to the ground. >> i looked up and two seconds later the flames started the whole street lit up on fire and a huge smoke cloud come up. about 55 feet of gasoline fire. both of the people the pilot and photographer died. a 37-year-old richard new man who was in his car when the helicopter crashed he is in critical condition. the investigation could take months. >> a gas leak discovered at the site of the deadly explosion in harlem, new york. the blast left 8 people dead leveling two buildings and the ntsb says the leak was detected during a pressure check on an 8 inch main on the street. they are a long ways from determining what caused the blast. >> a machin plunges to his deatt the grand canyon. he fell about 350 feet from the

canyon's edge. it was believed he was trying to get a hat when he fell. the 53-year-old was visiting from texas with his family. his death has been ruled an accident. >> a fast moving drama unfolding in the ukraine. crimea self defense forces attack the ukrainian navy headquarters and raise the russian flag. we have the breaking details and what it could mean as they impose new sanctions on russia. >> ukraine is not giving up its fight for crimea even though russian troops are there and vladmir putin is annex crimea and even though they raised the russian flag over the ukrainian navy building. the acting defense minister says ukrainian forces will not withdraw from crimea. he says quote, no, we will stay.

o >> the family of a texas teenager has settled lawsuits of three of his victim's families. they agreed to pay the families an undisclosed amount of money. 17-year-old ethan couch was drive drunk when he crashed his truck and killed people. a judge gave him probation claiming his wealthy parents were to blame for his bad behavior. she is now dropping the lawsuit against her parents. rachel canning moved out of their house they say she refused to follow the rules. she sued for child support and college tuition and now wants to turn over a new leaf.
