poltroon. again, thanks for watching us tonight. i'm bill o'reilly. please always remember the spin stops here. we are definitely looking out for you. >> this is a fox news alert. the tense standoff situation in florida ends tonight. the suspect was shot and killed when a s.w.a.t. team stormed his home. one officer was shot but his injuries are not life-threatening. police say the hostages are slightly injured but should be okay. it began earlier today when firefighters respond today a call to medical attention in suwanee, georgia. that's about 35 miles outside of atlanta. the man was demanding for his cable and electric to be turned back on. we will monitor the story and bring you the latest details as they come in. and finally, president obama has
6:01 pm
put forth his budget proposal. i will be joined by the gop whip. but let me get into the details. earlier today the $3.8 trillion plan was unveiled, immediately proving he has no intention of ever getting washington's fiscal house in order. instead he's willing to reach deeper into the pockets of you, the hardworking taxpayers in this country. watch this. >> here's a clear and unassailable fact. our deficits are already falling. over the past two years i have signed legislation that will reduce our deficits by more than $2.5 trillion. more than two-thirds of it through spending cuts and the rest through asking the rest of americans to be paying their fair share. that doesn't mean we don't have more work to do, but here's how we finish the job. my budget will reduce our
6:02 pm
deficits by nearly another $2 trillion so that all tolled, we will have southern passed the goal of $4 trillion in deficit reduction that independent economists believe with we need to stabilize our finances. >> where does he come up with these numbers? by the way, did you notice fair share again and again and again. his plan includes nothing more but spending and taxes. republicans on the budget committee they crunched the numbers. the figures they came up are scary. over the next ten years over this budget, over 8.$2 trillion will be added in few debt, the opposite of what the president is saying. but it will take more money from hardworking americans, specifically more than $1.1 trillion in brand new taxes. the administration already has big plans on how think want to spend the money because the budget proposes $964 billion in
6:03 pm
new spending. he will never learn. joining me is california congressman ken neglect montgomery. his last two budgets he couldn't get a single democrat, congressman, to vote for it so we have $1.1 trillion in new taxes. he got increase necessary january and now we have $964 billion of new spending. seriously? that's his budget? >> that is his budget. what's even worse, sean, is his budget never balances. when people do a budget in their own household, they do a budget so it bams so they get out of debt. he adds to the debt more, takes more taxes out of the economy from hardworking taxpayers so he can continue the spending spree. he never fixes the problem. >> he said about george bush that george bush was irresponsible and unpatriotic. this was when the debt was $9 trillion. taking a credit card to the bank of china in the name of our kids and grandkids and ringing up all
6:04 pm
this debt. now we have $16 trillion, over $6 trillion of new obama debt and now he's going to add $8.2 trillion by his own estimate? where does he think this is going to end? >> this is the real difference between the president's budget and the house republicans. house republicans budget will balance in ten years so we will stop borrowing. at the end of ten years just the debt of what we are going to pay every year will be more than $700 billion. that's what you are going to be paying. and that's -- how can you ever invest in the future or have an economy that will grow? he grows government by more than 5%. >>. >> we have to deal with another issue here and somebody has to say it, i guess i will. because not only is this delusional on the part of the president, he's showing great arrogance in ethe only one that's fair and balanced in his own thinking and his own mind here, but he's also full of
6:05 pm
crap. can we lay this on the table? sorry to say that, congressman. i said it, you didn't. but he says reduce the deficit $5.2 trillion. that's total garbage. he's lying to the american people. because they are not cutting spending. they are not cutting back on deficits. he's given us record deficits. how does he with a straight face tell this garbage to the american people? >> i don't know. it's a lot of smoke and mirrors because it never balances. it takes another 1.1 it would. he didn't even produce it until the house passed a budget and the senate passed a budget. why did he produce a budget? because he's missed every deadline. no budget he has ever produced has even got one vote from a republican nor a at that time has ever voted for any of husband budgets. that's the sad part about it and that's why we in this fiscal mess. >> you guys came up with through paul ryan, i like the penny plan, cut one penny out of every
6:06 pm
dollar, no increases. but i'm just a humble little talk show host, but with that said, you guys have increased spending 4% a year every year for ten years and every democrat acts like, you know, you are gutting, you are cutting, you are destroys, when you are upping the anti every year. >> the other thing that's important here, not what people in washington say about it but john taylor, an economist at stanford, he put a modeling system together and looked at our budget. what he found was the republican budget would grow the economy faster, would add another percentage of growth in the next year and that's what is really important to america. let's put people back to work. let's get them working and off the ability to have to need government assistance, but more importantly, buy homes, pay for the kids' college and is invest

in the future. >> there is the president, what was it memphis soul night at the white house and justin timberlake and queen latifah and al green we will show a video of the president and he's sitting there with michelle and having himself a good time. we are paying for all that at a time he's paying about the sequester, at a final he's complaining about cuts and furloughs, he's having the time of his life partying with tiger woods and vacationing all over the place. >> and then he cuts the self-guided doors from the white house because there's not enough money for the people to be able to see their own house. that's absurd. it's what's wrong with washington and what is wrong with the priorities of washington. here you have republicans in the house that are putting priorities first to grow the economy, balance the budget because you know what is really fair to americans, not to leave a debt for their children, not to leave a debt for their next generation. >> we are robbing from them. here's my last question, congressman. the way the president
6:08 pm
characterizes you and conservatives and republicans you want to kill granny, you want to destroy the environment and you hate children, especially sick children that you want to just leave to fend for themselves. that's his characterization. but meanwhile he's accumulating all of this debt, record deficits, and then he lies. the president says he's cutting. he's not cutting. can you explain how you are going to combat that? >> well, the best way to do it is numbers don't lie. let's put our numbers out front and show his. but let the outside even study him. we have to continue to fight for this country. this country is too important and the one thing the house is doing is we are put a budget forward that balances. even the white house will tell you, rare less of the smoke and mirrors, his budget will never balance. >> sad. we are robbing the kids blind. go back and look what he said about president bush $9 trillion in debt ago. we will watch this unfold very closely. tell the fellow republicans,
6:09 pm
hold the line, fight. >> we will. >> we appreciate it. we will show the party video, i missed it. i wasn't invited. all that coming up on the program. a big party night. and i don't like the president lying to you, the american people. he hasn't cut anything, he's given us record debt, record deficits, and he tells you he cuts. he doesn't cut anything. coming up tonight on "hannity," we will examine it more with president ted cruz on gun patrol. and brand new developments rereal a missile launch by the north is imminent. that's coming up next. also later tonight. >> people who work hard and sacrifice and save their money and make major contributions, we think they should earn a little more. >> the obama phones, obama housing, obama phones. another bizarre television promo

something after all this rhetoric, these military threats, these missile tests in the past. and the danger is miss judgment. a miss calculation. i think the secretary of defense was right to say in his statement that north korea should not cross a certain line. again, there has to be, i believe, some kind of proportional response by the united states and the allies. what do i mean by that? well, if this is a test and this is a test that sends a missile into the ocean, it's still a hostile act. but i think everybody needs to be cool. what is happening, i believe, sean, in north korea, is that he's no longer doing this, the new leader, for domestic purposes. there has to be an end game and i believe the end game is that the north korea military, the hardliners, those that don't engagement, those that want some kind of hostilities, have gained the upper hand.
