apology for misleading them? they feel misled and you have seen the anger out there. >> yeah. i regret very much that what we intended to do which is to make sure that everybody is moving into better plans because they want them as opposed to because they are forced into it, that we weren't as clear as we needed to be in terms of the changes that were taking place. though it's a small percentage of folks who may be disadvantaged, it means a lot to them. it's scary to them. i am sorry that they are finding themselves in this situation based on assurances they got from me. >> it is not a small percentage. they knew in july of 2010 millions and millions of americans would lose their plan and their doctor. they didn't tell you the truth. a simple "yes, i'm sorry" is not that hard. here is the evidence to prove president obama should man up and own up to what he said.

this is what he told you. >> if you like your health care plan, you will be able to keep your health care plan. period. >> period. once that proved to be 100% not true then president obama tweaked his stance and said that. >> if you have or had one of these plans before the affordable care act came into law and you really like that plan, what we said was you could keep it. if it hasn't changed since the law is passed. >> there were no ifs, ands, buts or caveats. nice try. the american people can see through the liberal spin, the lies. unfortunately there is more. president obama in trying to defend the indefensible stepped in it some more and said this. >> we are talking about 5% of the population who are in what's called the individual market. they are out there buying health insurance on their own. though it only affects a small amount of the population. it mean as lot to them when they

get the this letter cancelled. >> i'm not sure where the administration dug that number up from which, by the way, is being regurgitated by friends in the liberal media. on this program we had a reputable duke university research scholar on "hannity" in our doctor summit show. he told the truth and said this. >> i calculated the people that are not going to be able to stay in their plans both in the individual market -- which everyone is talking about -- but also in the employer market. many people will lose their plans. i estimate 18 million to 50 million will lose their plans and have to start from scratch. >> by what point will 129 million americans lose their health insurance they like? if you like it, you can keep it. >> i'm estimating by the end of 2014. >> a year from now we'll be close to 129 million americans losing their health care. >> keep in mind the rest are paying more for whatever

coverage they have in order to add on the bells and whistles that obama care required. >> if you like your plan, you can't keep your plan and you will pay more for the new plan they think is better bauds they know best for you. will the president be held accountable for series of lies? joining me, former clinton add viedser, host of 1210 a.m. in philly. dick morris is back. how are you? you have been in exile. >> good to see you, sean. >> i know you took a lot of heat because of your prediction in the last election. before we get into your analysis here, what is your answer to people who said, oh, dick morris is so wrong. he angered people. it's been a while since we had you on. >> i was wrong. so was gallup, rasmussen, cnn, about half to two-thirds of the pollsters in the country. the reason they were wrong and when i looked at the number i

was wrong is we didn't take account of the period around sandy before the election when a quarter of america didn't have the telephones. you couldn't poll them. there were no polling data in that period. the exit polls on election day showed that about one of six americans made their mind up at the end and they voted for obama by over 2 to 1. >> when you work for bill clinton and they tried to push out hillarycare, their numbers cratered. you were brought in to do polling at that point. the poll numbers stayed high even when the president lied during lewinsky. do you see analogies for this president? now we know it's provable he lied and planned on it and covered it up for three years? >> well, the reason clinton's numbers stayed high is he moved to the center. he was articulating policies most americans supported.

obama has chosen to move way to the left. you can't compare clinton's lie about a personal matter with obama's lie about insurance. i realize this is a grammatical quibble. he said you can keep your health insurance, period. if he said "question mark", hey, that's fine. >> let me play waserman schultz claiming this will help democrats. >> it's a transition thing, not a cancellation. >> i've got you. >> if you look at it through the prism of 2014 you don't think obama care will weigh heavily on democratic elections? >> i think obama care, because americans have been feeling the benefits from 2010 where young adults can stay on their parents' insurance until they are 26. where on january 1 if you have a pre-existing condition like i do as a breast cancer survivor, the peace of mind those americans

will have knowing they can't be dropped or denied coverage for that condition. the preventative care available without a copay or deductible are things americans have been feeling and will feel as obama care is fully implemented. i think, candy, democratic candidates will be able to run on oh obama care as an advantage. >> if millions of americans get cancellation letters -- and they are -- and millions of americans see the rate hike shock what is the impact going to be in 2014? is it what debbie schultz says? >> it will be a wipe out. the republicans will gain enormously. look, obama has this problem. i don't believe the democratic party can permit him to bring them into the next election in '14 with 50 million people losing their coverage and another 80 million seeing premiums jacked way up . i don't think they can do it. if obama rescinds cancellations

