tv The Five FOX News September 21, 2013 2:00pm-3:01pm PDT
2:00 pm
it is 5:00 in new york city and this is "the five." >> obamacare is on everyone's mind and the american people don't like it. according to the latest fox news poll, 60% have an unfavorable opinion of obamacare versus 34% who have a favorable opinion. unions don't like it. >> when the act was put together it wasn't thought completely through. we are working to try to solve problems. >> you allow an aca bill to go through. i guarantee in the next
2:01 pm
convention years from now you won't need a quarter of this room jie. it is clear the aca as it currently stands is not meeting his promise. >> well, conservatives don't like it either. this is one creepy obamacare ad. >> oh. i see you chose to sign up for obamacare. >> yes, it is my first time here. >> okay. let's have a look. >> wow. what can you say about that? >> well, president obama despite opposition from just about every direction still defends it. >> 52% believe the law will raise our health care costs. is everybody wrong? >> yes, they are.
2:02 pm
the problem we have is that over the last four years billions of dollars have been spent misinforming people about what this law is about. all of the horror stories have not come true. it is going to be a good deal and we expect that once it is fully implemented a year from now, two years from now, five years from now, people will look back and say what was the argument about? >> if we could just only understand him properly and when is he going to get the nobel health care prize? do they make that? i'm sure he thinks he deserves it. why won't he listen? >> he is king of the universe. he thinks he is king of the universe. he didn't like it, but used to like it when it was a bill trying to become a law he loved it. they spent a lot of money making sure people would vote for it and support people who voted for. it now he doesn't like it. i think it is interesting that president obama is trying to sell this this way that it is
2:03 pm
working. it is not working by any metric. the cost is double $890 billion was the original cost and now it is $1.8 trillion and we haven't even implemented. premiums are up you at least as fast as they were prior to the health care law bill turning into a law. there is no metric you can say say -- numeric metric that you can say it is working. it is not working. now doctors say we are not taking obamacare. what is working? >> why is it a good thing? why should people buy into it, katie? >> they shouldn't and they are not. that's why they have been panicking about young people not signing up for this. doctors and lawyers are leaving the health care industry. health care providers in the state of maryland have left the state. and it is funny that president obama would say people have spent millions of dollars to talk about the bad things in obamacare. people are simply reading the bill now. the more they find out about it, they don't like it.
2:04 pm
it is not about people telling them and giving them propaganda telling them it is bad. it is people, individuals, moms, dads, teenagers, children, seeing the affects in their home budget and health care when it comes to obamacare and the affects on them. they don't need to have somebody tell them. they feel it in their lives at home. >> it seems like the more people find out about it, the more they are protesting and understanding it. maybe like nancy pelosi said we have to read it and find out what is in it. >> everybody is playing catch up which is the scary nature of the debate. we listened to the media for years about this bill and how great it was. now you listen to the people who are dealing with it are the doctors. to them obamacare is a fatal disease, hazardous to your health and it cuts a decade off your life. nobody in the medical industry sees this as a good thing. you can look at the numbers of
2:05 pm
doctors that are leaving now because they can't see themselves making a livlihood out of this. >> bob i am going to try to back clean up and you may have to take a sip. >> trying to correct this stuff because there is so much information. >> like what? give me one. >> premiums first of of all. a lot of people are benefiting including me. >> you don't sound too good. this is like another commercial. >> your cough is not as bad as obamacare. >> and by the way, my writers are in maryland and they haven't left the state of maryland. you can keep that one and put it back. >> your provider, but other providers. >> why is your provider in maryland if you live here? >> i don't live here. >> he doesn't pay new york. he is maryland. >> do you think people can give me a chance to say something? >> i am just enjoying this. go ahead.
