taxes. why you should be cheering for the league. "cashin' in," the show you can trust starts now. hi, everybody. i'm eric bolling. welcome to "cashin' in." the crew this week, welcome, everybody. you heard a few examples of president o's broken promises. tuesday, the president will deliver his fifth "state of the union" address. we learned he will focus on income inequality. before he makes any new pledges remember when he promised this -- >> we can settle for a country where a few people do really, really well. everybody else struggles to get by. or we can restore an economy where everybody gets a fair shot. everybody does their fair share. let's see how it's working out five years in the grand redistribution plan.
8:32 am
before he took office, the income gap was $15,000 but now it's jumped to over $170,000. guess what is happening here? the income gap is growing under president obama. >> no one is going to tune in to the "state of the union" address because they are tired of the broken promises. americans would rather watch grass grow than listen to another speech from obama. his greatest achievement for the presidency was obamacare and it ended up being a lie, a fraud. people are tired of it. that's why if you look at the polls, since november he has dropped eight points with the american people when it comes to trustworthiness and honesty. because they know he is just filled with broken promises. it's a bunch of rhetoric. >> what about that? can you trust anything that the president, the promises that he is going to make tuesday night at the "state of the union"? no-bama. no.
8:33 am
he is trying to redistribute wealth take money from people trying to take money from the economy. these are the things that we need to change fundamentally the direction that this administration is going. we are stuck with it for the next few days but hopefully congress can do something to stop crazy he has -- stop the ideas he has. >> how do you explain a president promising to shrink income inequality gap but after five years of trillions of dollars it's become wider under president obama. how do you explain that? >> income inequality has been growing for four decades. i'm glad we're saying the two words on this show. it is important to be focusing on it. so that is what the president is doing talking about it, bringing it to the nation's attention. the fact that productivity is
8:34 am
up, the stock market has bounced back. you know, our percentage growth, g.d.p. is off the charts. yes, we have -- >> jehmle -- >> this is not trickle down to workers. >> hold on. >> we spent $2.8 trillion in five years trying to fix income inequality. going in the wrong direction. >> wayne, is this a failed redistribution plan? >> first, it's a bad idea to try to make everybody equal. equality is the opposite of freedom. you heard me say many times on the show, equality, americans are enamored with equality instead of freedom. the fact of the matter is the president can't fix it, because the economics that he is proposing is not going to fix it. we have to get to a free market system.
8:35 am
that is the way you raise income. we have talk about this a week ago. the three bottom nations in the world, in this area are cuba, north korea, and zimbabwe. why? they're totalitarian governments. there is no freedom. that's why. we have to have freedom in economy and a free economy if you go to raise everybody's level. >> specifically, the part i'm concernedded with if we look at the graphic again the top five percent income is growing. that is good. the economy is growing. g.d.p. is growing. the stock market is up. that's great. the problem with all the money we have spent, k.g., the bottom 5% isn't going up slower. it's actually turned down. >> how does he explain that or justify it? how many other previous presidents will he try to lay that carpet under. give me a break. there is no personal accountability with him or the administration. i haven't heard refreshing ideas that make any sense within any practical business model. in fact, quite a pop is it. so that should be alarming. there was a different

president from a different party in office right now they would be screaming and rioting over those numbers you just stated. >> i'm going to move on. we don't have a ton of time in this. i want to move on to the other topic that president is likely, he is expected to speak about. that is his signature healthcare law. now president obama, remember he promised this? >> what i pledge to do as a candidate and save a typical family average of $2,500 on the healthcare cost in the coming years. >> guess what? that is not working out either. studies show families are paying more for premiums like $2,500 more so come call that he says -- comical that you will save $2,500 as a family. now we find that same number is right but in the wrong direction. >> another broken promise. we saw people with ton of cancellation letters.
8:37 am
then we start to see people with the employer insurance canceled. we saw target, trader joe's. that's the next group. this is terrible. why do people want to listen to this? if you are a democrat why tune in to the "state of the union" to listen to a guy who promised you everything who made liberalism look stupid. if you are a republican why do you tune in to listen to this guy blame you for problems he created? people are tuning out. >> what do you expect to hear tuesday night? anything that you might say hey, that might work? >> i expect him to yet again call on congress to act on some of his proposals. with all due respect, kimberly saying that congress should make sure they are blocking everything that he is doing, that is exactly why he can't get progress on the income inequality. that's why the problems --
8:38 am
>> he thinks democrats controlled congress the first two years. they didn't do anything. >> our founding fathers did not create -- >> [ overtalk ] >> we have to have participation, we have to have compromise. >> wayne, is there anything specific you are looking to hear? anything you say that will convince you that in the next year or two or three until he finishes the second term is going to be any better than the last five? >> he might but i don't expect him to, no. i'm interested. he is a terrific speaker. he is able to say things like and you, if you like your doctor you will be able to keep him. if you like your healthcare plan, you are going to be able to keep it. period. he is able to -- i think he is a remarkable speaker. a remarkable guy. it's very entertaining. so i'm going to look at it. i want to hear it. do i think there is an ounce of truth in it?
