footballs. payton shot back saying, yeah, but a lot of those end up in the end zone. how hard is it to throw the perfect spiral? our own fiver was with star nfl quarterback joe theismann. >> you know this guy, he's amazing, he turned me into a pretty decent football player. i want to ask him a question about the game, and as a champion quarterback, it's friday. what are the quarterbacks thinking at this point in the game to repair themselves? >> i think the first thing that the quarterbacks are thinking about, thank goodness all the media commitments are over, i finally have a chance to go out and focus on the game. this is a game where you want to relax, take a step back, reflect on what the next 48 hours are like, and get your head on straight. now that you don't have to worry about this media commitment, that media commitment, all you get to focus on now is football. >> you're thinking about your plays, going through the game

book, watched a lot of videotape on the opposing team, are you feeling anxious at this point or pretty confident? >> i think you're pretty confident. you played very well to get here, you have to rely on that experience, and say, we earned the right to be here, we belong here, we want to be world champions, everyone has to take that same approach, as a quarterback, you think about doing your job, if you try to do too much, that leads to a lot of problems. i've been in both situations, where if you just do your job, you're doing fine. you help guys out, it doesn't work out that way, both these quarterbacks, i think, one very young, one very experienced and lennon dairy in his own right are going to put on quite a show for us. >> it took a lot to get them to where they are, to get here on sunday, like me and my awesome team, the san francisco 49ers, i'm going to go for denver in this, you see it differently. who do you like? >> i like the seahawks. and the reason why is, five

times the number one defense and offense faced one another. i'm an offensive guy, i can certainly appreciate what defenses are able to do. i'm leaning toward the seattle seahawks, no offense to the broncos fans out here, i think in this one, the defense is going to have to take over. >> we're going to see what happens, and which quarterback, both of them are going to come to play, be ready for the big game. i can't go against peyton manning, what can i say. i'm a champion at heart and a tremendous year. >> they talked about paten throwing ducks, you and i have been throwing. we're going to show people just how easy it is to throw a football or just how difficult it is to throw a football. we can ask sean hannity how different it is. >> if i can throw a little better than hannity did last night, i'm doing okay. >> you know where to place your finger fingers.

screen, it better be in jail. don't wear a jersey, you're a grown man with responsibility, it's just weird at this point. the more you talk, the less we believe. celery is for rabbits and inmates, leave the vegetable platter for the school play. if you don't know anything about the game don't worry. it's the people who know stuff who can be truly annoying. bring more food than you're going to eat. if you're 200 pounds and you bring a pound of lays, you're a jerk. fat guys should always bring a bucket of something. never sit in archie bunker's seat. show up no earlier than 15 minute minutes during kickoff. don't bring your kids unless they serve drinks or rub feet. once the game is over, leave. tomorrow is a workday, and if it isn't for you, pass out in someone else's bushes.

you're watching live from super bowl boulevard in times square. let's go now to kimberly again, she's outside with a man you might recognize. joe namath. take it away, kim. you. >> know what, now. >> we've got him here. we're with joe namath, pro football player, he's been giving me some tips about the game, what to look for, and who he thinks is going to take away the super bowl ring. if anybody ought to know, he ought to know. who do you like, joe? >> i like both teams. i still give the edge to denver because of peyton manning's expertise in being able to anticipate defenses. also, being able to analyze defense prior to the snap, and maybe putting his team into the best offensive play. >> let's talk about the weather a little bit, if you're a quarterba quarterback, and thinking about sunday. what are you thinking about in terms of the elements. >> every morning i got up, i'd open up those curtains and look

and see which way the wind was blowing, it's the wind factor that all quarterbacks dislike. it does tricks with the ball. if it's not windy, the temperature's not going to be so cold. not cold enough to make the ball hard and slippery. if the wind is not blowing, it will be fine. >> what are your thoughts? >> great defenses win games, what do you think about sunday? >> you're talking to a quarterback, i think we can always outplay the defense if we have the offense. i know the defensive linemen and offensive linemen are going to decide the game. peyton won't be able to throw the ball. >> whoever wins that battle up front is going to win the game. >> whoever gets their quarterback more time in the pocket, to be able to make those passes, the big plays, are you anticipating a game that's going to be high scoring, potentially, with this kind of offense? >> i think it's going to be in the 20s, both of these teams are
