according to what authorities are telling us. domminic is live from washington now,dom? >> reporter: harris it is extremely tough going in the rescue and recovery efforts today. the reason being the weather has been getting worse. we had a break now in the rain. but the rain falling on the site is stirring up more mud and making it difficult for the rescue workers to wade through. in 30 minutes time, we'll have hopefully a revised number on the number of people found so far. but authorities have been promising us for a couple of days now. there will be a substantial increase and not forth coming with the numbers. today is the day we'll have a significant leap. we'll have an update around 9 o'clock eastern time this evening on precisely happen in the site and a now miles from where i stand. we'll hear from crews that are

>> it is the bottom of the hour and if you are just joining us, it is morning on sunday in the part of the world where the hunt is on for malaysian flight 370 and a new search going on. planes are headed out in the last several hours. now, we have reported this hour that ships recovered objects that are spotted in. indian ocean west of perth, australia. but china is reporting that those items are not from the plane. there is a lot of debris going on and a lot in the ocean and mistake. meanwhile relatives of passengers on the missing jet are heading to malaysia to peginning. and we are getting more words of more sightings of objects in the ocean. david piper filed the report.

>> reporter: hi, harris more objects in the indian ocean but no confirmation they are debris from the missing plane. the china authorities say they are red, white and orange. but reported none of the objects came from the missing plane. china has two ships with more on the way. more bad weather is forecast, though. the location has changed off of the satellite data and suggested that the plane was flying faster and thus burning more fuel. the new location near perth allows planes to fly over the zone. the new satellite data showed no chance of anybody surviving as the plane must have run out of fuel and crashed in the indian ocean. the minister suggested there was hope. >> i said that from the