which he could do by executive order because the statute doesn't require them, his regulations do, nobody will sign up for this turkey. he'll be embarrassed by the low turnout. did you see reuters reports that the 12 state exchanges have had a total of 50,000 sign-ups? if experience is a guide, 40 of them are probably medicaid. if you have a quarter of the country with 10,000 sign-ups, you're talking about 40,000 in the whole country after a month and a half of oh this turkey being out there. the only way he can generate enrollment is to throw people off their health insurance so they have no alternative but to come into the exchanges. >> welcome back. it's been a while. appreciate you being with us. welcome to the world of talk radio. >> i love it. >> everyone says it's an easy job. is it? >> it's wonderful. i have three hours to opine. >> for people who like to talk like us. it's the perfect job.

so president obama told you, the american people, one of the biggest lies to sell his health care overhaul. how does it stack up against other political -- well, lies or untruths? we have taken it upon ourselves to compile some of the biggest lies in the history of american politics. take a look at this. >> i welcome this kind of examination because people have got to know whether or not their president is a crook. well, i am not a crook. >> therefore, i shall resign the presidency effective at noon tomorrow. >> i want you to listen to me. i'm going to say this again. i did not have sexual relations with that woman. >> indeed i did have a relationship with ms. lewinsky that was not appropriate. in fact, it was wrong. >> i have responded to -- consistently to these tabloid allegations by saying i don't

respond to these lies. >> i made a very serious mistake. a mistake that i am responsible for and no one else. i was wrong. >> i tweeted that my facebook was hacked and my tivo. i tweeted about that and continued that evening. went to bed. they got me. i would like to make it clear that i have made terrible mistakes and hurt the people i care about the most. i'm deeply sorry. once i realized i posted it to twitter i panicked, took it down and said i was hacked. >> we'll keep this promise to the american people. if you like your doctor, you will be able to keep your doctor, period. if you like your health care plan, you will be able to keep your health care plan, period. >> and i am sorry that they are finding themselves in this situation based on assurances

they got from me. >> joining me withction, former obama economic adviser. he got us into this economic mess austin goolsby and jedediah byla. we see it in the polling numbers. we can look t at the rollout of the website as incompetence. now that we know in july of 2010 they knew by their own government estimates that 60 some odd percent of small businesses, 40 some odd percent of big businesses and an overwhelming number of health care accounts they would lose them. they made the conscious decision to go forward with the lie. how do you back away from the law's credibility of the president when you do that? >> i don't think that's a proper characterization. the 5% of the market -- >> not five. that's another lie. >> it's less than 5%. >> more than five. >> it's not more than 5%.

when george bush said in 2001. >> it's all bush's fault. always. >> in 2001 george bush had a tax cut which they went around the country saying this is a tax cut for all americans. for 95% of america that was true. but for a small number of people it was not. is that a lie? my question is -- is that a lie? >> let me show mitt romney -- >> generally it was not a lie. >> i will bet you $10,000 to the charity of your choice. >> we have already established how much more money you have than i have. >> i will bet you to the charity of your choice that it's well over 5% and the government itself made that estimate. this is going to be over 100 million americans won't keep the plan they have. that's a fact. >> i love democrats always calling themselves the compassionate ones. all of the sudden the 5%, those 5% don't t matter? i don't care how many people it was. these are sick people, people

who were made a promise by the president of the united states repeatedly that if they liked their plan they could keep it. >> period. >> yes, period. over two dozen times he said it. now they are in the exchanges seeing plans that cost two, three times that amount they can't afford. that's unacceptable. also unacceptable is his apology. that's not an apology. an apology is i lied. i didn't tell you the truth and i will fix it. i will do something that makes you able to keep your plans because that's what i promised. >> thsz a liberal talking point but if you go back in july 2010 the government said small businesses, 60% will lose theiring . 40% of big business and a large percentage of individual health care. that's half of america. that's 128 million americans by their math, not mine. you can't say 5%. >> sean -- >> that's a lie. >> if i had $10,000 to bet you, i would bet you -- >> how much you got?

