site. the defense of veterans affairs department actually run this site which provide veterans with benefits. some veterans tell fox news they are going on the site to check the status of their personal claims only to find another veteran's personal information like bank routing numbers names addresses and medical conditions. the veteran's administration admits there is a software defect. in a statement the va said they took immediate action of the software defect and shut the e benefit system down in order to stop any problems. the breech has effected more than 5,000 veterans over 3 million people actually use the site. the va says the independent data breech is conducting a full review. there have been problems before in 2013 thousands of veterans had their personal information posted on ancestry.com. in 2009 the va had to pay $20 million.