2:06 pm
>> health care insurance industry has been one of the most corrupt, ridiculous insurance -- part of the insurance industry. they have been raising prices every year. you find a year where everyone is down. now they are taking advantage of obamacare. they got outsold and it wasn't -- there was no media trumpet in this. that was ridiculous. it was after this from the beginning. they hit it, they hit it, they hit it with ads and misinformation. people said of course i would rather not have it. >> what have we said that was incorrect? it is the latest cbo estimate. insurance premiums since the health care bill became law have gone up at least at the same pace and you will say everyone is trying to get their premiums up, but it didn't work. jay -- >> it has bt -- has bt -- hasn't been implemented. you don't know what is in it? >> you do? >> i remember when people were
2:07 pm
complaining about medicare and it was a horrible idea and the polls were against it. and it is one of the most popular entitlements we've got. >> this is the whole point of expanding government. if you get it in people get used to it and you can't get them off the drug now that they have the free stuff. you are dealing with an ideology that is so surrounded by those who agree with him it is a moat of intolerance. if you say you are against a program they say you are evil. you need de programming to convince liberals that this is de spuct tiff. >> it is the law of the land. the question is now if you want to make it better, amend it. the idea of the ridiculous facility -- >> you know how you do it? you leave the front page and throw away the rest. >> it is the law of the land. >> i get. it. >> there are ridiculous right wingers who are trying to do away with it. >> you combined obamacare to medicare. you say it is one of the most popular.
2:08 pm
there could be $200 billion of fraud in medicare. $200 billion. you are saying we should do more of that. >> now you want to take away medicare. >> you are basically a junky, a drug dealer. >> i was a junky. >> you are handing something to people and saying here it is. we know you will like it and you are never going to get rid of it. sadly we live in a society that is true. >> the cost of prescription drugs has gone down. >> the profit mar jins of an insurance company are much slimmer than in the new york times. >> let's give bob some more tough medicine to swallow on a friday. let's talk about the cleveland clinic. nobody is losing in i jobs and -- any jobs and this is president obama talking about and praising the cleveland clinic. now the news just came out that they are going to cut
2:09 pm
jobs, part of the $6 billion annual budget to prepare for barack obama's obamacare. >> part of what we want to do is to free doctors, patients, hospitals to make decisions base i had on what is best for patient care. that's the whole idea behind the cleveland clinic. they set up a system where patient care is the number one concern. it is not beurocracy and what forms are to be filled out and what do we get reimbursed for. >> first of all they are taking a cut and it is not directly related to obamacare. >> that's incorrect. did you hear the statement? >> i heard you read a statement. >> those are the facts. >> you are not going to get rid of the obamacare. there are two things that have to get done. one is sell insurance across state lines and they ought to
2:10 pm
have tort reform. if we can do those two things. >> the problem is the president hasn't been able to make the case. >> he doesn't have to. high has the law. he has the law. >> nobody wants it. >> the senate republicans have to make that case. they say if it is in fact the law of the land and we have to deal with this because obama will never sign it away, they have to throw things. good idea. make insurance saleable and commerce friendly across the state lines. those are things that maybe would make some senate republicans or maybe even house republicans get on board with it. >> they also have to win the war of words when it comes to the law of the land. why is president obama continuing to delay obamacare and just going and writing the law on a whim, we will delay this portion, but not for individuals, the people who it is hurting the most, but the
2:11 pm
big corporations. you why aren't they in more full force saying the guy who claims to be for the little guy and the middle class just gave a huge obamacare break which is a tax by the way to these big corporations and not only now are you losing your health care if you look for one of these corporations who are dumping these people into the system now obama wants you to foot the bill while you no longer have health insurance. >> nobody believed they would care one way or the other about the middle class. >> the difference between rich and poor under obama is worse than it has been. >> there is a bigger disparity. >> well, the middle class is shrinking. >> under obama. >> but there is no jobs for the middle class. >> it is because they are moving up the ladder. >> it is because -- is that right? >> the middle class is falling
2:12 pm
to the middle class. >> i think there is at least that much or more in the military budget. you guys will go fall flat over and they are all heros heros and we will get whatever they want. gyro man candle, lit up. -- roman candle, lit up. >> here is the whisper on the street. home depot, one of the biggest employers in america, home depot may be laying people off because of obamacare. >> i read that. >> you did read that? and you are still in favor? >> absolutely. >> the goal is to get people to jump into obamacare and guess what now that we have the cleveland clinic and all of these clinics closing and the doctors retiring early, there will be no more options left except for the obamacare system which will go to the single pair. that will that will roll back health care.
