watching him get spanked doubles the hilarity. although i also side with you, the guy loved it. the process of coaxing him on to the ground and he is there like a beached whale.
12:08 am
the dad loved it. >> and taping it too. >> and then presenting himself. >> if this were an act in a movie or a tv, the father would be portrayed as a hero. >> and think about this, the kid is totally humiliated. he looks horrific and scared to death and then you can see his bear hinney being slapped. >> you know who is more humiliated 1234* his friend who is a virgin. >> what if it was one of hot teachers sleeping with the young male student. i was the dad of one of the young male students and started spanking her. i would want to see a tape like that, but this is disturbing. you guys are sick -- you are obsessed with this tape. >> here is why it was interesting to me. if you are a father and you find out your daughter is underage and having sex with an adult, that is kind of what you want to do.
12:09 am
>> it is upsetting. but this father had a lot of self-control. i wouldn't have talked it out. i would have went there with the lieu veeville slugger and beat him and his brother and his father. >> that guy could have kicked the you know what out of that kid. >> how did they humiliate him? >> i can't endorse this. he said something about his daughter like this was his -- i will do what i did to my daughter. >> is that what he said? >> i hope he didn't say that. >> that is what he said. he said "i'm giving to you what you gave to my daughter." >> that's kind of weird. >> that is weird. >> i thought that meant he spanked his daughter. jay that's how i understood it too. >> maybe that's what he meant. >> what if the daughter ends up marrying this kid? come to thanksgiving dinner with me.
12:10 am
>> it is disturbing on every level. but if he did that to his daughter that grosses me out. maybe they will work things out. who knows? from butt pain to campaign. if your skin is white will you never be right? that's the message of a new ad campaign called unfair. it aimes to achieve racial justice by raising awareness of white privilege. the project is sponsored by university of minnesota duluth , an actual city, and several other liberal organizations, of course. it takes white guilt to the hilt claiming on billboards like this one that society was set up for us, being white, and it is unfair. try to control yourself. and they also made an on-line video. >> what do you mean? >> it is not luck. it is privilege. >> we are privileged people see us and not a color. >> privileged we don't get staired at when we walk into the room. >> privileged we don't get followed by security when we get shopping. >> or pulled over when we are in the wrong neighborhood.
12:11 am
>> we are privileged because society was set up for us. our silence keeps it in place. >> we are privileged, and that's unfair. >> i wish that was a permanent marker they used. speaking of white privilege. that was interesting, guys. bernie, do you think this helps race relation? >> how dare you not come to me first on this? i was waiting for that. >> you will wait your turn. he has white privilege. >> you are right. >> that actually stokes the racial divide. it widens -- that type of gnaws yaiting crap. i grew up in the projects in
12:12 am
the south bronks. i got lucky. most of my white friends are dead or hanging off a scaffolding in 90-degree weather. if you work hard in this country you make it. look at the president and look at michelle obama. let's everybody get past the nonsense. >> i think the people with the magic markers on their face, they forget there is a black president. >> condoleezza rice. let's see, morgan freeman is doing pretty good. >> james dee -- >> kanye west. >> i hear cabdrivers yell out those same names every time they pass a black guy. >> that is such an old cliche. you have to come up with something new. your turn. >> some people exploit it. it is white guilt. my rap name used to be white guilt. i had two albums. i didn't go no where.
12:13 am
i think it is too much. you are writing on your face and what are you doing? white people are so uncomfortable with everything they've got because you should be and you took most of it. >> i didn't take anything. i worked hard for it. i don't have an ounce of guilt in my life. >> what we need to do is let's all concentrate on the future and the president and try to get along together. >> i like that. >> and try to build. >> that's a beautiful message. >> all of the finger-pointing, it is like enough already. when is it going to stop? >> when is it going to stop? >> i can understand why these people feel guilty, but get over it. >> i think they are stupid. they are born and bred from the teacher's lounge. they drew on their face, and i am tired of that. >> what is awesome is the students rebelled. they said this is not cool. this is ruining the energy on the campus. >> i love that young people, a lot of them don't feel that racial divide. they don't see color the way a lot of people used to.
