possibly from minnesota a area that has a large population of people from somalia. it shows all is quite but amid reports of people still hearing random shots of gun fire kenyan forces say the mall is now secure that after killing three suspected terrorists. they released a statement on twitter saying we have taken control of all of the floors. we are not here to defeat the attackers with pastries but to finish and punish. kenyan authorities say some of those attackers were from the united states. >> they are young men between maybe 18 and 19. >> of some molly othsomali orig? >> (inaudible) >> the state department says it cannot confirm americans were

thursday's mass shooting at chicago park make their first appearance. it is blaefed the two suspects including one known to be a gang member helped transport the weapon fired into a crowd watching a basketball game. 13 people were injured. the youngest victim a 3-year-old boy is still in the hospital but is making a fast recovery. a former fbi agent agrees to plead guilty to leaking secret information about a foiled bomb plot to the associated press. as the story led to the investigation and seizure of phone records. investigators used those words to find him. he had already been under investigation in a separate child porn case and agreed to plead guilty to those charges as well. he faces up to 12 years in prison for both crimes. >> we are hours away from president obama addressing a general assembly about iran's

nuclear program. but the more important meeting could take place after his speech. president obama might meet with the new iranian president before he makes his debut on the world stage. however congressional leaders are urging president obama to stand his ground with iran. the white house still hasn't ruled out a meeting. but on thursday secretary of state john kerry will meet with iran's foreign minister to discuss iran's nuclear policy. these will be the highest level talks between the u.s. and tehran since 1979. >> will woch at tman at the cen the irs scandal is going to collect a on your dime. she pledded the 5th. you may remember that. lerner led the charge to unfairly scrutinize the tea party. lerner's retirement comes before a congressional review board was to suggest she be fired.
