observe care the president offered yesterday what he says will be a fix. >> the bottom line is insurers can extend current plans that would otherwise be canceled into 2014 and americans whose plans have been canceled can choose to reenroll in the same kind of plan. >> for the millions of americans who have received cancellation notices because their current policies do not meet obamacare requirements the president will now allow insurance companies to keep offering those plans. but only for one year. that is just long enough to get many democrats in congress through otherwise dicey mid term elections. for insurance companies it is a real curve ball because their rates for 2014 were based on promises from the president that those millions of americans would in fact be forced into obamacare. former insurance executive says this is blame shifting. >> so let's look at the options. the insurance company ceo can either decide not to do it, in which case he's the bad guy for

a gas pipeline explodes in poland killing two people and

injuring at least 13. the blast set fire to a row of homes in the village. look at that. at least 12 houses burned down. officials believe an existing pipeline was damaged when a new pipeline was being installed. a special commission will te determine the cause of the explosion. >> teenagers who were taunted about their looks now turning to plastic surgery to remove things like moles and to pin back their ears. the doctor specializes in pediatric plastic surgery and he believes it can boost a child's self-esteem. >> plastic surgery is one spoke on the wheel of self-esteem. >> i think rather than focusing on the physical look of an individual we should be focusing on encouraging them and increasing their self-confide e self-confidence. >> in 2012 roughly 130,000 procedures took place under the age of 18 here in the u.s.

>> what we want to do is be able to tell the folks the affordable care act is not going to be the reason why insurers have to cancel your plan. >> the problem is the insurance companies have been thrown a loop on this. they have made massive changes in their policies and face next year's rates on the understanding everyone would be forced into this new system. this exemption lasts for only one year. what that does is provide cover for red states who are facing a battle in part because of their support for obamacare. the house made a vote to extend the president's exemption to all americans. >> who is to say he doesn't change his mind a week or two or a few months down the road? that is why our bill is a better answer. who knows how his executive order is going to be tested? will it be allowed to stand in

>> wtvg reporter is live for us in florida with the latest. we hear that crews were tryiwily to fill that sink hole today. >> they are going to try to fill it. it will take a long time to do it. 66 feet deep 96 feet across. this is an enormous sink hole that has eaten up part of both of these homes. it is continuing to grow. you can see the fence is keeping people away. deputy looks like he is walking along the fence line. here's the scary part. the front part of that house there's another sink hole there. you can't see it obviously. we have been told by the repair

company that sink hole causes more danger because it is 70 feet deep. the one in the back is 56 feet deep. the game plan this morning at 8:30 crews will bring in an excavator to demo both of the houses. from what we gather it arrived by 8:30 in the morning. crews will bring in dump trucks they need to fill the 12-,000 cubic yards. that's a lot of dirt. 600 dump trucks will come in and out of this residential neighborhood all morning to fill that sink hole. the biggest concern is making sure that they do not trigger that other sink hole. if they do obviously they are going to have a lot more on their hands to worry about. back to you in new york. >> reporting live for us from florida. thank you. rutgers university are rallying for sam mcneil the campus bus driver who was pressured to resign after
