the six-year-old boy that was swallowed up by a sand dune making a miraculous recovery today. now for the first time we are hearing the frantic call for help. >> 911. >> my friend he got stuck in a sand dune and he's under the sand and we can't get him out. my friend and his dad are trying to get him out. >> he was buried under 11 feet of sand. it took more than 3 hours for crews to dig him out. this morning his family is speaking out about the desperate rescue effort. >> my daughter was hysterical. she said, dad, dad, we can't findnathan. he is under the sand. >> nathan was limp when they did get him out of the sunday but amazingly he started breathing on his own on the way to the hospital. his brand father calls it a miracle. he is still in critical condition. doctors removed sand from his lung but they hope he can go home they say in about two
