lot who were behind the controls of the missing malaysia jet. this is the captain shaw he's 53 years old a veteran working with the malaysia airlines since 1981. in his 33 years there he accumulated more than 18,000 hours of flying experience. this is first officer hamid a 27-year-old man who started in 2007. he has more than 2700 flying hours. he is the same man who once invited a pair of attract tiff australian woman in to a cockpit during an international flight. one of the women are now speaking out. >> through out the whole flight they were talking and taking photos with us in the cockpit while they were flying. the whole time they weren't like facing the front of the plane

actually flying. >> malaysian airline policy prohibits passengers in the cockpit while it is flying. >> there are concerns about what exactly was going og in the cockpit. there are two things that cannot happen by accident. >> even more troubling than the direction of the plane is when somebody turned off the transponder on the aircraft. >> what is the transponder? >> it is on basically every commercial aircraft. it provide information to air traffic control about who that aircraft is, where they are flying, what their altitude is and what their speed is. >> someone turns that off. it can't turn off or break? >> no. >> this is a triple 7, nine years old basically a new aircraft.

these are not designed to go out. you have two power failures you are going to have a third system set up to make sure they continue to function. he turns off another system that is a system that is continually feeding information to the air carrier's home base giving it an update on how the aircraft is performing. you turn off both of those things you have somebody who has some bad intentions. >> passengers are calling it the miracle of flight 678. a phoenix bound plane departing from pam taw makes an emergency landing when a baby on board that plane stops pleading. but before the plane can land two passengers with medical training step in to help. >> had the baby held in his hand upside down. the baby was purple. >> everybody was just invested and we heard the baby cry, it was just -- it was a teary
