administration is not shared by many who served with him. veterans and soldiers calling him a deserter who once said he was quote a shame to even be american. we have that past o story. >> while they are happy he is free there are other americans among them service members who have questions about whether or not bergdahl is a hero or deserter. the questions stem from the circumstances surrounding his capture in 2009. several reports say that bergdahl at that time had grown disillusioned with american's mission in afghanistan that he was ashamed to be american and sympathized with the afghan people and was possibly deserting the army when he walked away from his unit without a weapon. >> the really difficult part about this deal is we traded five war hardened terrorists