2:13 pm
>> just before you get me lit up on the military thing, i am not talking soldiers, i am talking about the systems they have that are bloated and they don't need them. even the military does president want them. >> it is a victory when people start unloadin employees. in long-term what obama will do is it will create two classes. the first class and what bob referred to coach as steerage. you will have congress and you can have unions and the rich and they will all get great health care. the rest are going to be in the back with the goats and the chickens. that's what happens. >> they will be insured. >> the palm who -- >> they don't need it. and they are paying for it. >> you can probably put this together better than i can, but obamacare is titanic and
2:14 pm
jack is the steerag and everybody is being pushed into the steerage. >> only kate winslet will survive. >> will your insurance be different? >> i don't know. >> that's the point. >> we will council you on the health care. >> there is a lot of misinformation. >> it is getting heated on a friday. >> they texted it to him. >> directly ahead on "the five" another violent night in chicago. 13 shot including a 3-year-old boy. is anyone looking out for the people who are living in these communities? we will analyze it. 1k3 it is facebook friday. it is the current event edition. we want to answer your questions at least some of them. go to facebook and ask a way.
2:18 pm
2:19 pm
this is not rare there. the same people who scream about gun control after a horrible mass shooting are awol in these cases. both atrocities suck, but one gets a spotlight and the other crickets. there are way more victims of daily gang shootings, but they are forgotten by the media and political classes because it is easier to condemn a phantom rifle than gangs where you escape truths about besieged communities plagued by thuggry and coward december. by ignoring the numbers in new york we become sitting ducks, targets at a fairground that is anything but fair. is it a coincidence that since the stop and frisk law was ruled unconstitutional in new york, shootings rose 13% as the gun seizures dropped 17%? weird. perhaps the police reduced frisking for fear of legal hassles that em bolden criminals to pack the heat. look at the communities where the stop and frisk is used.
2:20 pm
ending stop and frisk is a racist dream. meanwhile new york has appointed professors to review police behavior. i doubt they see the numbers, and it is doubtful anyone willisen if there is no microphone nearby to boost a career, why bother? >> i like it. >> speaking of microphones this is a press conference, the super inen it dent of chicago police talking about it last night. >> based on bough mystics evidence at the scene and information and intelligence from the scene we believe the weapon used was an assault-style rifle with a high capacity magazine. based on evidence this appears to be a gang-related shooting. that by no means justifies or lessens the seriousness or the nature of this particular event. >> this is an interesting
2:21 pm
statistic. they call chicago the murder capital of the world. they have had 500 murders and compared to new york's 419. new york is three times the size. they would have to have a thousand more murders. >> it is another way of saying the murder rate is triple the new york murder rate. the police chief said it is an assault-style whip they believe and the gangs have them. the gangs have the assault weapons and they want to take the people who want to defend themselves from the high powered weapon. >> it is illegal to have an assault rifle. >> the stop and frisk hasn't gone away. the cops can still stop and frisk, but they have a different standard to adhere to when they make the stops. it has only been a month. it may be a statistical error. >> i think it is significant
2:22 pm
enough to take note and i am not surprised. if i had to bet my last dollar the numbers with going to continue to rise. >> don't bet your last dollar. >> i am going with it. having participated in the law enforcement investigations, the criminals, the perpetrators know. they pay attention and it is to the point new york corrects itself. >> if you ban stop and frisk the police is strictly there to wait until after a crime is committed which is what you see in chicago and in detroit. >> can we put this a little in perspective? in chicago there has been a seven-year gang war over territories of the these things are gang-related and the assault weapons are illegal, but it is not like new york where you have gangs fighting over drug territory. it is like a war. i want to give the chicago police a lot of credit. they did the best they could, but they are fighting gangs
2:23 pm
members who are highly profitable. you have a difficult time doing something with that. >> the problem with that is, look, the police have been there and they tried everything they can. you have had a couple people come in and talk about why gangs are bad. unless people can help themselves they are never getting out of it. the gang war will never end unless you can allow them to protect themselves and fight back. it won't happen with the gun control they have. here is a staw staw ties stick. statistic. african-americans between 15 to 20, the primary cause of death is by gunfire. the majority occur in chicago. it is gang-related, but it also has to do with the idea where seeking a prosecution chicago is dead last when it comes to prosecuting gun crimes. guess what that does? let me finish. when criminals are not prosecuted for gun crimes they don't get input into the background check system that
2:24 pm
everyone claims to love. and then they go forward and quit more crimes. if they are even using guns they purchased legally which they are not. you have to let the community police themselves. >> explain how people want to defend themselves. do you give them guns ? >> if they want one. >> outside of dc chicago has the most stringent gun control laws in the country and how is it working out for them? >> in dc they get them from virginia. >> the criminals will always have them. you are just preventing law abiding people from getting them. the murder rate is five times the national rate. >> they have had low murder rates. >> and there you go. >> what i don't understand is how can advocates go after the
2:25 pm
nra and not gapings? >> i go after gangs all the time. >> you sh ru g saying oh it is just gangs. >> they are doing the best they can. >> what would you do about gangs? >> i would aggressively prosecute those people who have the guns. >> they aren't enforcing the law. these guys are getting out. when we get back you might have questions and we probably have answers. facebook.com/the 5fnc. go there and ask about the hottest current event topics. our facebook free for all is up next.
