able to transmit to those who want to see and hear a pattern of how to live and conduct ourselves. >> doug, i would argue when ahmadinejad or mullahs in iran talk about wanting israel's off the map that would be a modern day evil. >> i don't see them as the devil i believe what we need to do is view within our culture and values and political discourse a sense that we can be as good a people as the bible says there are. >> there is an aspect of that that is sort of being lost. the problem with millennials in terms of their faith there are not so many people with organized religion througere's loringer portion of them who don't want to have any opinion on religion. i would rather more atheist who thought this through instead of disease and foundation of others who think they have no opinion that devalues the whole issue of faith it shoves it to the side

their version of miley cyrus. i think of madonna. she was different than miley cyrus. >> go back to the 50's and 60s what was the top problem? we did a series on spring break. >> running on the hall chewing gum talking in class what is it today, pregnancy, alcohol, drug use and suicide. >> what's the biggest problem is now we have a new we need to drug all of our children. we are drugging all of our use. we wonder why we have this massive decline. you take god out and take out the moral house they have nowhere to go when they have a moral conflict. they don't even know what truth is any more and we are drugging them on top of it. >> loren, go ahead. >> looking -- (talking over one another)

>> allison, go ahead. remind us you are younger than everyone else. >> there are of course young millennials but there is a large demographic also leading what they did not like to find what they did like in religion. there's something to be said about this generation that is raised being told you can do whatever you want there's no right and wrong whatever and then see the consequential depression the pain that comes from feeling like there may not be right and wrong and my life isn't worth anything. you need to speak to both and talk about why they are leaving organized religion. >> what is happening in american culture is lack of personal responsibility. in terms of children instead of teaching them how to handle their emotions and problems take this pill. a teen gets regulpregnant get a abortion. parents aren't kids like they used to in the 40's and 50's. that's what paul harvey said.

>> i think it is a personal responsibility but i think also we look at the definition of things the consequences of actions. the anti bullying movement everyone hates bullying but you look at the no tolerance policy that punish everyone rather than the person at fault it creates a culture everyone feeling like they did something wrong but no one is held accountable for the actions they are taking. that happens in our schools and also happens with our parents. a lot of people don't have two parents in their home. that's a big shift we have seen from the 50's and 60s as well. leaving kids at home after school to do what they want to and having no consequences for their actions. >> but if i can address your comment that every generation has a madonna. certainly the celebration of deck dance has been long in american culture. what i sees that it gets younger and younger. we are sexualizing little girls at younger and younger ages. which is part of why what's happening with miley cyrus is so