12:14 am
>> we are past that. look around, man. you can see interracial couples and people working together and kids hanging out with each other. it is not like it used to be. >> i think it is like an old tool they are using too late. maybe in the 70s or 60s. >> this is the morons that are teaching your kids and filling their minds with poison. they can kiss my white ass you idiots. >> it is supposed to be young and hip. what is young and hip is realizing nobody cares what race you are or ethnicity you are. nobody gives a damn. >> i don't know if i like the language. >> maybe a little over the line there. aren't these people closeted racists? it seems they have something to prove by writing on their face. >> i don't care what they have to prove or what they don't prove. >> it is not complete. >> that is the best thing about the video. when you turn down the volume they all look like they were victims of passing out too
12:15 am
early at a frat party. speaking of one who knows. speaking as one who knows. >> in general any of these campaigns where -- and it is also music videos. people holding up signs that say things and they have music playing. "i have been abused" or stuff like that. i am really tired of this stuff. i don't care about the message, right, left, in between. writing is silly. they don't realize how foolish they look. >> i wish i knew what that word meant. >> he is right. >> i know somebody named that. >> i can do big names too. from angry white people to more angry white people. will defacing bills solve our ills? something called the robin hood tax movement calls for a 50 cent sales tax for every $100 traded on wall street. it ising bayed by the usual
12:16 am
bozos, gwenyth paltrow's wife, chris martin. they say taking a cut from all transactions will raise $350 billion which can fund pension plans and medicare. also they want to -- they want everyone to deface currency. >> the best way to symbolize it is when we have george washington as a symbol of this country. what we want to do is put a hat on george washington and symbolizing robin hood. we will put a mask on him because our government is rising to this particular point. >> i am tom morrell low. i represent the robin hood tax. george washington is about to become an occupier. >> thank god these guys also have the hulk. >> give us a break, would you?
12:17 am
>> that was quick. let's not forget alec baldwin lending his support to the movement. he did lose some weight. good for him. bill, you are the only bill i would consider defacing. is this illegal or not, or does it matter? >> i guess we learned earlier that it is only illegal if you add like a 0 to the bill. other than that you can write stuff on the dollar. i like the idea of this. especially where the money is going -- the only way it would work is if it is done globally. we will only lose jobs. >> why a robin hood hat? why not a ll cool j on there. >> you can do that, but it wouldn't be a robin hood movement. >> no, it is an around the way girl. >> that's only if you are
12:18 am
going back to cali. a little hip hop for those people at home. >> i like this idea the money goes to the military. will they be for it or not? >> probably not. but i agree with bill. i kind of like the idea myself. it has been a longtime since i graduated from the school of business. but i did read it and i am an expert. they serve no useful social purpose. no product comes out of it. if you can do it universally, i have no problem. >> i have about a minute. jedediah, i think do they have climate change, this is balogna. it is only for things they like, and it doesn't do anything about spending. it is about spending. it is not about taxation. >> they don't care about spending. this is all the same class warfare. whether you like the policy or
12:19 am
not this is pro climate change. let's throw more money at education because that has been working over the years. it is a whole bunch of political political -- i think this is happening because occupy is dying out. this is their revival. >> they are trying to pick the best part, the most nonviolent part. >> we have to try something. trickle down ain't working. >> let's cut taxes. what are liberals good for? >> their children are my throw pillows? what a terrible thing to write. but first, how much does america spend on booze?
12:23 am
americans don't like congress, and apparently it was mutual. one retiring lawmaker called it dumb. democratic congressman gary akerman the guy next to me was hanging out for 30 years and asked how things changed over that time. his answer, quote, it used to be you had real friends on the other side of the aisle. it is not like that anymore. society has changed. the public is to blame as well. i think the people have gotten dumber. i think you have gotten dumber. one of akerman's assistants pays tribute to the retiring politician in song.
