i am heather childers. thanks for joining us. >> i am ainsley earhardt. it is one minute to the top of the hour. play time taking a terrifying turn with when an inflatable bouncy house gets tossed into the air by strong winds with three children inside of it. two young boys are waking up in the hospital with very serious injuries. kelly wright is following the story for us and he has the latest. >> those two kids are still in the hospital scary moments for them as well as their parents as they watched an inflatable bouncy house taking flight. what you are can lolooking at r now is a bounce house flying in the air as if it were a kite with children inside. >> something like that you see in a horror film. >> moments before this horrific scene taking place a bouncy house had been steaked in stake the front yard of a home as two

boys and a girl played inside. it swept the bounce house high into the air carrying it over trees and woods before dropping on a two-story schoolhouse. the 10-year-old girl escaping before it took flight. the two boys 5 and 6 were trapped inside as the house flew into the air. they are in the hospital with injuries. one suffering two broken arms the other a serious head injury after falling on to a car. >> he hit the car i heard him hit the ground and i heard screaming every where. >> bounce houses have blown away causing injuries to children. the latest scare from little tykes. >> makes me want to squeeze my kids. >> the consumer product safety

administration says thousands of children each year are injured because of the inflatable houses. little tykes says they are lacking into what happened. our thoughts and prayers are with the children and their family. ainsley and heather. >> that is really unbelievable. i can't image being one of those parents. >> at least 200 people are dead and hundreds more trapped after an explosion at a coal line in western turkey. rescuers have been working through the night trying to reach 700 miners still buried under ground. more than 700 workers were inside the mine when an explosion sparked a fire. turkish officials say carbon monoxide poisoning claimed many of the lives lost. >> a major health scare in florida. 22 workers in an orlando hospital have been ordered to stay home for two weeks following exposure to a patient infected with mers.

the 44-year-old man sat around the emergency room for hours before being admitted to the hospital. he reportedly developed symptoms of mers mid flight from saudi arabia to london. this is the second confirmed case in the u.s. of the deadly virus. happening right now a wildfire in northern san diego still burning, but people are allowed to go back to their homes. 20,000 homes received evacuation orders yesterday. but those were lifted last night. the fire now five percent contained. the homes threatened are no longer in danger apparently. firefighters managed to keep the flames from causing any damage to homes and businesses. >> new fallout over deadly wait times at another va hospital. spreading now to south texas. elizabeth prann has more. >> the chairman of the house

veteran affairs representative jeff miller wrote a letter to president obama this week. he says there needs to be an independent commission to investigate whether patients are dying because of botched care by the department of veterans affairs. this after new concerns about shady practices adding to the scrutiny of hospitals across the country. one official told a number of media outlets the hospital in texas provided life saving tests late and intentionally tests such as colonoscopies. another whistle p blower at san antonio clinic said he and others were told to manipulate scheduling data so it appeared there were no wait times. miller as well as others are outraged. what i am very concerned about now is the flood gates are open. we are not going to have an office of inspector general that has the capability to do what needs to be done. it appears to be systemic much more widespread than what we

originally thought. >> the department of veterans affairs are investigating at hospitals in texas as part of a nationwide audit. one state senator called for that investigation as we hear the department of justice does say they are looking into it but they are not planning to investigate. attorney general eric holder said in part, quote, obviously we will monitor the results of that inquiry and try to get to the bottom of what happened. he did not rule out the possibility of department of justice involvement as we see there is no time line yet. >> elizabeth prann live for us from washington. thank you, liz dearth. >> -- elizabeth. >> john kerry will not testify on benghazi next week like planned. the state department said it hopes the panel will find a more appropriate witness. meanwhile former witnesses of the obama administration they say the investigation is legitimate despite democrats attempts to discredit it.

caskase kasem, she is making a plea to her step mother asking her to give their father back. she saw her dad on may 6th. the trouble with her step mom is not anything new. it was clear at a young age she didn't want us around. there were things she did we didn't understand why. for instance, we would all be in a room together my father would walk out when my father walked back in he would say we did something to her. my personal opinion, it this is just my opinion, i think she needs some help. i feel like not only does my father need help for his condition, she needs help, because we don't understand what's going on. we have told her time and time again, if it's about the money take the money, take the house. we won't contest the will. we won't contest anything. take it all. have it all. give us our dad back.
