so bill o'reilly, brian kilmeade, and i decided to get together for a good cause, tickets still available. i will tell you all the best behind the scenes story on my time on the factor including what bill says to me at the start of each show when i am on his set. and welcome to "hannity," tonight we have a jam-packed edition of the show. america, are you ready? let's roll. two hours to go until the clock strikes the obamacare deadline. >> if you like your doctor you can keep your doctor. >> they have been dishonest from the get-go. karl rove thinks it will come back to haunt them in 2014. tonight he will be here. >> it is an unmitigated disaster and as a result it will be a big problem for the democrats come november. booze, kids, drugs, spring break, a toxic tradition.
7:01 pm
ainsley earhardt was in florida to investigate. she will tell us what she saw. and bob beckel has some words of warning for all of these young spring breakers and their parents. >> this is not a funny issue. >> and the very latest on the malaysia airline mystery, will this plane ever be found? "hannity" starts right here, right now. and welcome to "hannity," and this is a fox news alert. today is the obamacare deadline. and now with less than two hours and counting until the clock strikes midnight we turn to fox's own wendell goler. >> sean, it does seem as if obamacare is limping over a some kind of finish line with website problems that reminded people of the problems the website had when it was rolled out last fall. the folks here predict more than 6 million people will enroll,
7:02 pm
more than they thought a month ago, although less than the original goal of 7 million. but they can't say how many will pay their premiums or the mix of people there will be. >> people want to know the answers to that. they also want to know is once all of this is said and done what kind of insurance will those people actually have? will they be able to keep the doctor they want, how much more will it cost them. >> barrasso suggests they're cooking the books, jay carney says if they wanted to do that they would have done it in november when the numbers were really bad. they suggest that anybody who wants to enroll but can't by midnight, can get an extension, they blamed a computer glitch that left the website down hours after the scheduled maintenance time. and a last minute rush of people trying to enroll took the site down this afternoon. carney accused the republicans of essentially sweating the
7:03 pm
small stuff and missing the importance of the achievement. >> all this is about is providing benefits to the american people. it is really not about the mid-term cycle or you know, what a critic in the senate, or the house says, it is about what we say it is. it is about delivering the affordable care act promise. >> still, critics say if they can't get the small stuff right, that doesn't bode well for the larger stuff. >> and the website went down twice today, they said that would not happen. we just heard jay carney talk about this is a promise, you know, delivering a promise. well, is it really delivering a promise? let's take a look at the "hannity" big board tonight. didn't the president say if you like your plan you can keep your
7:04 pm
plan, listen to him in his own words. >> if you like your plan you can keep your health care plan. and if you do have health insurance we'll help to make sure your insurance is more affordable and more secure. if you like your health care plan you can keep your health care plan. >> if you like your health care plan you will be able to keep your health care plan. period. >> oh, if you like your plan you can keep your health care plan, period, well, there is over 7 million people as of this moment and every day, week, month, more people are getting the cancellation letter. we go back to the "hannity" big boards, you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor, that is another broken promise that carney didn't mention. a lot of people losing their doctors they love. >> under the reform we're proposing if you like your doctor you can keep your doctor. >> under the reforms we seek if you like your doctor you can keep your doctor. >> no matter how we reform health care we will keep this promise. to the american people. if you like your doctor you will
7:05 pm
be able to keep your doctor, period. >> okay, they said they were delivering on promises, that is what jay carney said, you can't keep your plan or doctor, and the president repeatedly promised the average family would say money each year. that is not coming true. do you remember the promise, the promise the president made on this? >> we estimate we can cut the average family's premium by about $2500 per year. >> it is time to bring down the typical family premium by $2500. and it is time to bring down the costs for the entire country. so you're going to have a clear conference, john mccain's bush light health care plan or a plan that lowers premiums by $2500. >> all right, so you can't keep your plan, you can't keep your doctor and you're not saving $2500 per family per year. now let's go back to the big
7:06 pm
