>> good halloween afternoon to you and yours. first from fox at 3:00 from the fox necessary deck. police say a group of thieves wearing halloween masks robbed an armored car in fifths and got away with more than $300,000. i happened as the armored car was parked outside a bank. the thieves dumped the getaway car outside a anybody school and then took off in another vehicle. a witness says the men seemed to have planned the robbery and it was all over within seconds. police and fbi have been searching for evidence and now they're looking for suspects. let's get to a reporter for our station wtxf, fox in philadelphia, who is live this afternoon. what's the latest there? >> reporter: the fbi now says they're looking for four suspects. witnesses say they were wearing halloween masks and carrying

tech 9 semi-automatic machine pistols when they held up an armored car driver in the northeast section of philadelphia. in ten seconds they grabbed money off a hand cart, forced the guard to the group. jumped in a green plymouth voyager and took off down franklin avenue. they ditched the car a half mile from here in a neighborhood. residents saw four or five men running from the vehicle, wearing black hooded sweatshirts, and ran to another vehicle which we're told is a pontiac boston veil and sped away. the fbi agents have been scouring the bank, nearby businesses for surveillance video, and they have been in the neighborhood where there are a number of homes with private surveillance cameras. they're looking for video of the suspects, possibly without the masks, leaving the scene. over $310,000 stolen. the guard was okay. witnesses who spoke with him say, this isn't the first time he has been held up. he was shook up but he was not

injured. no one at the bank was injured. neighbors in the area where they ditched the car, say they were just glad the weren't out on the street when these guys dumped the getaway car and headed up the block to a second getaway car. tonight, again, fbi says they're looking for four suspects, possibly wearing masks, with tech 9 semi-automatic machine pistols. 3 $0,000 in cash taken in this armored car heist. >> a lot of loot on halloween. thankthanks very much. >> for the second time in a month a person supposed to help us in the air. it happened on a delta flight from detroit. the marshal was off-duty at the time, hitching a ride. according to a felony complaint

he was sitting next to the teenager, and chatted her up during the flight. the girl says she fell asleep and woke up to feel the pilot's hands reaching underneath her. he claims this was an accident. this comes after the arrest of a federal air marshal, accused of using a cell phone to take pictures up the skirts of women flyers. what did the teenager say the pilot did? >> reporter: according to the criminal complaint, the girl says she was sitting in the window seat, and the traveling pilot was in the center cincinnati and that she had put a blanket over her lap and she fell asleep. at one point she woke up and found that the arm seat divider between them was up and his hand was under her buttocks, near her inner thigh, and she says she elbowed him and said, what the hell are you doing? she said the suspect answered,

i'm sorry, i'm sorry, i was asleep. i have to use the bathroom. the girl told the fbi he was clearly awake with eyes open. she called for a flight attendant who moved her to another seat. the victim originally thought the guy was, quote, nice, because he helped her get a blanket because he was on crouches. the judge released the pilot on one condition, he can't leave the state of utah. he can't come into contact with the victim and has to undergo mental health evaluations and has to be back in court in two weeks. >> what are we getting from the pilot? >> we reached out to his attorney, and his defense attorney is still getting back to us. he did tell the "associated press" that pascal is shocked he was charged, he really did fall asleep, and any touching was inadvertent. you michiganed the federal marshal case.

he has been removed from duty after he was arrestedded for taking cell phone pictures under women's skirts as they were boarding a southwest airlines flight in nashville. the tsa is investigating that case. >> live in denver, thanks. now a warning going out to thousands of patients that their personal information may be part of a huge tax scam. it's the latest example of a booming type of fraud, one that could cost a -- all of us a lot of money. most of the victims were patients of the orange county health department in florida. investigators came across a hand written list of names, patients who were targets of the scam. patients' personal info was storm, which the scammers used to submit fraudulent tax returns. when the government sent out refund checks, investigators say

the crooks pocketed the cash. this is nothing new in the sunshine statement florida has the highest rate of this type of scam, but it seems a refund fraud is becoming a bigger threat for all of us. tax scammers last year tried to steal $6.5 billion from up suspecting victims, according to the irs. phil keating is live. do prosecutors -- florida health department workers. do they know if prosecutors were in on this or what's the story? >> reporter: they're think can that possibly the former health department workers, who according to the federal complaints, have already boned out, charged with multiple count of embezzlement and fraud. they're still hunting for other potential co-con pierer toes out there. -- coconspirators out there. according to the complaint, smith, a health support tech, and jerald williams, who worked in the immunization program,

accessed 2,000 patients' names birth debts, and social security numbers, while on the job, at work, violating the trust of their job, in many cases taking cell phone camera photos of the personal information, then selling it to williams' brother, del rey duncan, getting paid five grand for every ten to 20 i.d.es. duncan then sold them for tanya fox, who filed 3500 bogus tax returns with the treasury department departmenting the cash into two dozen different bank accounts in her names and ail yets. in thicks tax fraud scheme, these people at the state health department targeted specifically patients patients who had visited the clinics who were ages 17, 18, 19, because people that young would be less likely to file for a tax refund, therefore listening the i.d. have to's chances of getting caught.