12:24 am
>> that was a horrible rendition of "america the beautiful." jedediah, i cut you off before. when he said america has gotten dumber, is that code for something? >> i thought it was code for people actually getting dumber because i agree with him. >> really? >> i think we are getting dumber. i think the educational system stinks. i think the reality tv i watch and love makes me dumber every day. watching snooki, i do. if i ask my dad to relay historical events that happened he can talk about the presidents and all of this stuff, and i can't do that. >> and you are a teacher. >> spanish. i can speak spanish beautifully. >> bernie, here is the thing, she agrees with them. i think everybody may have gotten dumber, but he is saying something else. he is saying because of the climate where there were other voices he disagrees with, he
12:25 am
thinks they are dumb. he is talking about fox news. he is talking about -- everybody has gotten dumber. nobody listens to him anymore. jay that's right. and he longs for the days where there was one voice and we had lines. we now give broadcast licenses to philosophy. people get confused and think there is no difference between news and entertainment. i think that engages people. the gop debate was the best reality show. >> i guess the tea party is stupid. the whole movement that got people elected was stupid. sherrod, you have been following politics. >> since the beginning of time. i'm a product of regenomics. >> that was named after a president, not the girl in "the exer cyst." >> any hoo, what was the
12:26 am
question? >> that was the question. i have 15 seconds left for bill. >> i thought he was telling me something. >> i was going to see what you think. >> i think malarkey. you had no question for me. >> i was get thrg, and you made me lose my place. maybe he is right! we are dumb. >> they are totally right. >> nobody wants a smarter voter. why would you want that? >> i think this is an elitist opinion and he is a sour pus and nobody cares about him. >> if you were a republican you would have agreed with him. >> but a republican would nef say that. >> i wish they would. i wish more politicians would. we are too stupid and sensitive to deal with it. jay he is mad because he looks like purdue had a baby with ed koch.
12:27 am
>> he does. >> you are just proving his point by making fun of the way he looks as opposed to the things he was saying. i'm trapped. >> we're idiots. >> he better not get on the bus with me. >> terrible. do you have a comment on the show? e-mail us at fox news.com. and leave a voicemail on my direct line. still to come, the half time report from tv's andy levy. >> tonight's half time report is sponsored by parrots. the brightly colored birds some species of which can mick mick speech. mimic speech, thanks, parrots.
12:31 am
let's see if we have gotten anything right so far. >> not feeling strong about this tonight. >> what's your problem 1234* half time are you not feeling strong? >> yes. >> what's wrong? >> we'll see how it goes. >> you want to be heckled? will that help? >> sometimes it does. absolutely. it gets the adrenaline flowing. >> i have seen some comedians come back. >> you should start off bay asking us where we are from. >> yes. or shout, hey, new york! >> say something local. >> are you guys done?
12:32 am
>> just trying to help you out. problems at home? >> no. everything at home is fine. let's talk about spanking video. what does transvixing mean? >> i know. trans fixing. transvixing is when you charm a sex worker. that's hypnotizing somebody with vix-vapo rub. >> that could be fun. >> good catch. i was hoping nobody was notice. >> it was right off the bat. >> that was a good catch. >> jedediah, you said the father should still have called the cops if the girl was underage. but we don't know any specific ages here. >> that's true. you envision a 14-year-old.
12:33 am
you envision the worst case scenario. >> i certainly would like to state for the record i do not envision a 14-year-old. >> come on, andy. you said worst case scenario. >> we will have to edit that out. >> i feel sorry for the young girl. >> for your own protection and your career we will have to edit that out. >> you get me in hot water every time i am here. >> awful. just awful, wow. >> you are a terrible person, andy. >> sherrod, you said the tape was as sexy as greg said it would be. does that kid know how much he would have to pay for that in new york city? >> to get the spanking? >> at least $115. this kid, if the father wants to embarrass this kid lay him down and take his pants down and spoon with him. that would have embarrassed him more than a spanking, a grown man spooning him.