board. we have of course 37 major delays and fixes, many would argue whether or not it is constitutional. remember, the whole idea of the tipping point was brought up by jonathan turley, now, we also spent, the years 2014, could you imagine $677 million to build the website, and then they had three and a half years to build it. all that money, the years 2014, and they still can't give us the number how many people they claim signed up actually even paid for their health care. in other words, how many people are there? i contended this is a ponzi scheme, and they expect the young, the healthy to pay the premiums to pay for the sick, the elderly and the uninsured. we have 6 million, they say plans cancel. those are the people that were promised they were able to keep their plan. and other problems we have the cbo says at the end of all of this remember part of obamacare,
7:07 pm
the whole purpose of this was that every american who wanted insurance would have insurance. well, that turned out not to be true. the cbo said there would still be 31 million americans uninsured. all right, let's go through the problems, starting at the very basic, jay carney talking about delivering the broken promises, karl rove, how big a political liability will this be in. >> it will be a big one, i can't think of a single promise or pledge made about the affordable care act that has been kept by this administration. you talked about a bunch of them. but there are a lot more. nobody who makes less than $250,000 a year will pay more in taxes, we'll have universal coverage which you alluded to. your premiums are going to go down. your deductibles are up, in addition to premiums being up, deductibles are up. there is not a single promise turning out to be accurate. it will add an enormous amount
7:08 pm
of money to the deficit. so people look at the administration and hear jay carney say the idiotic things like he said today and they think he is disconnected from reality. we run across it every single day. today i was in dallas with small business people who are up in arms about the affordable care act. you know, everywhere i go somebody comes up to me in an airport or shopping mall or on the street and says let me tell you my obamacare horror story about how my premiums are higher, my deductible is higher, i can't see my doctor. >> hey, karl, let's look at how it will impact the 2014 races, most people out there in the political world would argue there are three specific states starting in west virginia. south dakota, montana, where it is believed the democrats have kind of almost pulled out and given up on those three seats. your analysis of those three. >> look, those are three democratic seats where the
7:09 pm
incumbent has pulled the rip cord, there are states that romney carried by double digits, the democrats said i'm not going to go through another tough race. the republicans have excellent candidates in all three, leading in the polls. they have big cash advantages. the republicans are likely to take those as long as they don't give up or take it for granted or as long as they keep working hard. >> all right, let's look at four states where conventional wisdom tells us we have a great chance of winning, in the great state of alaska, arkansas, mark pryor, mary landrieu. >> and in all four, they're going to be tougher than the other three we just talked about. they're still red states. they range from north carolina where it was a two-point victory all the way up to arkansas where it was a 20-something odd point victory for mitt romney.
7:10 pm
the democrats will be tough in these states. we have very high quality candidates, two primaries to go in australia and north carolina. and then we have this weird election structure in north carolina where all the republican and democratic candidates run on one ballot in november, and if nobody gets 50% they go on a runoff. that is likely to be settled in december. the republicans are poised to take three or four of these two races. >> there are three states, blue states where you believe it is very competitive. for example if we go for colorado, one of them michigan, and of course new hampshire up here. we have these three, and other wish lists, including minnesota, where al franken is up for re-election, iowa, virginia, purple state indeed there. and what do you think the odds are those could change hats? >> the first three are states where we know who will win, in
7:11 pm
michigan, in new hampshire, corey gardner in colorado, they're all competitive races, one poll showing scott brown slightly behind, another showing him slightly ahead. the only poll in colorado showing corey gardner two points behind. got in the race less than ten days ago. i think these races are going to be very competitive. in 2010, republicans took seats in the house, four were in blue states, states that barack obama carried in 28. wisconsin, illinois, indiana and pennsylvania, two states were in red states that obama had lost. north dakota and arkansas. republicans had good opportunities. the other four states you talked about all depend on the outcome of the republican convention or primary. they're good candidates in each one of these states, the primaries are some months off, all the way into august in one instance. it depends who comes through that process. some or all of those four could come into play depending on who wins the convention or primary.
