having fun. they can call the hogs and do all sorts of stuff. welcome to all of you folks from little rock here today. [applause] >> it was a special week in our family. our little grandson chandler celebrated his first birthday and had his first taste of the cake and i think he enjoyed wearing it as much as eating it. and then our little grand daughter celebrates her month. the joy of watching them is enough to make me forget about the nonsense of washington. well, almost. and look. after the house of representative voted to hold attorney general holder in concontempt of congress for failing to give documents for the gun running operation that resulted in the murder of a officer. holder and some members of congress insinculated it was based on holder to be the

first african-american to serve as attorney general. it was not a partisan vote. 17 demjoined in the vote in the contempt charge. say was race ask not about the facts that your tax dollars bought hands that ended nupt hands of mexican drug cartel and used to murder 300 mexicans and a american law enforcement officer. it an insult not only to briantery but african-americans everywhere. i grew up in the south and i know what racism looks like and fought against it my entire. and appointed more people of color than any governor in my statacy history and receiving 48 percent of the african-american i take a back seat to no one in fighting bigotry. it is not disappointing, it is
12:03 am
dus gusting to hear the attorneys of and members of congress hiding behind racism instead of talking about why briantery was dead. and who is for it it insults african-americans that accomplished great things not because they were tanglewood resort properties incorporationed up but because they were the best at what they d. there is racism in this country, and i know that. but that is not the reason that eric holder is in. it is condescending of every taxpayer that wanting answering questions is about race. if we can't get government officials who are supposed to be accountable to the taxpayers f. they are people of color, they shouldn't take the jobs. dr. king king had a dream that
12:04 am
people would not be judged or exed by the color of their skin but the content of their character. claiming racism by the highest ranking officer in the nation . equality means people are treated without regard to their color. when white kids don't get prosecuted to the extent that black kids do that is racism. but it is not about color on the attorney general. it is it not color but his compliance with the law. that is my view. florida congressman alen west has caused race controversy in a campaign stop when he spoke about president obama's policies he does not want you to have self-esteem.

of his home you talk about his someone such as myself being judged by the content of my character and not the color of my skin, we find that that is reverse it is a slap in the face to us when you look at the military where people are judged on their merits, no one does not get promoted because someone said you are this color or that. it is because of incompetence we see that iminating from the department of justice. incompetence and noncompliance with the subpeona from the house of representative and we do have oversight as part separation of powers that our system tabed a sad day when those individuals walked out of the house of representatives and i would add that the chairman of the black caucus was quoted once

american people. you go back and look at documents that thomas jefferson wrote. it talks about sovereignty that come from our creator and not man and government. when you look at this country, it is it a collective subjugation that is current in america. we have a 45 percent increase of food stamp increase in this country and more americans are on the poverty rolls. the jobs report, you have more people on social security and disability than the jobs were created it is my point, we are creating economic dependency and i call it slavery it is not physical but it is even worse. it trounces the entrepreneural spirit. and we don't see our small businesses being able to get capitol and because of such

ridiculous to beg people to get on food stamps and tell me what you are in the enemy and home that you own and car. sign up for government benefits. >> yeah, it is horrible when you think about the original intent of the 1964 food stamp act. we have gotten so far away from it. in 2002, we spent 20.6 billion a year today in 2012, we are spening 75.8 billion on food stamps and look at the farm bill debated in the 70. 80 percent of that farm bill is food statches it is a big business industry and used it in convenience foregas stations and just yesterday at a 7-11 taking the snap program or ebt cards. it comes back to enslavement of the american people and not