2:30 pm
all right. it is time for one of our most popular segments, facebook friday. today we changed it all-around. it is the current events edition. five questions for all five of us. here we go. the first one. cheryl s asks, where is wall dough, i mean joe biden with the scandals? there have been next to no blunders? where are they hiding him? bob? >> well, let me just say this used to be a fun segment. now we have turned it into the obama administration series of questions. the answer is he is in mexico and meeting with the president of mexico to talk about trade. >> all right, let's go on to
2:31 pm
the next one. by the way, i agree. sonya s asks what do you think of the new epa clause -- >> oh here is new one. >> i think the epa laws are exactly what president obama said there would be. it is to necessarily sky rocket all of the electric bills for regular evidence people. regular everyday people. even though people can comply with them, and it will ban coal -- not ban, but run the coal plants into the ground. >> let me say that obama is single handedly destroying -- >> get out of here. >> under president obama's watch, -- these are the biggest coal companies in america walter energy is down 26% and ash of coal down 71% james riff down 85% -- james river is down 85%. he is destroying the coal industry. >> he gave america a coal-onoscopy. >> good one.
2:32 pm
ed b says what happens if syria does not turnover the weapons of mass destruction list in time? >> this is sad, but the answer is absolutely nothing. right now we don't have any kind of enforcement capability so we can ask them very politely and hope they comply and do the right thing. i don't have much faith they will do that or comply within the time frame specified. kerry has strong rhetoric on it, but that's it at this point. >> all right. >> i want to cut the rest of the segment. we have turned this into an anti--obama thing. >> amanda t says the presidents of iran and the u.s. may meet, but personally i think it is interesting. that was from amanda. >> let me get greg in here. >> i think president obama is
2:33 pm
very lonely. brazil, remember brazil? canceled a dinner with obama. nobody can sells a state dinner. he is looking for people to hang out. if this was a movie with the president it would be called desperately seeking stature. >> the last time he met in this capacity was jimmy carter and then the iranian hostage crisis happened. yon it will go well. >> i am going to break my -- >> oh, oh, oh wait a minute. >> you think there is a problem with talking with people? that's good. >> did you like his "washington post" column? did you read the iranian column? it is called the first amendment. >> they have that in iran? >> they may not have it in russia. >> let's get another owe -- obama question. >> i am 43 years old and the
2:34 pm
incomes went below what i paid in high school for gas. what are we going to do? >> get rid of obama and do everything you can to blowout the door. let's do everything we can to get rid of obama. let's make this another bash obama segment. >> okay. we can invest in more programs like sylindra. >> when president obama took over gas was $1.93. joy he said -- >> i know when he graduated high school now. >> where is nancy pelosi with her press conferences in front of the gas stations demanding he do something. i remember she did that with president bush and now she is silent. when you have the cost of everything go up guess who it hurts? the middle class. >> let's impeach obama and get the dogs out of the white house and get some right wing whaco nut in there. >> i wouldn't go that far, but improve a pipeline here and
2:35 pm
there. >> get some jobs. >> might be nice. >> just impeach him. we should impeach this whole segment. >> too late because it is done. >> you will hear from our producers, you shouldn't be dumping on your own show. well i am. >> you just said that out loud. >> all righty. thanks for your questions. >> oh fun, facebook friday. >> boy, that was fun. >> impeach obama! right now! they are making some wild accusations. >> get rid of bo! >> that's next on the five. >> bob is losing it.
