people here in oklahoma and for loved ones, it's just devastating. and i just pulled up to the grade school where they're trying to find the children that have not been found yet. and your heart just breaks for parents that don't know answers to questions whether their child is safe. i've been through a lot of disasters in oklahoma but to see this size of, see how many areas are devastated just absolutely incredible, it's just beyond expressing words and we drove up tonight in this area, where the indicator was. the hospital took a major hit. there are five different schools. and looking down the highway at south major interstate i-35 there are emergency vehicles, miles down the highway itself.
8:02 pm
the cars on the side of the highway pulled off. looks like they're topped. just caved n we lost lives. here in oklahoma today as you just said it's been a terrible, very sad day. >> maybe you can explain this, but when i hear people survived they go into these rooms and these cellars. won't an elementary school have such a area of pro stex? >> i'm not sure yet. i haven't been able to get details on this particular school whether it's an old or newer school. some schools in the state do have safe rooms and have been able to determine what the schools have at this point in time. we do know there have been

fatalities at this grade school. i'm looking at it. there are big emergency lights, and firemen have been going hand by hand searching here. but the building is just a total destruction. >> i can't imagine, i imagine there are parents there. are the parents in the area kept them away so they can do the rescue? the rescue mission? >> well, the parents are not allowed up here because it's a rescue mission at this point in time. they did have ins stances trying to unify members of parents and parents and there have been students
