congressman jim jordan questions the director about the fbi's alleged investigation into the irs. let's watch. >> how many agents investigators have you assigned to the case? >> may be able to do that. have to get back to you. >> can you tell me who the lead investigator in. >> off the top of my head, no. >> the most important issue in front of the couldnntry, and yo don't know who is leading the case? >> no, i don't. >> you don't know who the lead of the case? >> no. >> have you met with any of the victims, any of the tea party folks? >> i don't know what the stat of the interviews. you are asking details of the investigation. >> that is not a detail about the investigation that took place prior to the investigation started. >> may i please finish? >> i'm asking basic questions about the investigation, like who is heading it up, and you can't tell me that. you had a month to investigate. this is the biggest story in the country, and you can't even tell

me who the lead investigator is? >> with answers like that, it doesn't appear we will get to the bottom of the irs scandal any time soon. director mueller asked to comment on the bureau's ongoing investigation into the benghazi terror attack. here is trey gabby. >> the closer you get to a crime scene, the better able to investigate it and process it, right? >> absolutely. >> and the bureau did not get to the crime scene in benghazi how long? >> two weeks. >> why did the bureau not get to the crime scene in benghazi two weeks? >> a number of factors, the first one relates to the state of security in benghazi. no security. >> if benghazi was not safe enough for the premiere law enforcement agency in the world to go, how is it safe enough for us to send diplomats? >> another question that is not in my -- >> wow. unfortunately there, were a lot of unanswered questions on capitol hill today, that includes whether or not the

obama administration is violating your constitutional rights by spying on your phone records. now, this afternoon, kentucky senator rand paul held a press conference to call on all americans to join a class action lawsuit against your government. take a look. >> my suspicion is every cell phone in america is having their data tracked, so i think everybody in america, anyone in america who owns a cell phone should, if they want to protect their privacy, become a party to these lawsuits. >> tonight, the white house says it has evidence that syrian president assad's regime has used chemical weapons against h i it's own people. tonight, unclear what the administration plans to do or how quickly they plan to do it. so with this announcement by the white house, you think maybe possibly it was politically timed? joining me with reaction to today's hearing is former new york city mayor rudy giuliani. how are you? >> good, sean.

how are you? >> the headlines are out today, you asked to provide military support to syrian rebels, aren't these the same rebels that pledge royalty to al qaeda? >> exactly. i mean, al masra, the major group, has specifically pledged aleenlance to al qaeda. he could have maybe handled this effectively a year, year and a half ago if he wasn't leading from behind. this is a situation while obama is fiddling, syria is burning for the last 2 1/2, 2 years. so there is a vacuum left. it has been filled by the al qaeda affiliate in that part of the world. so now if you arm them, they have -- their leader has announced, their next target after syria is the united states of america. >> wow. >> so we'll be putting arm and training into a group -- of course we should overthrow assaad. we have to be careful we don't

create a bigger enemy of the united states. >> look, i'm sympathetic. between 80,000 to 100,000 people die. >> i was in favor of doing this a year and a half ago, sean. it seemed we had a chance -- the rebel groups were more legitimate rebel groups. groups reacting to the oppression and corruption of the assad regime. a good chance of reforming them. i don't know where the notion of leading from behind came from. leading from behind is called following. here is what i want to know. is it possible what the president is proposing here, is to arm al qaeda to defeat assad. possible we would do something that stupid? >> i can't believe we would do that. i think part of the hesitation for the last six months has been they are aware of this problem in the obama administration. i don't know that they would admit they created this problem. i believe they did.

