6:02 am
so central time, so little bit before 9:00 eastern. the sun is starting to go down at that point, dark, cloudy, windy, and it is very difficult to see any funnel clouds. we have a lot of folks without power. this is the edge of a neighborhood. you can see the front of that home just obliterated. we will continue to walk this way. people without power, a powerline snapped in half, 17,000 people around arkansas without power this morning. what can 135 plus mile-per-hour wind do? they can topple an 18 wheeler. these are the wheels, it is on its side. a tap piece of scrap metal. those 18 wheelers are tilted to the side. that is what these types of wind can do. of course the headline out of here this morning, 16 people in the state of arkansas alone are

dead. some officials fear that number could go higher as the sun is now up as they're going door to door trying to still search for people who are unaccounted for. bill: what do you have from there? reporter: about another 20 miles, 21 miles to the northeast of us, that community took a direct hit as well. some of the fatalities are up in that community. that community had a very bad tornado that went through there a few years ago. some of the folks who went through that particular storm a couple of years ago said it was just all too common, the feelings of the warnings coming last night, hunkering down in storm shelters. those people dealing with what we see here, a lot of damage, lots of destruction and
