healthcare.gov. the good news is right away we decided how we were going to fix it. it got fixed within a month and a half. it was up and running and now it is working the way it is supposed to. signed up 3 and a half million people. >> there was associated press people only 8 percent of them feel that it is working well. why didn't you fire sebelius the secretary in charge of this. she had to know all of those years and money that it wasn't going to work. >> my main priority is making sure that it delivers for the american people. what we ended upped doing we have 3 million people signed up so far. we are a month behind where we anticipated we wanted to be. we have 6 million people signed up for medicaid. we have 3 million young people under the age of 26 who are signed up on their parent's plan. what we are figuring out is how to continue to improve it, how do we make sure the folks who don't have health insurance get health insurance.

this morning. phillip seymour hoffman dead of an apparent overdose. we are live outside of the actor's new york city apartment with more. >> a somber scene here in the early morning hours in greenwich village outside phillip seymour hoffman's apartment a rented apartment he often uses as office space. candles and flowers left there. his body removed from this apartment at 6:40 last night 7 hours after the shocking discovery was made by a friend and screen writer who grew concerned after being unable to reach him according to police. investigators finding his body 11:30 sunday morning with a syringe in his arm and envelope carrying heroin. he appeared in more than 50 films in a career that lasted 25

years. among his many notable films his role in capote that earned him a best actor award. he was nominated three times for supporting roles appearing in mission impossible in 2006, money ball in 2011 and the hunger games catching fire in 2013. he was long known to struggle with addiction. in an interview in 2006 he had given up drugs at age 22 but last year he checked into a rehab center after ten-days after using prescription drugs that turned him on to heroin once again. a lot of friends very shocked and saddened by this terrible news. a big, big loss for new york city and hollywood. >> and for his family and his children. thank you for being out there with us. they search for a convicted quadruple murderer who somehow
