rican. we got to go out hard. sofia. that is it for us five. thank you for watching. see welcome to "red eye." i'm greg gutfeld or as i was known in germany, the frankfurt flasher. now to andy for a pre game report. >> our top story tonight, as donald trump issued the classiest presidential challenge ever? the allstar debate ahead. and will a tv movie about the killing of bin laden turn that a propaganda against president obama? and what is mitt romney's secret to a great tan? the shocking buzz feed expose that some say will changing the very course of american electoral politics forever. greg? >> easy for you to say. andy, how about those giants. >> how about those giants, 5 and 2, baby.
12:01 am
>> what are you talking about? >> 5 and 2. >> i was talking about really large people. >> i have -- we shouldn't get that it now. >> the san francisco giants, a group of really large men that live in the bay area. i go there and stay with them sometimes. >> do you really? >> they are great. >> castro or hate? >> all over the castro. why go anywhere else? >> i hear you, buddy. >> clothing optional. go away. let's welcome our guest. she is so hot that girl scouts roast marshmellows over her. i am here with jedediah jedediah bila. and he is so tough his bath towels are made of sand paper. he is terry sapor, u.s. army special forces. and he is considered a bargain, bill schulz. and if thoughtful commentary were a trumpet, band geeks would blow him at a football game. it is john gibson, host of the radio program, the john gibson show. named after john gibson on fox news radio weekdays at noon
12:02 am
eastern. blal >> was it an offer he can't refuse or a kind of snooze? on wednesday, an actual day of the week donald trump came clean on the bombshell he was teasing for days on end. that's basically a dare. after taking credit for the president releasing his long-tomorrow -- long-form birth certificate he promised to give a $5 million check to a charity of obama's choice. probably to kenya. provided he released his college and passport records before the november election. should barak take the bet? would not only trump be happy and satisfied, but the american people be happy. >> not only would i be happy and totally satisfied, but the american people will be happy. >> just checking of the as for the public's reaction to this supposedly devastating
12:03 am
announcement. >> a check $5 million. the check will be given within one hour after he releases all of the records. >> you know he has been waiting there for five hours for time warner to come and fix his cable. he had to take off work and he can't do anything. >> and he won't get that time back. he doesn't live that long. >> he was able to listen to mpr. >> five hours in a dog's life waiting for time warner cable is a year. is donald trump right? he is always right. he is probably america's mark twain. >> there is zero chance he will write that check. >> because he knows obama will not take it. >> if he comes on -- by the way, doesn't he have a new show coming out? is every appearance with donald trump coincidental with
12:04 am
a new show? i don't want you to think i am not a trumper. >> yes, you are not a trumper, but how can you say it is not a coincidence? >> it is not a coincidence. he is once again trying to self-promote himself. i don't know why we fall for it. >> vow saying it is a coincidence. >> have it your way. >> i'm sorry. i couldn't stop. >> i coined a term fill an throp pick extortion. it was not just a genius phrase, but the activity is bril yept. is brilliant. is this a good thing? >> thank you for calling me a member which we were laughing about. >> you are a member. >> i am a member of the u.s. military. does donald trump think he is helping it? >> you don't think so? >> it is more of a distraction, and i guess it is kind of funny, but it is a coincidence. >> it is a coincidence.
12:05 am
>> i happen to think it is bril yept, but do you -- brilliant, but do you think it is a help or a hindrance? >> it will only help if he has something to show us. if he had the college records and they had something in them that made us look at the present or give us insight, but the bottom line is, he doesn't have anything. he is basically involved in a business transaction. you give me this and i give you that. he painted it like he was going to reveal something. he has a bunch of hate mail. >> he loves the hate mail. >> bill, how much money would you take if i were to ask you to shoot yourself in the foot? >> bag of cool ranch dorritos. i think i just low balled myself. two bags of cool ranch dorritos. fix the one and edit. okay. get me a pistol. i am hungry. birther donald trump can do whatever he wants with his money. i do not begrudge him that. but gibson is absolutely
12:06 am
right. >> he is not writing the check. >> let's not use words like charity because it could go to his so-called charity. it ain't going to me. i am not happy about that. but the amount of money and free publicity he is giving himself and all things trump related casts more than $5 million. in that way he is inned could of smart, but not really because he is done thald -- donald trump. >> i disagree. he does -- doesn't need publicity. he gets it all the i'm too. if obama does not accept this offer. >> which he won't. >> he is essentially taking $5 million from people who need it like the poor. >> should he be impeached or arrested? >> he should be impeached for cheating worthy charities out of $5 million. donald trump never intends to pay it anyway. >> i am glad you agree with me. >> and it was all started by a video. >> yes it was started.
