day today. i haven't found anything. three chinese war ships are going to the area as well. u.s. nave reph search plane is over the site now and scanning for those objects that could be pieces of the missing plane. they have just come back and reportedly found nothing. >> they are covering a lot of ground. we are able to cover roughly about 2,500 square miles of ocean per hour while we are searching the area. we have several sensors on board. >> it is also much clearer so they have a better chance of spotting the objects. p one is nearly 80 foot long. but the objects could have moved though uses of miles before they were spotted satellite. >> because they are the best

the latest is david piper. good morning, david. >> good morning to you both. planes have been searching the area where it was spotted satellite sunday. they haven't come up with anything. an ice breaker was done in antarctica which is in that area as well. they are skaning for the objects that could be debris from the missing plane. searchers have come back and reported to have found nothing. >> you want to find the objects because they are the best lead to where we might find people to be rescued the detections provide us with a good lead. it correlates with the word done by the national transportation safety board. it gives us a greater degree of