i think they are aware of the problem. they are dealing in check mate. i don't know what they are going to do. a no-fly zone, maybe they can do that. to give arms, unless we were careful and knew to whom we were giving it. the quality of intelligence, never the very best. he has himself in a real pickle this is what happened when you leave a vacuum and you have an america that doesn't want to be aggressive and act. somebody else fills the vacuum. in this case, al masra and russia. russia moved in and became an iran. russia sees a vacuum and there supporting assad. on the other side. al qaeda supporting the rebels, we have nobody there that has anything but the worst intentions toward the united states of america. >> you hear what bill clinton said today? he said in a speech. i think he didn't know that it was being taped. that obama risks looking like a

total fool and a wuss. >> that was bill clinton? >> i haven't even said it that strongly. the president understand what happened. that by failing to act a year ago, a year and a half ago, obama created this situation it is true, he doesn't have a good answer right now. but what is also true, he put himself and our country in that position. and for that, he and hillary clinton should be held to account. >> it sounds to me like tossing mu bara mubarak all over. and the muslim brotherhood all over again. >> the answers to benghazi. what was your action? >> she's terribly disengaged. i was third ranking official in

the justice department during the reagan administration for very serious and very sensitive investigations. if you asked me who the lead investigator was, well, i had met with that guy probably about 20 times, so it would have been right on the tip of my tongue. i don't get it. the irs scandal going on. outrageous violation of people's rights. the fbi director has to be on top of that. the fbi director has to know that's going on. you've got benghazi. i don't understand how they didn't get in there two weeks. i never heard of law enforcement officials, not going to a crime scene, because it's too dangerous. that's what law enforcement officials do. >> did you hear that question, though. >> i was the mayor of new york, if my police commissioner called up and said, hey, mayor, there has been a crime, we can't get in for two weeks. >> too dangerous. >> i can't tell you what i would have said. >> i don't think i would want to be on the receiving end of that call. how about at that point, if it is too dangerous, we bring in

special forces and have them protect the fbi agents go in with, you know, 550 s.e.a.l.s ad protect the fbi agents. if you don't get to the crime scene for two weeks, you can kiss that crime good-bye. i don't know, maybe they want to do. >> one common denominator is the lies. benghazi lies, attorney general lying as it relates to james rosen, clapper admitting that he lied, basically i was as untruthful as i could be. does that not come back to bite them? if i lied under oath, why do i think i would be in trouble? >> it indicates that they are just telling one story after another. vow to continue to lie. first we practice to deceive, it goes on and on and on and on. and the reality is, here is where it really hurts america. beyond the political issue. we have this big nsa situation.

where telephone records were seized. other records seized. that may very well be a legitimate effort that is keeping us safe. the reason for all of this distrust is because the president has built mistrust by the way these situations were handled. for now, you go to the american people, and you say the president needs this discretion to trust him. but people say, wait a section, irs, benghazi, rosen, ap, we're going to trust him? and you have this man snowden, who is there, top security clearance, three months on the job, high school dropout, how many other -- how many other snowdens are there? the sensitive records, how well protected are they? how well protected is your privacy or mine with these sensitive records if people like snowden can go on a little machine and get them? >> it's frightening. >> it is frightening.

i see nsa a situation where the administration was probably acting good faith to protect our society. i don't see the irs that way, benghazi, snowden -- rather rosen, or the ap. but the incompetence of it hurts just as much. >> i agree. and also against the actual letter of the law, the patriot act. and what the fisa courts were designed. jim sensenbrenner wrote the bill. overreaching. >> i think that may be true, but i don't know. here is what i'm sure of. it's being handled in the most amateur ish way if a person like snowden can get access to it. >> mr. mayor, good to see it. busy night tonight. on "hannity," the famous person who snubbed president obama what he joins us live. but, first, startling new analysis, attorneys donated more to obama that romney. the ratio, 20-1.

and. hello. welcome back no "hannity." startening new information. a pepperdine university associate law professor looked which political candidates these lawyers donated to. the professor explained that lawyers are relevant because they are the ones taking the lead in writing regulations, litigating cases and making delicate legal judgment calls in borderline cases. down right disturbing. of the irs lawyers who make contributions in the 2012 election, 95% contributed to obama rather than romney. the ratio of obama contributors to romney contributors was not 4-1 as previously reported. but more like 20-1.

