>> i'll hire people to watch my kids. >> thank you. >> give yourselves a big hand thanks for joining us we hope you have a great night. blp the o'reilly factor is on. tonight. >> i believe in creationism, i didn't believe it's the right place to be taught in the public school. >> secularists have succeeded in wiping out much religious history in the american public school system. tonight we will tell you how that effects this country he was prescribed a number of drugs to address those including ambien. >> that drug is taken by millions of people and stress relieving drugs is flooding the country in the week of another fort hood shooting we have a special report.
8:01 pm
party rock. >> are you ready for this for a price nfl cheerleaders will come to your seat during the game. good grief! >> shake that. caution, you are about to enter the no spin zone. the factor begins right now. hi, i'm bill o'reilly. thanks for watching us tonight. why america is changing so dramatically. that is the subject of this evening's talking points memo everywhere i go folks ask me, what has happened to their country? and it's true. that america is not the way it used to be. we have gone from a traditional country to a secular society where politically correct thought dominates at least in the mass media.
8:02 pm
>> creators fair country where the public school system would promote freedom. would teach history, government and civic behavior so that americans would be better able govern themselves what the founders did not want is the government intruding on people's lives. that's quite clear in the constitution. no religion is to be imposed on on any american that's because in europe bloody wars were fought all the time over religion. thousands of people fled to the new world to escape the oppression. however, it was quite clear that the founders base the justice system in the new world on judeo-christian tenets. that's why a sculpture of moses holding the 10 commandments adorenzo the supreme court building in washington. today you could never put old moses and the commandments up on a government wall anywhere the secular pro-progressives would scream. you are imposing religion if you do that do not believe
8:03 pm
in the 10 commandments. enter jesus the most famous human being who has ever lived. if you are a child attending an american public school and living in a secular home. chances are you know little or nothing about jesus because the schools are even frightened, frightened to mention his name. at bridgeport high school in west virginia. they had a picture of jesus hanging on the wall. there he is. for more years. 2006, the aclu and americans united both fanatical secular groups demanded that picture be removed there was a big lawsuit and jesus lost. he is out of there talking points pointed out many times there is a big difference between philosophy and religion as i make quite clear in my book killing jesus, the nazarene was a philosopher on this earth. some believed he was the messiah, others did not. but his message of
8:04 pm
brotherhood was philosophic. and quite the opposite of the romans who controlled the world. thus, jesus was executed for going up against the established authority. don't you think american kids should know that? should know the philosophy behind our justice system? but, no. secular progressives have wiped that out. that's why i wrote the last days of jesus for the kids. so they could find out some important information about the man jesus. now, here is a bigger picture for the country. when you have a secular progressive society as opposed to a traditional one. behavior changes. fewer judgments are made. more lenient criminal sentences handed out. abortion becomes more acceptable. drug use and sale becomes more acceptable marriage changes and so does the conduct of children because they pick up what the adults are doing. with a progressive president
8:05 pm
alleged a very left leaning party these days you have a progression of secularism. weaker. less discipline, less generosity because the secular religion preaches it's all about me. there is no greater good or greater power the next time you ask me where your country went i will tell to you read this talking points memo. now for the top story reaction. laura ingraham i know you agree with me on this. you take things a bit further, right? >> i think one thing i was thinking about as i was listening to you in the talking points memo. you are right, of course, there is a new dogma, especially in our public schools. but it's kind of the secular humanist dog matchett it's just as dogmatic as i would say evangelical call traditional cath leaks and their viewpoints. they view maybe global

warming and redefining marriage, those are new dogmas. and most of the educrats as i like to call them have that predominant world view. not so much about the teachers but the educational establishment. however, when you think about what they are doing and you have talked brilliantly about this in the past. what they are doing in our textbooks to historical events other than the religious aspects. but a lot of bias in those textbooks. i'm now thinking gosh, bill, unless they are going it use maybe your book and a few other books that you and i would think are accurate. i wouldn't want a lot of these people to teach a christian history because invariably a lot of biases against christianity or against traditional understanding would probably make their way into that teaching. >> that's interesting. >> we are kind of between a rock and hard place here. >> that's interesting. you couldn't trust many of the teachers in the classroom to accurately interpret, they would scon sen trait on the
8:07 pm
inquisition. they would concentrate on all of the things that have -- the bad things about organized christianity you have the same things going on with the founding fathers. you can't tell me they had noble intent when they okayed slavery. >> of course. >> you can't tell me that a traditional america was better when minority citizens weren't treated the same. and those are valid points. but the underlying strength of the nation was a judeo-christian justice system there is a right and wrong we expect to you do the right, correct and lawful thing and that if you do not. if do you not do that you are going to be punished. that comes right out of the judeo-christian. that's going. you have got restorative justice. child molester, and one year in prison. they feel sorry for the cocaine and heroin dealers. we have got to put them out.
8:08 pm
somebody wanted to buy it not their fault they are selling poison and on and on and on. >> you can't pass judgment. >> no. >> no judgment and i think that's where -- that's the where it gets tricky when you talk about religious history. you are going to have to talk about the religious text, i think, right? >> i don't know if you would have to do that i didn't touch on that at all in killing jesus. there is enough history surrounding the nazarene that you basically can present it, look here is what happened to him in judeo. >> they are not going to do it it. >> they are going to band it they banned it. by taking that picture down in the west virginia high school the picture didn't say if better believe tore you are going to get an f. >> because jesus in the minds of the secular humanist is about old fashioned judgment. and they don't want to be
8:09 pm
judged. they don't want anyone passing judgment on whether it's lifestyle or choices, personal choices. even though christianity is we are all sinners, we are all flawed. we are all fallen and christ the savior redeemed us for our sins. that is an anathema to many most humanists i should say. secularists love redemption. >> if you are a secular. >> liberal secular americans cannot draw the distinction between philosophy and religion. they won't do it because it's too convenient for them to condemn all of it under the umbrella of religion. i will give you the last word. >> yeah. bill, i think the more you see these attacks on christian understanding or even religious understanding and history. the more you are going to see religious people retreat from public life. i think you are going to see more of that. >> laura, rundown, the liberals react to the jesus dilemma matchett later fort hood killings. drugs are involved. the factor is coming right
