5:13 pm
not good news for the president. in addition, judicial watch got a white house memo through the freedom of information act that confirms the worse fears about benghazi. the memo written by the communications guy ben rhodes was sent three days after the 9/11 attack that killed ambassador chris stevens and three other americans. the memo woe was written to prep ambassador susan rice on what to say to the media the instructions are these, quote: the goal to underscore that these protests are rooted in an internet video and not a broader failure or policy. by the way bebb rhodes is now a deputy white house security advisor. there is no longer any doubt that the white house was pushing this spontaneous uprising theory and playing down the organized terror angle. no longer any doubt they did it president obama should have told the nation the truth. but he did not. that's one of the reasons

5:15 pm

5:26 pm
book. there have been decades of problems for women entering the senior echelons of corporations but there is something that women can do something about, that's exactly why we wanted to write the book, that's their own confidence and that's such a critical factor for women in getting ahead because there is a big confidence gap between men and women but it is something that we can address. one of the few things, perhaps, that each individual woman can address immediately that we can take control of that we can can improve. >> is it your belief that women have less confidence than men? why why that be so? women are smarter than men. better looking than men. do better in school than men, they graduate more than men. so why and they are nicer than men generally speaking. why would they have a confidence. >> teenage daughter, aren't you, bill? >> i actually believe every word of that i mean, i think women are the superior

gender. why would they have a lack of confidence? >> it's staggering, isn't it? actually, if you look at the numbers, the data is there and this book is very much driven by data from niewrgses, psychologists, business schools, corporation cans. women, for example, will only apply for a promotion if they have 100% of the skills necessary for the job. men are happy to apply for that promotion if they have 60%. >> all right. have you got the data. what's the why behind it? don'th confidence? part of it is that women take criticism very personally. >> that's a good point. >> it's called roomating. we make one tiny mistake and we're still thinking about it the next day and the next day and the next day and we need to draw a line on it because it's such a confidence killer. we're less prone to taking risks than men are now maybe too much is a bad thing. it's not so much to do with sensitivity. it's this particular issue of dwelling on our smallest mistakes and dwelling on criticism and not letting it go that is so detective
