diane is here with more on the story. >> for the typical american dream used to include college bound kids and perhaps most importantly owning a home. a new credit.com poll says for many americans that dream is changing. the survey der rives 1,000 of adults found that most respond 28 percent said the american dream is retiring financially secure in 65 and 23 percent found it as being debt free while owning a home is owning on the list of 18 percent followed by graduating from college and paying off the student loans and joining the 1 percent. those numbers vary big time as you break them down by age group. they were most likely to find it financially secure at 65. when the survey suggests people identify it hoping to be addressed by 3 years.
