busted on drug charges last year despite the police saying the abductors were strangers to the family. they are searching for the suspects that took the teen in the middle of the night. >> at 10:00 a.m. eastern the gunman charged the dc headquarters how many years he has been in prison for the plot. floyd lee corkins waudz carrying ammunition and 6 chik-fil-a hamburgers when he opened fire in december. you can see corkins in the lobby he shoots the unarmed security guard but a man quickly tackles the suspect grabbing his gun. they are seeking a 45 year sentence. >> the investigation continues into the shooting death of a former college football player. an attorney for his family says dashcam video shows the unarmed

24-year-old was shot 10 times by an officer. that was a mill second after being ordered to get on the ground. evidences looking for help after crashing his car he knocked on the door of a women's house. the woman got scared and called police. when he ran toward the officer's car he shot fired. he was given several warnings to stop but kept going forward. he faces manslaughter charges. >> i can safely tell you none of us has won the $400 million power ball jackpot. >> can you image? there is one lucky person a multi millionaire this morning. >> a lucky person while you were sleeping a single winning ticket for last night's $400 million power ball drawing was sold in a small town of lexington, south

weekend. >> thank you maria. >> breaking overnight a fireball in the skies of oklahoma forcing evacuations there. a fire broke out in an industrial plant near the town of thomas it was followed by two explosions. there were no workers there on sight at the time. fire officials made a dozen nearby residents leave their houses. there are no reports of any injuries at this hour. we will keep you posted and no word on what caused the fire. >> aaron hernandez alleged accomplices will be in court today. earnest wallace faces an accessory charge in the shooting death of owe den loud. he plead guilty after being indicted last month. wallace and another man were with hernandez when the 27-year-old lloyd was killed. he plead not guilty to murder charges but is being held without bail. >> stocks soared after the fed yesterday and they made the decision yesterday why it made

the shooting case will be able to make objections to the death penalty. the judge on the case ruled earlier this month that these objections were not allowed because the defense team missed the deadline. yesterday reversed that decision. they were not guilty by reason of insanity last year. >> they were not trained for high risk situations and not using lethal force. the report is incomplete and they want more answers on how to fix the problem. ainsley? >> thanks, heather. a new study reveals obese people are less likely to survive cancer. the reason why might be alarming. doctors apparent sloirting them on chemotherapy. the dose is supposed to be based on a patient's size but many doctors base it on ideal weight fearing an obese patient can't handle all of the treatments.

sustained winds at 75 miles an hour. what i think is most significant about this storm system is how slowly it is moving. it is moving at 3 miles an hour toward the north that means a lot of heavy rain is going to sit over the same areas for a long period of time. we are talking possibly two days at least for the storm system to continue to impact parts of new mexico locally 15 inches of rain possible. lower illustrations can be looking at 5-10 inches. mud slides will be a concern and flash flooding. we have another storm system that has the potential to become our next big storm system. we could be looking at more rain coming across portions of new mexico. a lot of uncertainty with that storm system. hot temperatures along with a cold front behind it. already looking cooler in upper midwest. eventually that storm heads east and showers and storms expected ahead of it. it is 39 minutes after the top of the hour.