>> in the rach owe of our net worth. i will bet you $6 to $6,000 -- >> oh, great. >> it will not be. >> my economic policies are better than yours. >> you guys are confused on the policy here. >> no. confused on what's a lie. >> here's the confusion. if a person has in their policy, which millions of people had before obama care passed if they get sick the insurance company can drop their plan. that was a standard thing. >> you're spinning. >> i'm not. >> if you like your plan, you can keep your plan period. >> for 97% plus of people -- >> that's a lie. >> did the administration t not put forth regulations to make the plans obsolete? >> right. after the bill was passed. >> you guys interrupted. those policies that allow the insurance policy to drop you if you get sick, that's now forbidden, for good reason.

they shouldn't p p able to do that. that plan no longer exists. now you are getting a plan they cannot drop you. >> if people had a catastrophic plan which are cheaper, higher deductib deductibles, it works for you. >> well, the administration gets to decide what's best for them. >> right. >> this administration doesn't understand that people get to decide. i don't care if barack obama doesn't like my he can. if the president says if you like your health care, you can keep it, i will count on that. >> does it bother you when you buy a car that you have to buy a minimum of car insurance? >> you are changing the debate. >> i'm not. it's about insurance. >> can americans keep their plan if they like it? no. >> 2.5% of people. >> why does that make it okay? >> it doesn't. it makes it exactly analogous to when republican presidents said we are giving a tax cut to everyone and for 98% of america it was true.

but for 2% of america it didn't -- >> they didn't pay taxes. you can't get a cut if you don't pay. >> people who pay income tax if you had the alternative minimum tax there were individual circumstances that it wasn't uh true. in general it was true. >> they ushered in regulations -- >> you are losing -- i will tell you something. by you spinning -- >> i'm not trying to spin. >> you need to look at 35,000, some hundred and 44. they knew they were losing it. >> here's where i agree with you. if they are not able to get the website up and running and get people so they can enroll the critique you are saying that some people are losing insurance starting next year and aren't able the to sign up for new insurance i will say you are 100% right. >> that's not what he said. if you don't like your plan --

welcome back to "hannity." suspended miami dolphins lineman richie incognito broke his silence amid allegations of hazing and bullying of a teammate. let's take a look. >> what i want people to know is the way jonathan and the rest of the offensive line and how our teammates communicate is vulgar. it's not right. when the words are put this the context i understand why eyebrows are raised. people don't know how john and i communicate the to one another.

this isn't about bullying. this is an issue of mine and john's relationship where i have taken stuff too far and i didn't know it was hurting him. my actions were coming from a place of love. no matter how bad and how vulgar t it sounds, that's how we communicate. that's how our friendship was. those are the facts. that's what i'm t accountable for. if he were to say, listen, you took it too far, you hurt me. i would just apologize and explain to him exactly what i explained to you. i apologize to his family. they took it as malicious. i never meant it that way. >> the miami dolphins are the focus of an nfl investigation after martin left the team two weeks ago to seek emotional treatment for distress. martin will meet with nfl investigator ted wells this week regarding what happened. there is growing concern this could turn into a nightmare for the nfl. here with reaction, two football

legends, nfl hall of fame quarterback for the jets, my team, joe namath. and one of the greatest coaches of all time and former coach of my favorite college team, notre dame, lou holtz. >> one of my favorite coaches of all time, too. >> he's one of america's favorites, joe. he's up there. whether we like what was said what happens in the locker room, et cetera, one thing we learned in the interview -- coach, i will start with you. is that richie incognito also got threatening texts from jonathan martin. apparently they were good friend because they texted back and forth a thousand times. is this something we have to consider here? >> you have to look at the program. joe namath can talk about the locker room because he was in there. he knows when he won the super

bowl there was great respect among the team. it's up to the coach to say, we are part of a team. during training camp you can't do that. everybody is fighting for a job. once you get the 55 down they have to talk about the obligations and responsibilities to other people. lift people up, don't tear them down. if someone isn't tough sh call him in the office. don't leave it to the players. i want to say on veterans day, i was in the army. my coaching came from the army. you have an obligation and responsibility to your teammates. don't thet them down. not this nonsense of threatening people. >> joe, you are one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time. maybe things were different when you were in the locker room then. you're in the locker room today. do you find the language and the way players treat each other, talk to each other, has it changed a lot? >> it certainly has changed. it's always been -- some of us have used crude language over

the years in the locker room. the old "i've got your back" player code in the locker room is something that exists in a lot of areas in life. from what i have inferred going on now, i'd like to see players kind of be honorable here. i don't know if any of us know the details. those of us who are honorable should step up and say something. the players association, the union, where are they? i'm waiting to hear what those in power have to say about this. >> what about incognito? the players -- the dolphins have spoken out. they painted a different picture ta incognito was martin's biggest supporter and friend even though they had a way of

