who is on the ground with the general says the strike occurred shortly after midnight in afghanistan forcing the air base into lock down mode for more than an hour. basis personnel will ordered to their bunkers. shrapnel from two rockets struck the chairman of the joint chief's see 17 plane forcing the chairman to await a plane to leave afghanistan. dempsey was in his quarters at the time of the attack and was not injured or in any danger according to zane. some were treated for light shrapnel and possible brain injury from the strike. the two rockets were fired remote timer. general tedempsey has been concerned about insider attacks against u.s. and troops. in an earlier interview while

president obama told reporters at the white house monday he would be placing a call to president karzai to reiterate u.s. concerns about insider attacks. >> in the long-term we will seifuer u.s. casualties and coalition casualties by sticking to our transition plan and making sure we have the most effective afghan security force possible. but we have to do it in a way that doesn't keep our guys vulnerable. >> the plane dempsey would have taken back to afghanistan. he was not injured two u.s. persons on the ground were injured and possible brain injuries from those. we will keep you updated. now another top story. a fra freight train carrying coal has derailed killing two people. this happened in maryland 14

and access to the bathrooms but did not provide them with regular updates. for that they did apologize. >> if you are stuck there for 30 minutes or more they can offer you to get off. a lot of folks didn't know about that. airlines are making the seats smaller. >> it is not the skimpy food the checked baggage fees or flight attendants travelers complain about the most. it's leg room. if you want more you have to pay for it even if you are sitting in coach. more airlines like jetblue and southwest are using bigger planes with smaller seats. that means more passengers more revenue for them and less room for all of us. all in all those little fees added up to 22 billion for the airlines. when you are traveling with your family you want to sit together that's impossible. >> tell us about apple. a oo more valuable than microsoft was bigger than the boom in 19 # 9.

it's a split decision for two southern states fighting illegal immigration. a federal appeals court ruling it is unconstitutional for alabama to require schools of citizenship status. they determined alabama and georgia can check the immigration papers of detained suspects. >> 15 minutes after the hour. there's growing concern about a plan to bail out under water homeowners. taxpayers are required to cover 100 percent of the costs. this is the first of 19 states required to do so under the government's hardest hit program. >> remember taxpayers were told they would not bear the brunt of the housing crisis. responsible homeowners would not be require to do bail out others. >> they are paying my monthly mortgage payment of 2578.