12:07 am
>> this activity scares me. the only person who can do fill an throp pick extortion are wealthy people. somebody could pony up money to bill and say $10 million if you can -- >> you know he will do it. >> take pictures of greg changing in his office. they can do that and the money will go to charity. >> i will tweet that during the commercial break. >> the good news is this is so crazy and so stupid, that it will not be a smudge on romney. it will just be another donald trump. >> larry flint did this all the time. he would offer $1 million to find a gay republican. >> or to find who ever was in bed with whatever politician -- >> at some point he will have something to share and then no one will tune in. they are so used to him doing this kind of thing. >> it was the boy who cried
12:08 am
hair. >> he is never going to have anything, period. it reminds you of the lawrence o'donnell threatening the son. >> it is from tarantini. >> that was awesome, hysterical. wouldn't it be funny if romney's kid was on the doorstep and said, okay, let's go or barack obama said here are my transcripts and make the check out to -- >> barack obama is a selfish person. he can help people in need and he is not. >> it wouldn't help him. >> i think we learned a available lesson that i like trump. >> we have nothing else to say. >> from big reveals to navy seals. did they reedit to give him more credit. for those worried about a tv movie about killing bin laden airing two days before the election would turn into propaganda, you can put those fears to rest.
12:09 am
the film has been reedited to make the president's role more prominent. according to the new york times, a paper of note, big time backer harvey weinstein personally stepped in to recut the film. quote, using news and documentary to strengthen the role and provide a window into decision making in the white house. the director denied the changes changes are politically motivated saying the only purpose is to bring more realism to the film. one scene leaked on-line. i saw it. it was pretty grim. >> now i think it helps romney. i don't know how it helps obama. >> i don't know why they call them seals. >> jedediah, weinstein insist
12:10 am
itself was not meant to make obama look better. >> are you trying to imply that hollywood wants to help obama? are you crazy? never happens. and gnat geo came out and said there was an additional scene to be cut because it shows romney negatively. geo stepped up and said that propaganda that will not work. i guess they will have cuts tell propaganda. >> that was actually too much. it would be funny to see the editing room and weinstein walks in. >> harvey. >> he comes in and says, kid, come here. you have to change it. the guy , mr. weinstein. they won't say no. that's totally propaganda. >> with or without the changes you get zero credit for killing bin laden. >> if anyone were to ask me they would say are you for organs killing bin laden? therefore -- >> it was no easy decision for
12:11 am
you. >> i am the real hero. it was no easy decision and no easy day. a book i was going to write about the day i was going through all of these things when i took out osama. >> i remember you were doing your laundry and you were short on change and far away. you still made the decision to support them. >> you know why i was so upset, i didn't know if osama was killed yet. but doing laundry is finding drugs day. i didn't find anything in my pockets. i was stressed and then this happened. >> is it one big coincidence, and it has nothing to do with weinstein wanting to re-elect his buddy, obama? >> weinstein has been running obama political fundraisers for a year or two now. now they say the changes were not politically moat vaded, but meant to give the film a stronger sense of realism.
12:12 am
they now do this propaganda stuff and change it to make it more propaganda with a straight face and in front of everybody and say, smuck. you don't believe me? of course i am telling you the truth. our company owns this channel and i hope it does well, but i hope nobody believes this. >> the worst part about this is you can do all of the movie crap aspect, but let's be honest. we have been watching the news and i know i am a special forces guy, but the seals are not big fans of president obama and the way he handled this. i think their reaction is the most important and not what harvey weinstein thinks is most realistic. the seals are telling you, hey man. >> what about the scene where president obama permanently shoots bin laden? >> it was in a dream sequence. >> and then it cut back this time and bill was there i think. >> with my laundry. >> it was a clever bit of
12:13 am
artiface. >> you were riding on obama's wipings. wings. >> biden may have been there as well. >> i have the scenes he is in. the first one includes him at the white house correspondence dinner. the second is him taking a long walk as he deliberates over a decision. and the third is him declaring justice has been done. you almost feel like he should be in more of the movie. it is not that big of a deal. it goes without saying national geographic owned by rupert murdoch. i am going to watch. >> it becomes a bigger deal because they come out and say, oh it wasn't time 40 election. that's the big deal to people. >> it is a lie based on a lie. >> the theme of the show tonight, coincidence. >> by the way. if the president is happy to paw paw lit size a victory.