12:34 am
>> i would take his pants and run. >> i would spoon him and hug him and cuddle with him. >> we have to move on. >> you guys are talking about this. he said, quote, this is the same thing that chelsea got. i agree that sounds like he was saying the kid spanked his daughter. >> i think it means he spanked his daughter. >> i guess it does mean -- now that i think about it, i guess you are right. i honestly thought -- >> which makes it weirder and even -- well, sad. i think it would have been weirder if he let the world know this kid spanked his daughter while having sex. i think your way is less weird. >> if the kid said, yes, she got it twice. >> that's why i imagine a young girl. you wouldn't spank a 17-year-old. >> here we go again. >> could on! >> your imagination is appalling. >> let's get out of this. >> bill, i agree with you.
12:35 am
i think the dad loved it. handle your business, do what you have to do, but don't video it. >> exactly. i want to know who the videographer was because he is terrible. >> i thought at first he was doing that so their faces wouldn't be seen. if that was the case he did a horrible job of that too. >> if you notice he really got that butt. >> let's move to the white privilege projects. >> let's keep going. >> you said you wondered if the markers they wrote on their face was permanent. i think they should leave it on there all the time. >> why are you clapping? >> and greg, a little -- >> i am getting spanked. >> embarrassing when you start to list individual black people who were successful.
12:36 am
don't do that. you are not proving a point. >> you are wrong. you are put in a defensive situation when people say we are in a racist -- we have the president of the united states. more than half of the country voted for him. >> it is like say i have a black friend. >> are you full of [bleep] >> first of all, you know he doesn't have black friends. >> i didn't say that. i would never say that. what you are talking about is there is enough freedom and opportunity in the country for black people to become president and to become leaders. that's different than saying i have a black friend. >> there has been black leaders in this country from the beginning. >> you were arguing there wasn't opportunity and i said there was. >> there is always somebody who can -- the masses didn't have the same opportunity the president had. not everybody can go to columbia university.
12:37 am
>> that's not necessarily about race. >> who knows? have you ever seen columbia university all black? >> jed jedediah, i don't think anybody would seriously argue that things aren't as bad as they used to be. are you saying everything now is hopingy dory -- honky-dory? >> i think things have improved drastically, dramatically. the intentions are noble. the intentions are noble. citing the president of the united states or somebody you know are two different things. >> i think in the long run, we live in a country where everybody don't have the same rights. as long as we have that, -- >> please. compared to what other countries? >> i am not saying other countries are better than us. >> we are the greatest country in the world. >> i agree. >> people are trying to get in
12:38 am
here every day. >> greg, you can't seriously argue everything is equal in this country. >> it is better than it used to be and it gets better every day. >> these people are making it worse. >> i don't disagree. what these people are doing is stupid. >> it is like they have shame for the white people. let everybody find their own place there. don't shame people into believing what you believe there. >> i also want to find out about this store. >> robin hood robbed from the government. the sheriff had it and he imposed harsh ks tays on the people. tax on the people.
12:39 am
these people are idiots. >> teal from the rich and give to the poor. >> the rich people he was stealing from they taxed their money from the people. he was giving it back. >> basically he is more like a tea partier. >> i'm sure this comes as a shock that those supported by martin 1k3* morello and those who think drawing hats is their own idea. they say it won't affect ordinary americans and their savings. financial transaction taxes like this hurt pensions which hurts ordinary americans. >> is chris martin even american? >> he was also the first guy to start drawing on his body? he is a trailblazer.
12:40 am
>> i don't own a single cold play song. >> i love cold play. but i don't talk about what is going on in your country, chris martin. keep making albums. >> bernie, you like the idea of the transaction tax. what if i said the your pen commission did an you a success meant of .1% transaction tax qh this -- even with a 1% tax it was likely to enduce a loss in gross domestic product more fan the revenue raised. it has the opposite affect. >> all we know is in the study they point out that jp diamond and goldman sacks -- it was jaime diamond. they lost $2 billion. these things they gamble, they don't produce tangible products.
