southern main saw ten inches of snow across this area. significant snowfall this storm pulling out of the region. new today will be a finer day across the area. we have blizzard warnings across the pannhandle texas, oklahoma. these athey are expecting some f the worst conditions through the overnight hours. that's when we will be seeing more significant snowfall accumulations. winter storm warnings posted as well. as when heed further fartoward north and east chicago you are under a winter storm watch because you could be seeing significant snow from this storm system otherwise the southern form of it tornadoes damaging wind gusts large hail through texas through the florida panhandle. widespread area that could be looking at severe weather today. >> maria molina, thanks. >> oo hamid karzai taking troops

out of a crucial region. karzai ordered special forces to leave the pro dense and killing. >> hamid karzai made these allegations among afghan linked to u.s. special forces in the providence. the afghan claims some of that misconduct includes the beheading of a stew p dent. it is a key location for insurgency efforts. certain armed individuals linked causing insect and instability. in a statement gaven stan national security council claims u.s. special forces stationed in that providence are quote engaging and harassing annoying

torturing and even murdering innocent people. the afghans further state that misconduct is causing local public resentment and hatred. in addition it goes on to saying bombing intelligence officials which is nearby providence as well. claims u.s. special forces are discussing the providence. they want the u.s. to handle individuals allegedly involved in the actions for misconduct and stating for the u.s. special forces get out of that area in the next two weeks. u.s. forces are basically saying, quote, we take all allegations of misconduct seriously and go to great lengths to investigate them. that's all of the further comment we are getting now from the u.s. military as they continue to wait to talk to the afghan officials to find out more details.

>> thank you reporting to us from washington. take a look at who is talking and the big chatter in the nation's capital the looming sequestor. we are four-days away from the $85 billion of spending cuts. in this moment it doesn't seem congress reach add deal. >> in washington you have a large kabuki going on about who will be blamed. no question these thoughts are going to be painful and they are thoughtless. i know tom coburn and i agree on that. we need to do more spending cutting. we agree on that. why is it that we want come to the table and agree what cuts need to happen. that's what we should be doing. we shouldn't be passing the blame to the executive branch and saying this is obama's sequestor. the republicans supported this i supported it. we need to come together to make

the right cuts. >> president obama is warning of dire consequences. >> our recommendation to the president is it is stop campaigning. last year we passed one of the most sweeping education reformulas in the country giving real choice to our kids putting right teachers in the classroom we have significant tax reform. my advice is stop the campaigning stop the cabinet secretary from scaring the american people roll up your sleeves and do the and use the revenues to lower tax rates so we don't have the highest corporate income tax rates. >> coming up at 7:00 a.m. donald trump gives his take on the

chicago where it could dump over 6 inches of snow becoming the most significant snowstorm so far they have seen this season. so this storm system going to produce across the central plains before heading east into the great lakes by tomorrow. it is already bringing down pretty heavy snowfall through portions of the texas panhandle oklahoma and kansas. this is where we have blizzard warnings in effect. up to 18 inches in some areas but strong winds over 30 miles per hour. that will produce dangerous conditions on the roadways. on the southern side we had severe weather. from eastern texas kansas city and even georgia looking for the possibility of tornadoes damaging wind gusts. as if all of that wasn't enough

good condition this morning. five of the patients were discharged from here they were brought to the medical center after a horrific terrifying crash saturday. we had an opportunity to talk to one of the patients brought here. his name is eddy huckabee. he and his older brother was here in daytona beach for the race. he suffered severe lacerations to his leg after shrapnel and debris from the car flew into his leg. he under went surgery and he is expected to be here for the next 48-hours. even some injured here that remain in stable condition say they would do it again and would sit in the same seats the experience being that close to the nascar race is what makes it thrilling and exciting.

here with the numbers is diane macedo from the fox business network. good morning diane. >> gas prices are continuing their record setting climb here. it is under 3.78 cents the heist it has err been for this time of year. $0.43 jump from where it was a month ago. this year's run up isn't only larger and faster than recent years but it is beginning earlier than usual due in part to u.s. refineries performing seasonal nans and making the switch over to summer blend gasoline earlier in the year. another reason for the price shock is a fear factor unrest in the middle east particularly in syria and iran. the site has drivers and analysts alike wondering how high prices will go and when they will begin to retreat. the good news there is triple a is projecting the price this