12:14 am
victory, why is it wrong to paw lit tau size bin go swree. benghazi. >> we are going to talk about that in the next segment, but the fact is you can't just say -- you can't just be political for one thing that helps you and then say no politics. >> it is the one thing obama has to brag about. the singular achievement. >> osama was the number one. >> and small wigs too. >> and their cousins. >> only george bush did that though. only george bush killed innocent people. >> come on, come on. >> one more thing. weinstein would not have made this movie if a republican killed. >> i didn't notice the movie about the capture and trial
12:15 am
and hanging of saddam hussein. >> that wasn't the good war. that was a republican. >> do i have time for this? from wars fog to downward dog they put the pose in a pose. a group of parents are upset as yoga classes in san diego. fearing they are indoctrinating students in religion. there is a deep concern the they are using taxpayer money to promote a religious system and beliefs. in an e-mail thea call the yoga less sons unconstitutional and threatened legal action. it is funded from a grant from a nonprofit group that promotes yoga. the district says it removed any religious content from the classes. what do the children think? we asked one.
12:16 am
>> that was not a child. that was quite possibly the most adorable marmiset. that's how you clean and dry a wet marmiset. >> they taste great with marmalade. >> how dare you? gibson you taught a feminist yoga class where you combined discourse. >> do you buy this threat? >> what is the school district -- why don't -- kids don't do well at math and don't know history and how mr. bill becomes a law. they are not getting pe anymore, but we get yoga? i don't know about the parents worrying about hinduism, but how about doing the stuff schools are supposed to do? is that too much? >> no, that is too much. that's not enough. jedediah, you are a teacher, or was a teacher, probably will be a teacher. >> of something. i have to learn something.
12:17 am
>> is this offensive to you? >> no, i like it. it destresses the kids. it gets their mind in the right place. they could be doing a lot worse things. it is not mandatory. if they mandated it -- you don't like the idea? >> i just like making noises. >> he is doing yoga. >> make a big, toothy grin. >> you are into that. is our world going to pieces when little kids are doing yoga? >> it is the end of time. i wish i could do yoga because i can't get dressed in the morning. i agree with mr. gibson. yoga is cool. i don't think you are indoctrinating them to be hindus. >> you can't go to yoga if you can't write a paragraph. >> you do nude yoga in the park on top of elderly rich men. >> yes. >> is that exercise?
12:18 am
>> no. i am not going to get into detail of what it is, but it is lucrative. >> this is the equivalent of saying harry potter believes in the occult. >> and it does. >> any wizzards can send your mail to greg. we have fat kids. yoga does not burn calories. all we will have is flexible fatties. that's all we will have. >> maybe a power yoga. >> please. i have to move on, but tom shalou made a point that yoga is nothing but stretching. stop calling it yoga. it is people stretching and they renamed it yoga. or took yoga and called it stretching. i don't know. i have no energy. stop me from talking about it for 6 or seven minutes. now i will go to a break. what is up next for the sport
12:19 am
of the nude volleyball. we get the scoop. first, what is clint eastwood up to now? about 20 pull ups. he is truly ageless.
