i spoke with cliven bundy. he told people don't wear camouflage. leave your firearms at home. these individuals did not come out with fully automatic weapons. look at blm. these were grandmother, kids here and ranch hands here is the contract in optics you had 200 agents, helicopters that showed up. you contrast with a number of cowboys on horse back, unarmed with american flag waving in the wind as they bowed and said a prayer before they set met and rounded up the cattle and took them back out to pasture for harry reid to do this, it's reckless. he's trying to incite people. i get the message he's unhappy with a peaceful resolution and outcome. very to question why he's using this, what i call violent rhetoric. >> it's interesting. you raise a good point he was so silent. and now, it's over if he, i

would say, stoking the fires. the father is out there saying domestic terrorists. these are live pictures on the left of the bundy ranch tonight. they're holding this rally tonight. speaking to his point. he raises an issue that does cut against the behavior of the protestors which is their plan according to a sheriff, who was there, and as it was admitted on fox news to put women and children on the front lines of the showdown. he said if feds goring to shoot they're going to shoot women first. that will make feds look bad. to hairy ried's defense that is what has him upset in part about the tactics used. one remark made an idiotic remark. shame on that guy for saying it. it did a disservice to everyone standing out there. now they gave ground to slander the rest of the bundy family. cliven bundy called for peace.

wondering how does mr. reid know whether cliven bundy pays taxes or not. the author of 2016 book and joining us from the bundy ranch in nevada. good to see you. we don't know how mr. reid knows that or why he is now so very focused on going after mr. bundy. your thoughts? >> reporter: well, it's a very peculiar situation where you have a cattle man, a rancher and he's being taken on directly from the senator and senate majority leader who is commenting not only about him not paying taxes but in some sense accusing supporters and i'm right among them here today of being domestic terrorists. so the real question i think megyn, i came here as a film maker to see what is going on. we basically see an american clash almost like in the old western movies between the loan rancher on one side and i would

say the dubious or corrupt politician on the other and the question is, who is the real crook? who is fanning the flames. terrorism is when you target innocent civilians and when you call people domestic terrorists, you're almost saying they should be targeted and killed. i think this is irresponsible of harry reid and the people are angry about it. >> i understand they have a statement they are making particularly with respect to mr. reid. what is it? >> reporter: well, a whole bunch of people here have name tags and even little kids have them saying domestic terrorists. when you look at an all american kid with a domestic terrorist sign, you see what is really going on here. i think this is not really about whether mr. bundy paid taxes or not, this is really about the rule of law and whether this administration is enforcing it

trapped would have escaped almost immediately. if you watched when the vessel was rolling over, the portholes were blowing water as much as 20 to 30 foot straight up. that would have happened as soon as you cut a hole in the top of the hull, air would be forced out and water would replace it and go down quickly. >> what conditions are the divers facing? >> diving there is difficult. the conditions have been very rough. they are running three to five-foot seas. the visibility is as little as three to four feet, but they also have a current and that current when you say moving water, they are saying the water is moving between two to four knots, that's 200 to 400 foot per unit. the human can't swim against that. top-graded navy seals would be forced like flags along the sides. >> what are the odds of any survivors in 55 degree water temperature? >> there are no survivors. the hull was not designed, the

joe, good to see you. let's start with the allegations against representative cummings who is on the house oversight committeeme committee. the suggestion is he was focused on true the vote down in texas and got looked at and the fbi and federal agencies, and that he asked the irs for publicly available information about true the vote, and at the same time, the irs was targeting them, the lawyer for true the vote smells a rat, and believes that the two were cooperating. was there anything wrong with mr. cummings seeking publicly available information? >> i don't think so. the key was he was asking all the documents and e-mails show he asked repeatedly or a few times for publicly available information and only publicly available information, and the other thing that's interesting

about this is that the irs was investigating true the vote way before comings ever asked for public information and only the public. he doesn't ask them where their investigation was or to investigate the group. he just said can you -- he asked, i think, if the tax returns were public information, could he get a copy or something -- >> now that important because he was accused by the lawyer for true the vote, by putting true the vote on the irs' radar screen and denied that and they said his denial spoke to more. in any event, it's important he put them on the i rrrs' radar screen. with the information, joe, what the try the vote says typically when that is done, when the house minority would seek documents like that from the irs, they would let the majority know about it and claim this was done without such communication,
