welcome back to welcome back to "hannity." it is another example of crony capitalism and it has to do with the obama care website and michelle obama. according to a report in the daily call, quote, first lady michelle obama and her princeton classmate whose company received the no-bid contract to build the health care.gov obama care website were both members of a black student organization that caused a tense scene on campus by inviing a plo leader who advocated for terrorism.
10:48 pm
michelle obama '85 and her classmate tony towns whitly from cgi federal were both students at the university when the group's organization of black university i and the third world center engaged in a confrontation with jewish students on campus. here with that story and author of "things that matter" number one on amazon.com as we speak is dr. charles krauthammer. congratulations on what is a fantastic book. i have enjoyed every page. >> thanks, sean. i appreciate that. >> by the way, i love the fact that you gave a speech one day and told the story about me and all the years we had known each other. go ahead. you can mock me on national tv. >> i don't mock you. you know, i'm always surprised that you are upset by that. >> i am. >> it's the most charming story. you know i told it again on the special that brett baier did. i said sean doesn't really like it but it is a wonderful story.
10:49 pm
it just shows. i like it because it shows how i haven't made this fact that i'm in a wheelchair sort of the center of my life. and the fact that you weren't aware of it, i thought was lovely. it was a way to compliment you. >> listen. it's a friendly story that we have between the two of us. the story was inspiring. the special was fantastic. it reminds us that think we have problems, everybody has problems. some people are struggling with incredible things and your ability to overcome, i found inspiring. thank you. >> one of the things i realized is having spent seven years in medicine and three years in hospital medicine which is a sea of suffering and i write about this in the introduction gives you an appreciation of what real suffering is. i come to the conclusion that everybody has their cross to bear. everybody knows a family member. the only difference is in some people you can see it. in some people you can't. that's the only thing that distinguishes us.
10:50 pm
>> those that don't know, you are a trained psychiatrist. if you ever start analyzing some of the on-air personalities on tv, i think we are all in trouble. really. >> actually, you should think of me, sean, as a psychiatrist in remission. doing very well. haven't had a relapse in 25 years. >> that's like a congressman saying former, ex, i'm in rehab now. >> right. >> what do you make of this story? this was a no-bid contract, a lot of money beyond the normal procedures. then we have the connection to
10:51 pm
michelle obama, fairly radical connection. what's your reaction? >> look, i don't want to judge who was doing what with this on the basis of this. it is clear one of the reasons the rollout is a disaster is because the whole damn thing was done with no bid. when you think about that in the context of the federal government, think of solyndra, the entire boondog gle with the green energy economy that obama care tried to create out of nothing with federal money. it is an intrinsic part of the great entitlement state that thinks it can do anything on its own, take over a sixth of the economy with health care. create out of nothing a green economy at a time when history and the market have said it's not ready. it is always true that it will be riddled with cronyism because
10:52 pm
it is all the decisions made not on the basis of the market but on the basis of what. that's where the corruption sets in. >> everything that was told to the american people as the president sold this, everything -- i can't think of one thing that's not -- it's all turned out not true. the average family isn't saving $2500 a year. people aren't keeping their plan. they were told if they liked it they could keep it. the cost is not $900 billion. everything the roll out would be easy. nothing is true. what is the political fallout and what should republicans do for the consumers experiencing heartache? >> when the other guy is committing suicide, get out of the way. i have always thought the reality of obama care which you saw coming, i saw coming, the whole conservative movement saw coming, and talked about it and
10:53 pm
wrote about it for five years now, it is all coming true. the facts speak much stronger than anything. this could be a setback for the entitlement state and the arrogant liberal ideas that could set them back for a decade. and they know it, which is why they are terrified. >> i agree with that. and for the sake of america, i hope it gets stopped. because it's going to wreak a lot of havoc and suffering. charles, congratulations on the book. loved it, loved the special. and thanks for being with us. >> pleasure. >> coming up next, a heart warming update for you. a story we brought to you last week about the obama care operator who was fired after i called her on my radio show. and we're going to explain all of it right after the break. we have a good ending to the story to share with you. . could save you fifteen percent or more on car insurance. mmmhmmm...everybody knows that.

10:59 pm
it's -- you'll be starting pretty soon, right? >> yes, sir. >> are you happy? >> i am. i'm just i'm frying to take all this in at one time. >> and it's close to your home? >> yes. it's not too far from my kids as well. >> so it's a better -- it's better all the way around for you? in other words, you're in a better position than you were? >> yes, sir, i am. >> and isn't this more of a career -- do you have more of a career track here? like you could really work here for many, many years and have a good job? >> yes, sir, i can. >> so it's a much better job than you had? is that a fair statement? >> yes, sir. >> yeah? >> you know, i'm really happy for you. >> thank you. i want to thank you so much, too as well. >> on top of that, she said she's going to use the money for a college fund for her two children. she's got better benefits, a career path, retirement, close to home. and i want to thank everybody in the panama city area, all of you who wrote us, all of you who gave letters of support.

it meant a lot to us. as always, thank you for being with us. start each and every morning 5:00 to 9:00, fox and friends right here on the fox news channel. see you back here tomorrow night. this is a fox news alert. it is official. the obama administration just announcing it is granting a six week extension until march 31st for americans to sign up for obama care and avoid penalties. now, the extension was expected since h.h.s. said they planned to do it as technical problems continue to plague the web site. also tonight, many young americans, they are laughing at obama care. so what makes you think they would buy insurance on the exchanges if they are busy laughing at it and, if they don't, you tell me, where are we going to get the money? >> we're probably just overloaded with traffic, millions of americans are visiting healthcare.gov, which is great news. unfortunately, the site wa