12:20 am
12:21 am
12:22 am
do they have a lead on who did the deed? e-mails obtained by fox news show hours within the deadly attack in libyan -- libya officials claim alexandria kay do group -- an al-qaeda group had responsibility. why the u.n would claim the attack was a spontaneous protest against that anti-islam video that basically nobody saw. one e-mail sent that day, september 11th is titled update to al sharia claims
12:23 am
responsibility for the benghazi attack and reads, embassy tripoli. they called for an attack on embassy tripoli. on wednesday secretary of state hillary clinton downplayed the e-mails. >> posting something on facebook is not in and of itself evidencement -- evidence. it underscores how through wide the reporting was at the time and continued for some time to be. joy she is not thrilled to be there. i have to go to you, terry. you are in the service. what do you think happened here? why are they not going to level with us? >> trying to be careful with my army career, we have been lied to multiple times, up and down lied to, and why didn't i hear when president bush was in office and obama lied and people died. just tell us the truth please. can the government come out
12:24 am
and tell us the truth. it is worse and worse every day. we deserve better than that. just come clean. >> is there nothing here and we should move on? >> no. >> that's what you said in the green room. i am not sure it has a big bearing on the election, but look, you have to prove this over and over and over. the e-mails are the latest level of proof. have we forgotten there is live video coming into the state department as this is happening. the ambassador walks another am am -- ambassador outside, no protests goes back outside and 9:00 and guys are coming over the walls with ak-47's and apg's and dropping in mortars. we are arguing about e-mails? the state department, hillary clinton's people knew that night what was going on. obama denied it by sending susan rice out and then he went on letterman and said it was the movie and then went to
12:25 am
the u.n and said six times it was the movie. now we know he had to have known or there is such a level of incompetence that that wasn't the movie. >> here is the thing, jedediah, you know if this was an election season which there was a republican incumbent, this would be bigger than watergate. because their guy is in trouble, the media is basically saying, no. >> no, sorry, move along. >> thouing, nothing. >> this would be the lead story everywhere and taking precedence even over the economy. the media would be throwing it in everyone's face 24 hours a day. couldn't get enough. people would be reading about this and knowing about this and focused if it was a republican incumbent. i don't understand how hillary clinton can talk about the fog of war, and we had all of these mixed messages. if you were confuse why did you go out and make a decisive statement you were able to blame this on a youtube video and spontaneous protest. it makes absolutely no sense.
12:26 am
>> if you were confused walk down tots video room and say rack up the tape. you can see exactly what happened. there is a picture on the screen and you can see what happened. >> i was in alaska when this happened. i had no internet or phone. in a couple days i was like, we just got attacked on 9/11. i was like, this hurts my heart and there is no national outrage on this. can we at least get freaking pissed off instead of talking about the e-mails and who said what. we lost guys on the anniversary of 9/11 and there is fat guys in a bar talking about the jets. i swear to god i want to take their head and slam it. >> that was a jab at me. >> it wasn't. i am upset about this. >> i know. and we live in a time when we are so consumed by stuff around us whether it is the iphone or whatever, the stuff seems so far away.
12:27 am
if obama agreed, why did he go to vegas? gas al-qaeda opening for sin bad? >> have you seen the amount of gold jewelry? that is very akin to some middle eastern people. they could very well be in vegas. at first they said they took credit for that. it was a confusing atmosphere. and can we put an end to the whole if blank would go to the white house blank would do that. there would be no problem talking about osama being dead. if a movie was shown, all the better. i don't think we are talking about that as a negative either. >> it does work both ways, but i have to add that for the most progressive president on the planet the left is aggressive in throwing attacks. whether it is shaheen or michael moore.
12:28 am
>> you know the guy who made the movie is still in jail. >> he will never get out. they will knot let him out for fear of -- what if he gets out? they will have another riot. that's the logic machinery you build around this idea. joy it is an ideology you believe in and have faith in and will mrve everything. will manufacture everything. >> do you have a comment on the show? e-mail us. if you have video of an animal doing something interesting, fun, exciting go to fox news.com slash red eye. still to come, the half time report from an dough levey. >> tonight is sponsored by ballet, the form of dance characterized by steps, poses and grateful movements including leaps and spins. thanks, ballet.
12:29 am
12:30 am
12:31 am
12:32 am
welcome back. let's see if we got anything wrong so far. for that we go to tv's andy levy. hi, andy. >> hi, greg. >> awkward. >> trump, greg you said trump took credit forgetting president obama to released his long-form birth certificate. you meant long form birth certificate. >> yes. >> trump takes credit for it and at the same time doesn't believe it is real.
12:33 am
don't really get that. >> he can have his cake and eat it too. >> it is like long-form birth certificate or whatever it is. >> you think what trump is doing is not helpful, but why does the gop play along with it? >> he has a lot of money i reckon. >> i think so many more people have more money. they have a bigger mouth. >> you know what it is, hoe has a direct line to the american people. he has a direct line to the american people. he is as rich as he can be. people on the street like donald trump. they do. his tv shows are successful. when he walks down the street people say hello. >> he is a joke. >> to me he is an entertaining young man. >> you are looking for a new apartment, aren't you? >> perhaps. >> one with hardwood floors. >> morning light.
