10:04 am
the american public. do the math here, alisyn. we were going to have 7 million new americans signed up. and the white house said maybe not 7 million but 6 million. they are reporting over 4 million and new numbers are correct and people in the industry signing up people for the health insurance exchaefrjs, it is closer to 3 million people and that is a long-distance from the 7 million promised. and the white house can't use the insurance numbers because they are not fast checked and the numbers keep fluxating and they are not comprehensive and they are not telling us how many people have actually paid. do you buy that? >> there may be glimmers of truth in that. but where else will you get the data from? from the shrps companies that the people are enrolling with.
10:05 am
i believe the insurance numbers. they tonight have a reason to make up or lie about the numbers. what is interesting that the white house is down playing this and even kind of concealing the numbers that are coming in from the insurance industry. it is confusing, why wouldn't the white house have these important numbers? such as how many people signed up and paid and how many people were previously uninsured. these seem like important numbers. and the white house said they are not collecting that data? >> i think it is a public relations problem for the white house. it has been a public relations since the beginning and the website was rolled out and i happen to it think they don't want to put out the numbers and like the old saying, you don't want to know the truth. it is important for people to realize that someone signs up for insurance policy and they

very concerned about income inequality. and clearly made a watch word of this year whether it is the minimum wage or unemployment insurance extension of the benefits, and now with overtime. on the other hand, i don't think it is unfair to say it is politics and in particular with the special election in florida this week. the president is going to have a tough time having democrats campaign on obama care and successes of obama care or fix it or don't end it. and so he's pushing as he did in 2012 the idea of income inequality and they are looking out for the middle-class and the republicans are concerned about the wealthy. >> i think speaker boehner said but the out. that was the summery of your
