resolution and voilths national risk is not at play. and there is too many questions on syria and including the fact that it is utterly detached from the sievele war there. >> russian president offers a transferring control of syria weapons. the house democratic leader said give the president some credit. >> i think what the initiative from the russians has done has given the president a victory. because it has taken and recognized that for two and half years, the president has used and attempted diplomacy to try to have a political solution to what is happenin syria. >> the truth is, the alternative proposal is a huge sigh of relief for democratic members who don't want to risk alienating the liberal base or constituents and voting on

the president tries to declare victory in this, is that no one believed anywhere on the earth that the united states congress was going to authorize the strikes. the president made it clear in saying six different ways that he did not see an immediate threat to the united states security and so that excludes his ability for urgent action. and so the idea the threat of a strike was credible is not credible itself. >> here is the problem, it is obvious. but if he doesn't continue the threat of military strike, where is the impettous for syrian to turn it over. >> it is a russia deal. they have a naval installation and their warm water port and their foot print in the region and russia is offering a protective embrace for the assad regime and the russians

he's courageous or brave are missing the point. that was not matt's intend. it is to convince people not to drink and drive. >> now the fallout. cordle was indicted for aggravated vehicle homicide and he turned himself in and he will be arraigned soon and maximum sentence was eight and half years. it is not working to buy leniency. the prosecutor said he is pushing for the maximum sentence. martha. >> we'll see what happens. >> very interesting story, thank you, mike. >> and so with the launch of president obama's health care exchanges on october 1st, there are new reports that many people who are going to be used to help enrollees are not hired yet. and ohio governor john ca sack taking the bold advances on the issue of food stamp.

turning against assad the president said he had to go. we did nothing but dabbled with the rebels. but never had the balance to tip against the assad regime. if we acqesans. but they never wanted force. they stepped in with a quick diplomatic win and asking for us to take the threat of attack off of the table. i think the president deserves some credibility. whether or not people believe he would strike there is a sense that putin and assad thought he would. they have never acknowledged having the chemical weapons and so the balance in syria will not tip in light of this and likely more to be a continued stalemate and we step back and incoherent

and confusing cross the board. >> you have the forces and al-qaeda linked forces and moderate opposition that is sort of hanging out in the middle and begging for help so they can tip the balance in syria and overthrow assad, they have no help. and then you have assad trying to hang on to power. how do you so the next move on the ground between the opposition forces and who wins that battle? >> it is a great question and they are opposed with the objectives. assad is objective counter fate to sharia. and then the syrian national council that is made up of the muslim brotherhood. it is complicated. and one thing i want to point out is the threat to u.s. homeland security by a military strike. we heard the secretary of state

business network. >> thank you. nthere was a lot of skepticism and how the federal government is hiring all of the people. where are they? and how does someone sign up for one? >> there is a mad scramble to get them hired and trained and the vast majority of them is not hired. we are seeing the department of health and human services gave out approved grants for that on top of in july they put 150 million just to hoir these folks and you look at the companies that have applied for the grants and received them. these are shelters and they are food kitchens. and they are health clinics and they have signed up to train workers and help sign up people. yikes. we haven't hired people and need to get cracking on this and we haven't so far. >> it seemed like a mess. >> every day, there is new

information about different companies that are saying forget it like ibm and time warner. and now add sea world to the list that characterized themselves as part- time hours. and this is what the unions are up in weres. we fought for the 40 hour work week and now it is not going to exist anymore. >> we see the private sector and companies transforming much more quickly. this is comes whether we like it or not. we have share holders and have to deal with our employees. they will see health care costs go up and transition in one case, workers to private exchanges and it is a difference where we used to have defined benefit plan and to where we went to 401 ks. this is what ibm. you go to the private exchange

zimmerman. her 911 call conveyed fear of her husband during yesterday's dispute. they each hit or pushed the other inside the housement . in the end, everyone signed disputes of prosecution. shelly zimmerman stood by her man throughout the murder trial. two weeks ago when she pleaded guilty to perjury, she filed for divorce. yesterday a blond woman was seen with him on the scene talking with him by the trees and sitting with him in his car believed to be george's new girlfriend. their reaction at the end of that 911 call showed they were

14,000 people have cast ballots down here in colorado springs but it's a small number of people, voters, who are deciding this election and the one down in pueblo. a small number of voters who are deciding these elections, although their votes are watched by folks all cross the -- across the country. the recalls in colorado, it's a symbolic litmus state whether politicians can take action on gun control. that is what colorado democrats did. some laws include a law expanding background checks and banning high-capacity magazines. now these two democratic lawmakers are on the ballots and after the grassroots activists got the signatures, this is an allout proxy war. michael bloomberg wrote a check for $250,000 to the two democrats to help them save their seats. probably has given more.