12:34 am
>> classy chandeliers. >> he doesn't want to be ariana huffing ton. >> you said the $5 million might go to the charity. >> he would be paying for the charity, but what he is coulding is investing in various trump enterprises. you said this won't be a smudge on mitt romney. he tried to pin the whole thing and even the media didn't go for it. >> give me a break. you said the gop goes along with it, but i don't think they went along with this. >> not with this thing. but they keep giving him -- until the hurricane changed things, he was going do something at the convention. mitt romney goes to him for an endorsement. >> he dropped him like a hot rock. >> just disassociate yourself. not disassociating yourself is knot -- is not the same as
12:35 am
associating yourself. >> going to accept an endorsement on national tv. >> shake a hands months ago bye-bye, have a good life. >> what has trump done that is so truly awful? >> it was truly awful. it was so stupid. we are going to announce a big thing and it will severely affect the election. you released your records i will give you $5 million. $5 million. >> but i didn't take it seriously so i am not hurt. >> he takes himself seriously. >> i like that. >> he says things on twitter like, this debate is foreign because they haven't mentioned me. he is kidding. this is a big joke. >> he's kidding? >> sky net will be more aware.
12:36 am
>> by the way, sky net is almost there. >> jedediah, you said at some po nie t trump will have something and nobody will believe him jie. he is the boy who cried classy. >> i forgot your joke. >> the boy who cried hair. >> and trump will never, ever have something, ever. >> i tend to agree with you, but say at the end of this he actually had the college records he will release another statement like this and people are like, forget about this. >> we were sitting here while every three weeks gloria allred is doing the same thing, the same awful thing to people. and we never talk about it, but it is entertaining.
12:37 am
go honeymoon. >> i know bill says we always do this with the right and the left, but larry flint was treated like a hero when he does this crap. >> flynn has a movie about hills. >> this is a guy who spent most of his life in the lowest form of pour nothing bra fee who was treated as an -- pornography who was treated as an american hero and offers millions of dollars to capture a close -- a closeted republican. yet he gets a free ride. >> the supreme court case is by freedom of speech.
12:38 am
what did it say that the network had to step in and do more in the first place. >> exactly. it was not politically motivated, but he had to step in and make sure it was not overt propaganda. okay. basically tells us everything we need to know. >> bill, you brought in the fact that they said justice is done. spoiler alert there? >> i thought about that. >> it has nothing to do with the ending. >> it is how david justice was getting his hair done. >> maybe he was making some casserole. >> and that is inaccurate. >> he said i am getting my hair did. >> you snow what he says, justice is done and it is over done and then they move on. >> that's how it works.
12:39 am
>> we are thinking lower. >> we really are. >> worth noting by the way, at least some of the documentary footage that was added to the movie was shot with michael moore in "fairn fight 911. >> that was a coincidence. >> of course. >> greg, you said if bush wasn't when bin laden was killed they wouldn't have made this movie. he bought the rights to it. >> and he probably would have done the movie. >> he wouldn't have right the -- bought the rights. parents upset bio go. i don't understand -- you seemed a little upset the school was -- not a big deal, but. >> i just think schools are not doing their job generally. this is a deep elective. give them pe.
12:40 am
>> i feel like given the amount of time it just seems a little weird. >> am i a hipocrite? sure. >> i will skip that. i agree with you that the administration straight up lied to the american people about what happened in benghazi. with that said, i think you probably agree with me, but secretary of state clinton is right on one thing, the fact that a group claimed responsibility for this on some social networks, i mean that's kind of -- sure. but you know what, side issue. you lied. the administration is getting deeper and deeper. my brother deserved better. >> i completely agree. it boggles my mind that most people don't see it. >> did they really think they would get away with it knowing all of this stuff se mail
12:41 am
traffic? >> they got two more weeks and they are getting away with it so far. >> none was driven by the people who should be putting out the information. it is campaign driven. >> absolutely. >> and we know this. >> we made a lot of trouble about the zapruder film. but we can't look at this video? >> back to you, greg. >> john is on the show enough that he saw where it is going. >> i stopped it. >> thank you for calming me down. >> see you later. coming up, a plate of potato skins i ordered for the table, but for me. why does mitt romney look so tanmy and what is the sun's agenda.
