reported on and were intentionally targeting conservative groups that is outrageous and there's no place for it and they have to be held fully accountable because the irs as an independent agency requires absolute integrity and people have to have confidence that they are applying it in a nonpartisan way, you should feel that way regardless of party. at some point there's going to be republican administrations and democrat administrations, either way, you do not want the irs to be biased in any way they operate. i think people are properly concerned about this. that is what you said when the scandal broke. wait a minute, that was president obama when the scandal broke and now he is saying it's a phony scandal. when it broke, he said there's no place for this. we have to hold people fully accountable. what? what happened between the time that he made the statement and today? >> well -- >> and if -- >> wasn't the story that these were rogue agents and now we see it goes all the way up to the

with him and spitzer at the same time running. it creates a terrible image national. couple weeks ago, i testified before congress right after spitzer was suggesting he would run, i had democratic members coming up saying to me, what is wrong with your city, how do both of the guys run? >> it's interesting, because all of the candidates, the democratic candidates are talking about eliminating all the policies you put in place that lower the murder rate from well over 2,000 the -- >> i mean, i think they are heading us right for detroit. you think babout it, why is new york not detroit? i don't think it could get as bad as detroit, we have more assets than detroit has, right now we don't have agreements with any of the unions. i think they are two, three years old and the city is in difficult fiscal situations, if those unions demand more than they should. you need a mayor that is independent of the unions and

sit down and say, i'm sorry. my first union negotiation, i got a 5-year contract in the first two years was zeros. and i got tremendous grief for that. tremendous demonstrations and anger about it. i did not do it because i wanted to do it. i did it because i had to balance the budget and i got elected independent of the unions. i did not have to go back to them and curry any kind of support from them. >> remember, president obama, this was a big issue in the campaign, you are talking about cities, detroit is now bankrupt, largest city in america, now bankrupt. >> a complete absolute result of complete democratic policies which is what i turned around in new york city. one of the reasons i ran for mayor is i saw a city that was being governed by principals that were heading it for bankruptcy. >> let me show you what and obama were saying on the campaign. watch this. >> when my opponents and others were arguing that we should let

put in prison for sexually assaulting a boy. he is now set to be released and to be living with his parents in vermont. the police alerted the public that all boys between the ages of 12 and 13 with blonde hair and blue eyes should be on alert. he will now not be residing in vermont, the police officials will not say where he is moving to, but they will contact the local authorities. here are the reaction. former l.a.p.d. detective mark furman. and julio, you support this dirt bag that literallily, kidnapped, restrained and assaulted a 12-year-old autistic boy, you support him getting out of jail? >> absolutely. he served his time. he had a sentence that a court deemed appropriate. he had a sentence in which a prosecutor was involved in negotiating. and his time is complete.