>> what are they doing to keep this from happening again? >> as of yesterday the state health department started issue ago 2,000 security breach notices around the state, trying to contact the patients turn victims, by telephone, e-mail, and snail mail. in house fixes, the department spokeswoman says they have limited access by employees to the personal information, social security numbers, and birth debts, and names of their patients, and also they have modified their computer software so that social security numbers now appear blurred out or masks so they're unreadable by the health depth worker. ins so florida, i.d. theft and tax fraud are an epidemic, specifically south florida, brother. a miami cop was accused 60 stilling data from driver's

license records to commit fraud. >> more disturbing reports just coming into the fox necessary duck of body parts reportedly found at a water treatment plant in the los angeles area. this is the third incident of this kind in the past week. the local abc station, abc 7 for the southland, and our network news service affiliate, now reporting that on monday, the torso of a woman's body was found the county water plant in industry, and that matched the foot, calf, and other remains found in a water treatment plant in carson, carson, california, on saturday. this is all in the l.a. area. now investigators -- we're getting word from the locals that they found more body parts in that same facility in carson, california, outside los angeles. some video has come into us from there. a chopper is flying overhead but they're have something transmission problems. in the past they told us that the two sets of remains were

just when you thought you heard everything there is to know about traffic tickets, this violation may be the first of its kind. cops ticketed a woman for driving with glasses, google glasses. not standard eyewear. google glass is a computer that you wear on your face. you can take pictures, record videos, surf the internet, like a hands-free smart phone on your eyeline there. the woman says an officer pulled her over for speeding and also gave her a ticket for sporting this knee high-tech specs. the charge read driving with monitor visible to driver, and then notes, google glass. according to california law drivers cannot have certain video screens in the front seat. gps devices are fine but google glasses not so much.

it doesn't take into consideration your ipad. i use my ipad for navigation. i don't use my navigation, because i loveliesenning to siri. she tells me everything to do. if i bring her into the front seat with me and she is telling me what to do, i can get a traffic ticket. the statute is not keeping up, many statutes across the country, are not keeping up with technology. you'll see this ticket dismissed. i watched the videos of this device and it's clearly as distracting as texting when driving. >> the thing about google glasses it sits up above your eyeline. on your car you might have a heads-up display. gives you the miles-per-hour, maybe the temperature outside. >> exactly. >> if you stare at it all the time and don't take your eyes off it, chances are you're going to wreck. that's the same with this thing.

fay had a great season, played a great series, just got beat up in bean town. the boston red sox are champions of major league baseball. the feds are reviewing the death of a teenager in georgia. in the cops say his body turned up inside a rolled-up gym mat. we blurred the photo of the crime scene. investigators call it a freak accident. they say this 17-year-old climbed head-first into the wrestling matt to get a sneaker out of there and suffocated along the way. his family hired a private pathologist who says johnson clearly died after somebody hit him in the face, and he had a heart attack. relatives say they suspect a possible coverup in the middle of all this because sometime between the first autopsy and the body's burial, somebody reportedly removed his organs

and stuffed his body with newspaper. john roberts works for the seethe bureau and is live in atlanta. the u.s. attorney now on the case. is that right? >> the u.s. attorney is on the case, and there's been a lot of developments moving quickly in this case, after nine months of not much going on. surveillance tape that was ordered released by a judge yesterday, we're seeing some of that come in now. more to come in the next few days. an attorney for the sheriffs department says don't expect a smoking gun. then this idea that the u.s. department of justice is now looking into the case. that's a big step forward for this family. the sheriff insisted this was a tragic accident, when he slipped into the mat family never bough, particularly after the second autopsy that showed he had pooling of blood under this jaw. they believe he was murdered, then rolled up in the wrestling mat, and that local authorities

attorney, crump. these people have had to kick and scream and fight, hold rallies for nine months, and finally today are seeing something being done about looking into the investigation of the death of their son. >> between the death and the burial, somebody took out the organs and stuffed the body with newspaper. never heard of anything like that. >> i feel that is indicative of a hate crime. i don't think what do be more indicative of a hate crime. somebody trying to send a message. this is just suspicion once my part but who has heard of such a thing. and the idea that the sheriff locally in a predominantly white community, did not look at the evidence. apparently they moved the body, not only that they ignored blood smears near the body on the wall and said it was not related to the incident, and the blood pooled on the floor, they left the sneaker. the thing was not handled property from jump, and they want to say, this has nothing to do with race.

people. so that's negligent. -- significant. and the republicans quoting a story, if you go back to the federal register in june of 20 10. officials posted comments about the new law which had just been signed into law, that suggested it would not just be a hit to individual insurance plans but disruption of employer, based health plans and we may see people being dropped there. so that would change the narrative again negatively for the administration, because it would be a bigger personal of people, it would include people who have insurance through their employer, which the white house says you'll be fine if you're in that category. this report from 2010 says there may be a bumpy road as well. the'm white house chief of staff went behind closes doors. you havener obvious democrats reading the polls and will have to defend this law in the 2014

have had a lethal cocktail of drugness her system that could have exacerbated the problem. now listen to the prosecution's new line offing to the medical examiner. >> if you were to learn that the defendant here had told somebody or others that he had drugged up michelle macneill, and convinced her to get into the tub and held her down for a little bit, and it caused her death, would that see see anywhere -- scenario be tint how michelle macneill may have died here. >> yes, certainly is possible. >> reporter: not just giving her the drugs but actually holding her down and drowning her. that medical examiner will be cross examined in four or five minutes. >> we'll watch for that.

our friends at the federal aviation administration just changed the rules. soon passengers can use electron ic gadgets while flying gate-to-gate. they have to have restrictions. you can't make phone calls. thank you. and have to put your phone or tablet into airplane mode or turn off the connection to cell towers towers soing in -- and you can connect your gadgets to wi-fi if your plane provides it. faa officials did not give an exact start date for the rules and are leaving that decision up to the airlines. jolene is with us. i read this morning, delta jumped right in. >> delta jumped in so did jetblue, and they're trying 0 adopt technology. but some airlines will be faster than others. jetblue and southwest and united already have technology with the internet they access through satellite for their
