the cops tried to round up the cow and finally the cow was taken into custody and back to his home. that's tonight's speed read. go to gretawire.com. the o'reilly factor is on tonight. >> we're made up of military and law enforcement and going to do everything we can to assist them in recovering these young women. >> the u.s. steps in to help track down hundreds of girls held captive by muslim extremists in nigeria. four americans were killed in benghazi and they have not been brought to justice. is the best of u.s. resources? we'll have analysis. >> some choose not to be satisfied and choose to not move forward. i do not believe there is any reason for it to continue in this way. >> hillary clinton says there's
5:01 pm
no need for any more benghazi hearings. is she worried about what might be uncovered? we'll debate it tonight. you guys think it's just a rouse? >> there are other ways. >> watters picks up nudity week and gets down to its bare essentials. >> women feeling bad about their weight. >> you don't need to do that. >> caution, you are about to enter the spin zone and the factor begins right now. hi, everyone. i'm laura ingraham in for bill o'reilly. thanks for watching tonight. hillary clinton in nigeria. that is the talking point memo. it was 3 1/2 weeks ago when more than 300 nigerian girls were
5:02 pm
kidnapped from the group boko haram. politicians and celebrities began speaking out about the need to help rescue them. last night, hillary clinton was asked about the situation. >> the seizure of these young women by this radical extremist group, boko haram, is aboninable and an act of terrorism. >> well, that's a change. the state department under hillary clinton fought hard against placing boko haram on its official list of foreign terrorist organizations. that decision may have hurt our ability to confront this terror outfit which has been brutalizing christians for years. this past february, the group burned 59 young boys to death in northeastern nigeria. no loud calls to intervene then.
5:03 pm
>> should the u.s. and other countries, for that matter, do more to secure that they are returned safely to their families? >> absolutely, robin. and, you know, for me this is a perfect storm of all the issues that our of concerning matters to those of us who follow women and girls around the world and, in particular, what is happening in north africa. >> also, members of congress, such as sheila jackson lee, are pushing for swift action and justice for the perpetrators. >> we are anguished as mothers, grandmothers, and lovers of children that this is what the children, the girls in nigeria are worth. and so our first command and demand is to use all resources
5:04 pm
to bring the terrorists to justice. >> strong words indeed but where was that justice for those who flaun tered american citizens in benghazi? have they ever demanded that we use all resources to get to the bottom of what happened that night? we don't have one person in custody for those murders. the fbi did not even arrive at the benghazi compound for three weeks after the attack. justice should be brought to boko haram. we as a nation should be just as outraged, just as united regardless of political party and our demand for answers, accountability, and justice for the american victims in benghazi. and that's the memo. now on the top story tonight, should the u.s. get involved in nigeria? with me here in washington is katherine, the managing editor of reva magazine.
5:05 pm
these are heart breaking stories. one after the other, katherine, from africa, i mean, the bishop who has been doing amazing work in the mountains in sudan. i mean, he's bringing to light the fact that, look, two days ago, three days ago there was a catholic hospital blown up in that region. horrific stuff happening. kids found wandering in the desert. can america do more? this is a terrirrible story. >> it is a terrible story but one thing that i think is quite weird about the political moment we're having around the story right now is the pretense that it's somehow special and it isn't. these kinds of things happen all the time and the u.s. cannot police every time something bad happens around the world, nor should we try. >> michael, the u.s. getting involved in syria, ukraine, the
5:06 pm
polls one after the other, it shows that america is pulling back. the american people don't feel like we've gotten a lot for all of the money that we've spent overseas and they want to reignite entrepreneurs at home. our heart goes out to all of these victims of terrorism but is it the public appetite to lose one american life there for the story? >> the question is whether we can address these girls without losing one american life and ultimately i oppose putting boots on the ground in nigeria. but if we have the intelligence assets to find these girls from the drones, that could be an issue. this is like the attack in that it could really reverse the jihadism and attractiveness about jihadism. people are horrified about this. it doesn't happen every day. >> i've been following this persecution of christians in the middle east and in africa for
5:07 pm
years. i mean, i mentioned the bishop who has done amazing work, as have many others. i think maybe not this many girls taken, of course, and i have a daughter about this age and it's anguish to think about it. but we have boys burned. we have boys beheaded. just a few months ago. and 58 boys were burned alive. i didn't hear anyone -- no hashtag for them. no celebrity outreach for what are we going to do? but this story, is it because it's girls? is it because it became celebritified? they do things like this a lot. >> they do it a lot. >> as do other islamic organizations. they did it in benghazi. >> but when people here at home say these innocent girls have been taken, as a mother, i worry about these girls, it actually
5:08 pm
is the same era on a very, very tiny scale that somehow it's different because it's women and it shouldn't be when boys are horribly killed and forced to go off to wars they don't want to fight. that's bad, too. i think it's part of a political kind of war on women game that -- >> so you're saying hillary clinton came in and some democrats perhaps because of the girls' angle and international women day? >> i assume she just screwed up before and now she's trying to deal with the screwup. at the same time, they are talking about the girl angle. >> she said it. it's the perfect storm. women and young girls, initiatives, outreach, something like that. michael, what about hillary's refusal to label this organization as a terrorism organization? i think you and i have been talking about this group along with not using that word islamic
5:09 pm
terrorism. they did not want to say it during the bush administration in the last few years and they want to call this, what, violent extremism? >> manmade disasters as well. >> right. >> this is a unifying factor here. hillary clinton, every time she got that phone call, rather than recognize the threat of terrorism for what it was, decided that she wanted to politically spin this. she didn't want to recognize boko haram as a terrorist group because she was afraid of the diplomatic consequences. it's about time and unless the lesson she needs to learn is when a terrorist commits terrorism, they should be punished accordingly. >> remember, she used the phrase terrorist attack i think on september 21st, long after the state department e-mail responsible for this attack. we remember that happened as well. mike, are you worried about setting a precedent here,
5:10 pm
though? if the united states does get involved and, look, i think there's a lot of outpouring for doing something intelligence-wise. does that set a precedent? what happens when a village is firebombed in sedan as we had a few days ago? what happens when we have other children wandering the desert who are half naked? do we get involved then, too? >> i don't think we need to. i see american international interest because we can reverse the momentum that boko haram has been establishing at the same time if we deal a blow to boko haram by allowing them to be rescued, that would stabilize nigeria. we don't want to simply hold our hands and go home because you see what happens. >> michael, katherine, thank you. we're asking, should the u.s. help nigeria rescue these

philips sonicare in the impact segment tonight, hillary clinton trying to put benghazi behind her. during a q & a session last night in new york, the former secretary of state was asked about the newest investigation. >> benghazi, the investigation, are you satisfied with the answers and are you content with what you know what happened? >> absolutely. i mean, of course there are a lot of reasons why, despite all of the hearings, all of the information that's been provided, some choose not to be satisfied and choose to continue
5:15 pm
to move forward. that's their choice and i do not believe there is any reason for it to continue in this way but they get to call the shots in the congress. >> so does hillary actually fear what congress might find as it digs deeper in search of answers? joining us now with reaction is richard goodstein, a democratic strategist and former adviser to hillary clinton's 2008 presidential campaign. okay, richard, so watching this last night when she said "absolutely, absolutely satisfied, nothing else to learn about benghazi," do you -- is there nothing else to learn, richard? >> well, certainly she didn't look like she's concerned, right, by looking at her. >> i don't care what she looked like. i care about what she said. >> here's why i feel like she can say that with confidence. there have been 13 hearings, 25,000 documents -- >> i asked you a question. is there anything else to learn? >> she was under oath. rand paul, a possible opponent of hers had her under oath in