12:41 am
people are getting filthy rich on nothing. >> i am not for the bailouts either. i think the tax would work. >> what andy is saying, it doesn't work because it actually creates -- it puts a drag on the economy. it is one of those things where people say it will make us feel good, but they don't think these things through. >> then i am against it. how about that? i do think drawing a hat on george washington will definitely affect a lot how people feel about things. >> i can't wait to get one in circulation. i don't think i will ever see one. i don't know i will ever see one. >> in new york you might. >> that's true. >> will it be a kevin kostner
12:42 am
robin hood? >> i was thinking of gibing gottier? >> dickgottier. >> how about the fox in the disney version? >> what about sean connery in "robin and marion." >> i am going with sun de duncun and peter pan. >> bye, andy. a story so invigorating that i can't wait to rub this story all over my face. then you throw up. should voting be mandatory 1234 nope. well, i answered that question.
12:46 am
we should talk about that. according to a new report, one goes to booze. the difference is where we spend our money. in 1980 stwo -- the year i discovered cinemax they cough up more to drink at home than in bars. probably why we are spending more are prices have gone up. a $15appletini. let's discuss this. >> lightning rough >> lightning roooouuuunth nd. lightning round. >> doesn't this figure sherrod saying low $1 for every $100. >> i thought it would be $2 or $3. are we losing to the australians? it is shocking that people
12:47 am
spend so much more money in bars. we are paying for a social atmosphere. >> i can't drink at home. i get depressed. >> you write and you drink. if you are watching tv and you are drinking you are an exal lick. are you an alcoholic. >> my people are doing their share to keep the $1 -- my people are doing their share and i can say that. i like to drink at home. i enjoy it. >> you probably have a home. i have an apartment. >> you have a lovely house. >> you probably have a bar and a pool. >> i get in my truck and i listen to music. >> you have a few before you go out and you move up and save some money and then go out and not blowing all of the money. >> you are not driving and taking a cab. >> no doubt. >> my friends don't do that. they have the drinks and they
12:48 am
are so drunk they spend an excessive amount of time at the bar. >> your friend single? >> some are. >> bill, you spend $100 out of $100 on alcohol. it is surprising that most of the nation is lagging. >> i haven't bought a drink f five years. yes do it for me. that's the way you do it. call me, rufus. >> why do you use the name of the bar in "three's company." >> the regal beagle. >> not the fake jack tripper. the real jack tripper. >> since they banned smoking ?ot as many people go to bars. but they spend so much time outside they don't buy alcohol. a lot of people don't pay their bills. >> that's another reason i don't like bars.
12:49 am
12:53 am
he says because of low voter participation rates, i can't speak, it is likely no u.s. president has been elected. mandatory voting would diminish the affect of big money groups and negative campaign ads. it doesn't sound like this guy is worried his guy could lose in november? >> it sounds like another mandate for a geek with a bad rug. >> you don't like rugs. you proudly don't wear one. >> you have to keep it real. >> that was offensive. >> gary akerman is right. mandatory voting is not a good idea. >> jedediah? >> bad idea. >> should we get rid of the electoral college and let them declare the winner? >> sure. jay yes, sure. yes, sure. >> that's a terrible idea, mandatory voting. jay what is this communist china?
12:54 am
>> that's a serious question. >> he is asking a serious question and doesn't know where he is. >> he sounded like me there. >> bill, are you surprised that i am reading the wrong question? why can't voting be woman-datory. i don't like man do tore. the only mandatory i do like is another bar where i get free drinks. i recommend the mandates. it is half off tonight. >> you support the health care law, right? >> i support a lot of guys. >> basically voting that is like 99% they are in bad shape? >> usually. >> where it is 99% are places like where iraq used to be or north korea is right now. i don't know why i do this to make a point. >> you are spanking pinch. >> this is what you did to my
12:55 am
12:58 am
12:59 am
>> they are still doing that? >> that guy. >> i am trying to think of the guy's name. >> jedediah, what is your next column going to be? >> i am interviewing him about his new book. you need to hear about it. stay tuned. >> is that the name of the book? >> no, it is called "the great destroyer." >> it is not about obama, is it? >> why would you say that? >> how sigh -- how is imus? does he talk about me? >> yes. when are you coming out. >> when you invite me. >> i will be on the -- "the talk" with julie chen next tuesday. check it out. >> i'm sure she will be thrilled about that. >> anything to plug quickly? >> you can catch me on abc good afternoon america and
