and heather. >> the freight train colliding with a garbage truck. it started a fire that sent flames shooting into the air then suddenly an explosion. >> back up. >> the powerful blast could be felt over a half mile away. windows blown out bricks knocked off buildings nearby the side of a warehouse right next to the tracks completely collapsed. the terrifying explosion rocked the entire neighborhood. >> must have been a 40-foot burst of flames just exploded. i ducked down. >> all of a sudden it knocked me down and my two other co-workers. >> it came off the ground. >> it felt like an earthquake fish tank started rumbling and tv started rumbling. >> a huge plume of smoke could

be seen for miles. the fire was contained and burned for hours. the train was carrying chemicals considering hazardous materials. no toxic fumes were released into the air. there was one injury from the crash the garbage truck driver is in serious condition. exactly what triggered the explosion and the cause of the crash are still being investigated. >> anna kooiman this morning, thank you. speaking of explosions sections of disney land were evacuated after an explosion inside of a trash canalling. dry ice and a water bottle forced the area closed for two hours. witnesses say it sounded louder than a gun shot. >> as we were going out we probably saw a couple dozen people in security going in the other direction towards it. >> luckily nobody was injured.

it is not clear if it was an accident or intentionally set. >> sad news. the sports world mourning the loss of one of the winningest college quarterbacks ever. cullen finnerty's body was found in michigan. he went fishing near his familiar lace cottage. police do not suspect foul play. finnerty led grand valley state university to three division 2 national titles and more than 50 wins. he recently played in the nfl for the broncos and ravens. he was 30 years old. two employees of the u.s. embassy were shot outside of a strip club in caracas. the shooting stemd from a fight outside of the club. none of the injuries are life threatening. one worker was released from the hospital last night the other expected to be released today. the u.s. embassy is working with

local police to investigate the shooting. >> while you were sleeping a big political announcement michelle back m michelleback man announcing she will not seek reelection in 2014. bachmann was first elected to the house in 2006 and is the first female congresswoman in minnesota. she made the announcement on her web site. >> i feel confident over the next 18 months i will continue to work to preserve the constitution that served as a bedrock as to who we are as a nation. >> she is confident she would have won reelection. she denies it has anything to do with an investigation into her 2012 presidential campaign finances. >> more than 2200 royal caribbean passengers are back home after a nightmare cruise. they were flown back to

say no toxic fumes were released. the truck driver is in serious condition. >> a oregon teenager is held on bail for allegedly plotting to blow up his school. grant accord was in court charged as an adult. police found six homemade bombs in his home. according to court documents he also planned to make a 20 pound propane bomb and kill himself after the attack. george zimmerman at a pretrial hearing. judge ruling defense attorney cannot bring up trayvon martin's marijuana use his suspension of school or any reports of previous fights in which he got involved. however the judge may allow it to come up during the trial. zimmerman pled not guilty in the shooting of 17-year-old martin last year. the trial is set to begin june 10th. today an arizona mother will

the american center for law and justice said 25 tea party and conservative groups were singled out by the irs for extra scrutiny. some are waiting to be approved for tax exempt status. this goes beyond the official narrative brought out by the administration that the it was low level irs employees from the cincinnati office who took it upon themselves to go after these groups. >> i will tell you from my experience as being a junior lawyer, a trial lawyer these are not rouge letters. they are selling washington they were getting supervisor ry approval. it was the largest office for taxation. >> the group has a number of documents to back up their claims some signed in fact by lois lerner. she is placed on administrative

>> just about 15 minutes until the top of the hour. the man accused of trying to open an exit says he is bipolar. he told investigators he was hearing voices for about 4 days and hadn't taken his medication in over a year. he did not enter a plea in court. an 81-year-old man in nepal abandoned his hike to mount everest. he was trying to be the oldest person to reaching the summit. they were considering adding a ladder. on good days as many as 150 people reach the summit and the ladder will help avoid over crowding. some say it's cheating. what do you think? >> maybe they wershould put in escalator.

>> i don't know. pretty hard to get up there. we have a heartbreaking update for you about a little girl trying to beat end stage cystic fibrosis. they are refusing to change their bopolicy and allow the 10-year-old to get on the adult transplant list instead she is on the child transplant list because she is not 12 years old. a lung transplant from a child donor is much more rare. without new lungs she will die within weeks. the board claims the policy is in place because they can't measure for the lung allocation in order to make sure the sickest patients get the lungs first. we talked exclusively with sara's mother about the decision. >> my kid is dying. her doctor told me she is dying. they told me i have weeks. how can you tell me her las score isn't accurate. in other countries children under 12 you know how they