2:40 pm
>> all right, well do republicans actually want to star of -- stave kids and old people and our military? she wants to cut food stamps by $39 billion over 10 years. shameful house republicans just voted to take food out of the mouths of millions of american children, seniors, veterans and military families. so let's take a look at some of the numbers here. in the past 10 years since 2003, participation in the food stamp program has more than doubled. in terms of the cost it has more than tripled in the past 10 years. this would prevent lottery winners winners and college kids from collecting food stamp benefits and allow states to drug test people applying and people receiving food stamp benefits and this is my favorite one, would prevent convicted violent
2:41 pm
rapists and murderers for apply forget food stamp benefits. do you think people who won the lottery should be eligible? >> obama would be -- this is another problem with obama. you just can't have this. you can't have a guy that is going to be president of the united states and will see food stamps come out and all of the corruption. let me just put it this way. one thing i will say. they are cutting food for kids and for active duty personnel in the military and that's all you need to know about republicans. it smells like republican and looks like republican and it is republican. they have never seen a program. >> can you just point something out. in the last five years, the food stamp program is doubled. forget the number in 10 years. five years it is double. what the republicans are proposing is $40 billion over 10 years. that's $4 billion a year. we spend $100 billion -- it is a 4% cut back from the high
2:42 pm
number. five years ago it was way down here. it cuts a little off the top so people can't by porn and liquor. >> that's what they do, the old people go out and buy porn and liquor. >> on a serious note there is a lot of fraud in the food stamp program. so, greg, don't you think it is good to take a look at the cost of the fraud and get rid of it through the basic criteria in the bill? >> wherever there is government there is fraud because it is not the government's money. it is our money. they don't look at it as anything to watch over. if it was their money they would feel differently. i want to go back to the central theme which is demonization of the government. it appeals to the child intau elect of liberals. it is like a drug dealer tells a kid, don't listen to your mother and father. they are mean. hang out with me. have some stuff. smoke this.
2:43 pm
that is what liberals do. they tell you that anybody that has some kind of authorize tear yen belief is evil and somebody that gives you something is good. it influences society and it gets people hooked on free things for life. >> but the problem is that the liberals are very good at messaging and convincing them that republicans are evil and they want to hurt old people and children and they want to take away your food stamps. i am all for rooting out corruption and abuse. and there is a lot of abuse. there is room for improvement here and to make sure we take lean cuts that make sense. ultimately i feel the middle class will be the beneficiary of that. >> i am willing to look at all of the budgets. >> okay, fine. if we impeach obama we wouldn't have these problems. >> the problem with the over spending and the fraud and not looking at things like the $40 billion when you over spend you don't have money for emergencies and you don't have money to help the middle class and the poor people who need
2:44 pm
it. i think these reforms are probably a good thing. eric? >> 5 years ago it is it is also 33 billion and approaching $100 billion. we can't cut $4 billion 6 off that -- we can't cut $4 billion off that number. >> what was the military budget last year? >> it was big. coming up, a new twist in the story of the teens who trashed the home of a former nfl star causing thousands of dollars of damage. their parents are angry at him. bob will explain why after the break.
2:48 pm
at least the music is good today. now an update on a story we told you about yesterday. parents of the hundreds of teens who broke into and trashed former nfl star brian holloway's upstate new york vacation home might sue him for naming their kids on twitter and saying it might spoil their chance of getting into college. but that is not how the former patriots offensive tackle sees it.
2:49 pm
>> all of the things that could be fixed and the things stolen can be returned. there are 300 lives at stake and parents are upset at me. i said i didn't put this up there. your child was at my house breaking and destroying stuff and you are going to get mad at me because i just put what they put up? this is happening across the country. the most important thing is how to take a moment and turn it into a movement because all parents need to educate themselves as to what is really going on and what their children are talking about and to be able to have a response to it and teachers too. >> i think before they should worry about them going to college they should worry about them going to prison. this is what happens when you have an environment run by liberals. it is a permissive thing. >> finally. >> andpresident has allowed people to break in and do all kinds of stuff. they should put their names and ages on the front page of the newspaper. if i were a college, don't take them. >> so this interview was on this morning on fox and
2:50 pm
friends. we are getting my son getting ready to go to school. i stopped and pointed this out. i put myself in those parents -- a parent of one of those 300 kids in that house. i have to tell you, if he was there i would want holloway to post his name and i would want him to get punished for this. it is parents that go easy on kids that do crap like that are rubinning -- ruining it for their kids. even if they get into college they will go down the wrong path after college. i stand up and applaud holloway for this. >> and it is not popular to call out these kids and the parents are yelling at you. he is do doing the right thing. if these parents held their kids responsible and educated them, it would be one of those entitlement types that expect the job and wine about it and going to stay at home with their parents because they were never held accountable or show responsibility or respect for other people and personal property and belongings because they haven't worked hard to understand the value of a dollar. >> it is that entitlement society.
