that idea put forward by the administration that this was a result of the cincinnati irs field office. the e-mails appear to show lois lerner was communicating with counterparts from the department of justice about this idea of going after political groups. here is one of the e-mails dated may 2013 by the judicial watch. doj is feeling like it needs to respond. talking to the irs to see if there are impediments from our side and whether it will do any damage to the irs programs. this was part of an ongoing discussion over whether tax exempt groups would be criminally prosecuted if caught lying about political activity. this is the latest complication for learner herself. the congressional committee already voted to hold her in contempt of congress for her role in alleged targeting of