the ratio of funds to obama was m lopsided with about 32 times as much money going on obama as to romney from irs lawyers. it's proof that the actions that this agency was taking were politically motivated. it destroyed the narrative that two rogue employees in cincinnati were responsible and how could anyone say this scandal has been "solved." i don't get it. joining me, billy cunningham and tara is back with us. billy, what do these numbers tell you? >> it tells me the collection agency for the welfare state is the irs. they had their marching orders, knew what they were doing, targeted vis to suppress the votes. 201 2012 scared the heck of tara and the other democrats. we have to go after the at the

party. they had to suppress the vote. because they were doing that, they accused republicans for suppressing the black vote. they suppressed the tea party vote to get obama elected. they scared the hell out of democrats, regulated the tea party, obama gets elected. >> tara, more liberal, right? believe in freedom of association? >> i do. >> freedom of the spreeof speec? >> i do. i think there are limitations of all of those. >> what do you think about targeting conservatives the way they did? >> i criticized the irs when they targeted naacp, gay groups, women groups. now they are targeting the tea party. >> there was a little bit of scant letter sent out. now 1,000 tea party groups being

the super bowl champion ravens were given an opportunity to visit the white house and meet president obama. when the team casually hung out, my next guest, ravens center, matt burke declined his once in a lifetime invitation for remarks that obama made in support of planned parenthood. >> planned parenthood is not going anywhere, not today, not tomorrow, as long as we fight to make sure that women have access to quality affordable health care and the fight to protect a woman's right to make her own choices about her own health. you also have a president who is going to be right there with you, fighting every step of the way. thank you, planned parenthood. god bless you. >> joining me to explain is matt burke. thank you for being with us. >> thank you for having me. >> a once in a lifetime opportunity.

you got a lot of press. tell us the details. >> i'm pro life, obviously and everyone has to make their own decisions. president obama is obviously pro choice. but think when you invoke the name of god when you are the president and the first president to address planned parenthood, you can't acknowledge god and say god bless planned parenthood. it's a contradiction. 330,000 lives ended last year at planned parenthood. and i just -- being pro choice is one thing, but bringing god into it, that's just -- that's just too much for me to handle. and and i just see much upside in going. >> when he said god bless planned parenthood, that is the remark that got to you. how did your teammates react to all of this? what did they say to you? >> everybody is great with it. we actually had the -- the ravens team is a spiritually

deep team and a lot of guys congratulated me. they were glad that i did what i did. i didn't want to make a big deal out of it. i just declined the invitation and when the team went, some media members noticed that i wasn't there, and they asked why, and i just wanted to -- i just wanted to tell the truth. i wasn't trying to -- my intent was not to make a big statement or a big -- draw a lot of attention to it, but that's the way it's happened. >> i think it was the right stand and i think i might have done the same thing. having the same position as you do. one thing that puzzles me, are you aware that three times as a state senator, that barack obama voted against the born alive infant protection act? >> yes. >> you know what that is, babies that are born after a botched abortion denied medical attention at that point. what -- why do you think that wasn't a bigger issue in the

campaign? >> i think for a while, for whatever reason, abortion has been pushed down the list of priorities and hopefully now is the time to bring it back to the forefront. somebody told me the other day and i don't know if this is true, they said you can't smash sea turtle eggs, those are federally protected, but yet we can end human lives, and i think it's time to take a step back as a society, culture and are we doing here? especially i've been involved in the pro life movement for a few years and met hundreds, maybe 1,000 women who have had abortions and who regret it. and those women are my heroes, for their courage and their strength to join the pro-life movement and try to stop future women from making the same mistake. i have yet to meet a woman that has given birth to their child and said, boy, i wish i would

have had an abortion. >> the sea turtle thing, i'm laughing, only because a friend of mine is a builder in florida. and if a sea turtle lays eggs, all building stops. i want to ask you about tebow. >> i think that, you know, the media has -- the media loves this story and the sports media they love to wear it out and i think that, you know, every player comes with some kin of baggage, especially the superstars and if you are really, really good, teams will put up with it. you know, but in his case, it's -- for some reason, having a hard time landing, but i wouldn't bet against him and with bill belichick, who knows? >> matt, congratulations, appreciate your stand, thank you for being with us tonight. >> my pleasure, thank you.