12:42 am
12:43 am
12:44 am
12:45 am
he is back on the air without the chair. clint eastwood is pinching mitt, but this time on script. roll tape, tape rollers. >> the last few years america was knocked out. 23 million people can't find full time work. it was $4 billion every single day. someone doesn't get the job done, you have to hold them accountable. obama's second term would be a rerun and our country couldn't sit by that. we need somebody that will turn around fast and that man is mitt romney. there is not much time left and our country is at stake. >> his voice is like my driveway, pure gravel with bodies buried underneath.
12:46 am
the ad is running in seven swing states including colorado, florida, ohio and bermuda. let's discuss we shall we? >> lightning roooouuuuunnndd. lightning round. >> john, will this have any affect on voters ? i >>- q. i sure hope so. i am worried we will never see another clipt eastwood movie again. ticking off hollywood like that -- >> he doesn't care he is an icon. he can do what he wants. >> have i a theory that when you are older you become an icon and then you come out of the closet because then people can't hurt you anymore. >> you can't argue about dirty harry. >> why go to me with that? you called me a member to night and accused me of coming out of the closet. >> you like heartbreak bridge? >> there is a certain element to it. it was about the same time i went into the military. >> you know who ruined that movie?
12:47 am
mario van peebles. that was the late 1980s? >> right before i went in. >> right when rap music was like getting further in the mainstream with nwa and public enemy. he was playing the worst rapper on the planet. >> but also some fake rock and roll guy. there is no such character in the world right now. >> does this ad change your vote or are you writing yourself in as a write in candidate? >> i think this was a great ad for any and all voter who struggles with phlegm on a daily base sighs. basis. >> that's a pretty good impression. jedediah, what's your take? >> i like him. i adore clint eastwood. i think the ads that hit home have real regular people in them. those are the home runs. a lot of people love clint eastwood.
12:48 am
could make a difference. >> who is the next generation to clint eastwood? >> i don't know we have one. >> jason stathom, but horrible movies. >> i would say timothy olifant after this great movie, great show "justified" he will become the next -- >> what part of ryan gosling do you not understand? >> by the way, they made tom cruise as jack reacher, and i saw the trailer for that and the worst thing you could ever think of doing. he was supposed to be played by timothy olifant. >> it is more like jack reach around. time for a break. more stuff is on the way. >> way to lower the bar.

finally we have answers to the mystery that is mitt romney's gorgeous golden complexion. he eats babies. the secret is spray tanning. they say he steers clear of tanning salons for obvious reasons and gets misted at home or in his hotel suite. always paying out of his own pocket. thank god for that. the campaign denied this. what do you think? >> i was fully expecting this
12:53 am
story to weave into racism. into the skin tone and what is romney trying to do? i am disappointed in busby. this is crazy. i think he looks great. i think he looks fantastic. >> terry, you spray tatoo. what is wrong with looking awesome? >> first of all, i don't pay to get misted. they do it for free. first of all, listen, biden has hair plugs and veneers on his teeth. just leave romney alone. if he gets spray tanned, cool, if he doesn't, cool. >> john, you spray pale. >> i don't know what everybody is so shocked about. every one of us got sprayed before we came to the studio today. >> i was sprayed in the alley. >> it is standard make up. you spray the stuff on and you are going to be on tv and what's the big deal? >> that is true, bill. every day we get our faces covered in lotions and goop.
12:54 am
and he goes on tv every day. >> as a professional i want them to do it all over and they never do. the make up girls give me lip. i am about to coin a phrase, mitra sexual. that's what he is. >> you have your open shirts, greg. >> i actually had chest hair plugs put in. >> i am not even following what was said. >> anything i need to edit out? >> you are good. >> if it stays in the show and i get in trouble for. it i didn't hear it. >> you will still have your job. >> i am not even sure what i said. i. >> that never stops you. >> i just keep on talking until it sounds english. we have going to close things out with a tv interview with andy levy. somebody just hit a homerun. >> pay attention to us. >> look, something happened.