talking that nobody in general society would approve of. so it's hard to get to the bottom of it. it was almost like a culture that if an outsider is brought in they would say, wow, this is shocking, but not to them. does that make sense? >> it makes sense because you have heard from a handful of dolphins players. you haven't heard from every player in the locker room. i would like to see a code of honor, right. but not a dishonorable code. people don't deserve to be treated the way we are envisioning this treatment to this second-year player. >> one of the thing i didn't like was the use of racial slurs. the argument is that it was used often by everybody not in the context of general society uses or threats. you know, richie is saying,

yeah, i did make that phone call. but incognito said the same thing to me. is it just that the atmosphere was wrong? >> if that's the case why did the wide receiver from philadelphia get in so much problem with teammate in preseason when he used that word? there is no place for it. i don't know the coach of miami. i understand he's a great guy. job anybody at miami. i know this. it is up to the administration, up to those people to control and build an attitude that we have to help one another, encourage one another. we are all in it together. we have one goal -- to win a championship. there is a way you treat people. i go back there and i know joe namath, that team, the togetherness and i saw it a couple year s later when coaching the jets of the respect and admiration they had. i'm talking about rich caster, joe mark ham. joe, you know what i'm talking about. you don't find that environment, i will guarantee you, in the new england patriots locker room. number one, the owner would not

tolerate it, nor would billy. it's up to you to set the tempo and attitude not just in the locker room but on the field and the way you do things. >> maybe it's time for the nfl to examine what's a culture maybe outside the norm. maybe they have to up the standards. joe? >> the nfl will examine this. the players association will. also, and it is a defense for coach philbin and the staff. those players in the locker room, that's their domain. they think they run it. it's their locker room. it belongs to us. i have your back as a player, you have mine. anybody else doesn't matter. this is our locker room. now then you're going to tell me i don't believe every coach out there, whether it's in college, professional football, whatever, has his pulse on the player of every locker room. the players insist on privacy and sometimes they get in trouble over it. it runs amok. >> all right, guys.

welcome back to kwoez hasn't. after republican governor chris christie easily won re-election in new jersey and made headlines as a possible 2016 presidential contender there are concerns about whether he can win over conservatives and make a run for the white house come 2016. now for starters the governor has been critical of conservative senators ted cruz, rand paul calling cruz's fight against obama care a, quote, monumental failure and calling rand paul's opposition to government surveillance, quote, a dangerous thought. christie's middle of the road stance on immigration, same sex marriage, gun control and more. >> do you still favor

comprehensive immigration reform including a path to citizenship? >> what i favor is fixing the broken system. the fact is that everybody knows the system is broken. >> you also support some gun controls. why? >> well, listen, chris. i think when you look at what we have done in new jersey, we want to control violence. some of that may involve firearms. a lot of it doesn't. in fact, my focus is on making sure mental health is done in a much more aggressive way in new jersey. >> those remarks come after christie unveiled proposals to strengthen gun control laws and supported legislation to offer in-state tuition for illegal immigrants. lastly we can't forget his famous embrace of president obama after hurricane sandy. the question is will conservatives be able to put that behind them and get on board the governor christie so-called express. here is author of "good tidings

he's the only guy who can win. what's your reaction? >> establishment people have been quite wrong, especially in recent days. haven't they? 2016 is a long time off. people aren't so concerned about hypotheticals that perhaps will surface in 2016. they are so worried about what's going on and what obama is doing to the country in bankrupting us and stripping our freedoms. we don't have to settle for a candidate, any politician that would go along to get along with an agenda that stifles our economy and would strip any of the freedoms that are constitutionally protected. >> what do you think of the governor's embrace of obama after hurricane sandy? i want to put it in its proper conte context. i know there was devastation in new york with hurricane sandy. he didn't invite in the president. nor did andrew cuomo. but governor christie went out of his way. a big embrace, a big hug.

a lot of people thought that hurt mitt romney. what are your thoughts? >> perhaps it hurt mitt romney. i think it was unnecessary to literally be embracing barack obama at the time of such national import when it came to that campaign season. again, more important has been anyone on the gop ticket who could support policies of barack obama when it comes to granting amnesty to illegal aliens, for instance, or thwarting our second amendment rights or growing national debt. any gop member who would go that direction instead of standing strong on the planks in the platform, i question their commitment to the free markets and the freedom that's made america such an exceptional nation. >> if you listen to the debate that's ongoing in the republican circles, there seems to be establishment versus tea party. first of all, do you concede that's true? >> oh, yeah. it's been on going for a long
