more than a year. the 46-year-old claims it has prevented her from refinancing her mortgage twice and she has also been turned down for credit cards. the problem started last winter when she was added to her parent's bank account to assist them with their finances as they age. they will begin charging inmates $6 per day and $10 for each doctor's visit. the sheriff says it will save taxpayers a million dollars a year. they are calling it cruel and unusual punishment and may be in for a legal fight. charles schumer calling on the fda to ban a membchemical used several different products including breads at fast food restaurants. the reason the chemical turns into a carcinogen. >> good morning to you.

democrats charles schumer of new york is concerned about what is going into your food. he's calling on the food and drug administration fda to ban the use of the chemical. in 1999 the world health organization linked the chemical to asthma but the fda approved it anyway. it is a chemical used in shoes and yoga mats but fast food chains use the chemical in their bread to make it whiter and make it longer. popular fast food chain subway announced last week it would discontinue the use of the chemical. senator schumer holding a mcdonald cheese burger in his hand said others still use the carcinogen. >> it is so full of this chemical so that billions and billions served could really be billions and billions served toxic chemicals.
