do republicans actually want to starve kids, old people and our military? nancy pelosi thinks so. check out her tweet after yesterday's house vote to cut food stamps by $39 billion over ten years. shameful, house republicans voted to take the food out of the mouths of millions of american children, seniors and military families. in the past ten years since 2003, participation in the food stamp program has more than doubled. in terms of cost, it has more than tripled in the past ten years. this bill would prevent lottery winners and college kids from collecting s.n.a.p. or food stamp benefits, allow states to drug test people applying. and this is my favorite one,