2:51 pm
when you were trashing houses, did you ever get in trouble for it? >> you raise a good point. i will confess there were wild times, but there was no internet so we never posted pictures. parents, if you can find the kids, you can find the parents. i say organize a moving rave and go throw parties at the kids' parents' house. do it on their front lawn. let them experience it. >> you think that these people can't be serious by suing him? >> no, they probably are. he is right about talking about this culture of this happening across the country. it happens all over the country. we see this in high schools a lot. my father is a high school teacher and the parent doesn't want to hold the kid accountable. they hold the teacher and the school accountable for what they do. public humiliation is the best way to go. their names thob -- should be plastered everywhere and doing community service. >> they can sue him. these kids posted these pictures and public them in the public dough -- domain. fat chance. these kids are little criminals and ?ot nosed. they should be punished and
2:52 pm
2:56 pm
>> yesterday we covered how pat say jack of "wheel of fortune" denied a man of wining a puzzle because of a pronunciation mistake. let's roll that to remind people. >> i am going to solve. corner kuro cabinets. >> lewis. >> i will solve. rn coulder cur -- corner curio cabinets. >> unbelievable. i contacted pat sajack and he got back to me. as a clear thinking conservative you understand the value of rules. we enforce them not to deprive people of winnings, but to be fair to players past, present and future. it is easy to say let him have it and there would be no game. finally, gutfeld, resist the seem station to trash me on the air. i am an icon and a living ledge legend, if you will.
2:57 pm
one more word from me and it will be called "the four." it is not fair that you hide behind ideology when it is you that hates america. i would say you need to buy a vowel, but sir, you need to bay heart. i like how they show the picture of the couple. >> and moving on to other things . >> on a happier note. i want to wish a happy birthday to my dad and my brother. dad's birthday is this weekend and brother is next week and they are both named paul. >> how cool. >> they are outdoing manly things. -- out doing manly things. happy birthday dad and brother. >> happy birthday. >> very good. >> so tomorrow a really, really hot cashing in. we will debate the starbucks ceo and his second amendment -- attack on the second amendment. >> if you have a -- if you carry a license and you carry a gun there is a starbucks and
2:58 pm
a dunkin donuts, but i can go to either, but i will go to dunkin donuts. >> when you think of starbucks you don't think conservatives. you think of young yuppies and liberal people. he thinks this is probably good for his brand, right? >> 11:30 tomorrow morning eastern. great show tomorrow. >> i thought you did that live that show. okay maybe you didn't. >> the myth has been dispelled. >> this is an important month, folks. this is the honor yoga. i am a major proponent of. as you all remember i did this in time square. there i am having a great time. i can tell you that the women who are beautiful, the people were healthy, except for me. i encourage you to do yoga do the dipping dog. >> downward. >> do the downward dipping dog. >> you just were out there and
2:59 pm
trying to pick up on women and remember that? >> and then a guy got mad saying i was trying to pick up his wife. well, tough luck because i did. >> i think they will yank your yoga card. >> it is obama's fault for sure. >> so i have a very special birthday today, that i want to acknowledge. my sweetheart answerly -- ansley that is us at a geraldo function. and that is us on the bus without make up and riding public transportation. >> wow, you are one of us. >> is that a kneeing -- is that 5* neglegie show you were doing? >> no. i am proud to call her my friend. check her out at 5:00 a.m. on fox and friends. it is a great way to start your day, don't you think, bob? >> i couldn't agree with you more. >> impeach! >> if she impeached obama you wouldn't have to worry. >> you wouldn't have to ride the bus.
3:00 pm
>> exactly. exactly. all of our problems would be solved. that's it for us five. thanks for watching and have a great weekend. see back here on monday. "special report" is next. >> welcome to a new hour of inside america's news headquarters. glad you could join us. i am arthel-nevil. we are near a possible shutdown between the president and opponents. we go now live -- we will go live to washington. and millions are in the path of a huge typhoon. we will go to our extreme weather center for the latest on the monster storm that is set to directly slam one of the most populated places on the planet. and have you heard about it? the iphone frenzy. yes, yes, yes. conser
