♪ >> a live look at the streets of new york. bright and early this morning. a lot of people getting up and joining us. it is a quarter til the top of the hour. here is a look at some of the headlines making news. >> a scam warning to tell you about. thieves are using obama care to steal from seniors. the scammers call people claiming they can be the first to receive insurance cards for the new healthcare law then they ask for their social security number and bank information. experts say the cards aren't even available yet. the government will not be calling people. so don't fall victim to it. investigators believe the most destructive wildfire colorado has ever seen was caused by humans even though the fire is mostly out they aren't letting victims back in their homes because the area is being treated as a possible kreecrime scene. >> they were touted as the cars

of the future. don't hold your breath. brand new information from an analyst shows electric cars like a chevy volt won't achieve affordability until 2020. that's only after a fox credit. >> a congressional budget office analyst is forecasting electric cars still need another 7 years before they are comparable in price to traditional cars only if the government cement that $7,500 tax credit for these vehicles. speaking at the energy information administration's annual conference yesterday ronald beacon says gasoline prices would have to hit $6 per gallon or 12,000 for a car like chevy volt to reach taxi kwifl lent. prices are calling. if tax credits are left in place we will see the gap narrow enough to make their prices competitive. for now even with those credits
