medicare versus the under 65 enrollments. they are not used to using insurance and may not know where to go or where to use it for? >> are you seeing that as well. basic insurance. are you seeing the trends and what does spending look like now and in to the future? >> we are zeroing in here on an important trend and that is transparency and i think we know everyone in the health care system will be more transparent going forward. manufacturers will have a higher burden and clearer how their products are better than the competitor talk about exchanges. frankly we have empowered consumers through the exchanges and put them in the driver's seat, insurance carriers will have to provide information as they hop and prepare for the

plans and consumers can make more educated decisions. >> michael, it is not easy to read. it is difficult. on the consumer side, are you seeing that insurance companies are getting more transparent and making it clear to the customer what they have available to them? >> it is a huge educational component. you are right. it is another language. they are hearing the terms for the first time. and what elizabeth is pointing out. rising deductibles and increased choice and existence of technology and ability to shop once a year and pick a new plan. they are leading consumers to the burden of making health care choices. and while we haven't yet seen it from the providers. why does my mri cost this much?

answer the requests. elizabeth this is from chris. why it is so difficult to know the true numbers when it come tots new health care law. this is what they do a lot. where is the biggest challenge so far? >> we are getting from a bunch of different sources. i think the most important thing for folks on viewing at home to remember. we'll get new enrollment numbers this week and they will be the number of folks who picked a plan and notes inially the people who paid the first month's premium and have coverage. that is important to keep in mind. and what we will see, the debate turned from enrollment to retention and more focus on whether or not people are invested in the now health shrnts coverage and continuing to premiums over time.

>> michael you work with consumers and trying to get them signed up for new health care, what you are seeing on the ground, does it so many like people are paying up front and getting involved and enrolling and making payments or is there an enrollment period where they are not committed to the plan they have chosen? >> there is a lot of desire on the consumer's end. the only number that matters to the consumer is one. it is themselves and their family. do they have coverage and is it affordable and do they understand what is in their plan? we are seeing a lot of insurance. and payment is not a issue initially. but what it looks like over time. will they make the pams month by month. >> michael, are you working through the websites and looking

at different paths to get people signed up for insurance? >> we are contracted with the federal government to plug directly in healthcare.gov. and so they are enrolling. and it is interesting to see consumer demand whether in a state or federal exchange it is really high. consumers looking at their own needs and trying to find the least path of resistance. >> and elizabeth, there is a lot of talk about what to do next. would it be where the law would be repealed or reformed. >> if there is drastic changes in washington d.c., and the law is repealed or changed. what does that do to the health care market? >> it is important for all of us to come to a common understanding that the affordable act is here to stay. and we take a step back and
