>> what did the president focus on in this year's speech? >> he had a number of issues during the 5th state of the union address he highlighted the growing gap of income and equality the need for more women's rights a higher minimum wage as well as immigration reform and green energy alternatives. he also told congress he may go about many of the issues with or without them reminding those in the chamber of his powers of executive order. >> in the coming week i will issue a order requiring paying federal funded employees a fair wage of 10.10 an hour because if you cook or deliver meals or wash their dishes you should not have to live in poverty. >> republican lawmakers responded in part saying these promises may sound good but they won't solve the problems americans face. they argue there needs to be more policies empowering americans and not empowering

service announcement for obamacare. i was disappointed in that. there are real problems with this law. this law was sold to the american people under false pretenses, he didn't own up to any of that. >> i am a partisan i am a republican and conservative, i have said i will work with you but he has to come and talk to us he can't just say my way or the highway i have got a pohone and a pen and by golly you don't give me what i want i will do it anyway. that's the tone of a bully not someone who wants to work with congress. >> reagan was a president historically consequential in a way that clinton was not. what he meant was reagan changed the course of american history and clinton played small ball. when obama came into office if you look at his first state of the union extremely expansive. he sounds like a president realizing he is not going to get it done. one thing healthcare he tried to

square into super bowl boulevard. we are going to be here in the days leading up to the super bowl. finally expecting that coming up this sunday. take a look at the radar picture you can see the snow coming down as well as freezing rain across portions of eastern north and south carolina. portions of georgia picking up over 3 inches of snow out there especially across the atlanta area and parts of eastern north carolina looking at accumulations exceeding 5 inches that's significant for the carolinas. temperature wise not much warmer across the southeast. temperatures will remain well below average out there. atlanta expecting high temperatures at 35 degrees at the freezing mark in raleigh, north carolina. but new york city you will be warming up in the 20's today. a little better than it has been the last couple of days across the parts of the northeast and the same goes for you in the northwest. in minneapolis you make it above zero today. in the forecast 25 degrees that will feel much better after what
