strong head winds. >> i am sanda smith. edge is begin to the republicans. 37 percent would prefer republicans in charge. and chris host of power play. typically democrats have a edge. and when republicans ran the poll. it is typically republicans who don't fare as well. but when they do, that is portending better at the voting both. >> democrats have rocks in their jaws bad. and so they are hitting hot button issues.
10:02 am
here's what we know. any given republican votes more frequently than the temdems. the republicans are more reliable voters and when you get to the election. if you get a good climate for the republicans, largely because of obama care and other issues. that is meaning that it is better to advantage. but the republicans have to be tied in order to win in november. it is a pig change from the democrats. that is a swing in four months. what changed? >> the president managed to get a reset on obama care and said hang with me longer. but the more and more people interact with this law.
10:03 am
they are liking it less. not only the website but how the law works and people are not happy about the condition of the economy and difficulties on foreign policy. the democrat brand is in retreat and nothing that suggest that is going to change. >> you have democrats in the senate and that is where all of the actions. and now a suggestion that the vulnerability democrats are getting more air time. what does that mean? >> it is true. and there is two approaches, one that the president likes from nancy pelosi. there is nothing wrong with obama care that can't be fixed and we like it and running on the line and now talk about women's pay and equality. team obama likes that one. harry reid has a different plan and his is going to let

10:05 am
and not surprisingly calling for more spending and paul ryan calls for 5 trillion less over a ten year period. and he hopes to balance the republicans. all they need is 217 of those republicans to vote for the budget and they have got. it the only cave at. some tea party republicans don't like the budget. it calls for maintaining all of the taxes for obama care for him to meet that budget resolution in step years of a balanced budget. a lot of tea party republicans don't want to defend obama taxes. >> and so the fiscal conservatives can cause a problem because they don't see the budget going far enough? >> it is possible. but republicans realize how
10:06 am
critical the midterm elections are in november. if they pass it is ryan budget. and the senate will not agree with. it but if they win the senate in november. what is going to have happen is a sea change. then the president would be forced to veto all of the bills and budgets coming to him from the combined republican senate and house and the democrats would be the presidential of no. republicans are the party are no they say. but if the president is mr. veto president. and that label could be applied to the democrats. there is one thing sandra, that could blow up the budget process. i don't like to use pie chart. >> you are looking at the way it is divided up. you are looking at mandatory and discretion. and interest payments.
