house lay law maker ares wait for a closed door briefing on the prisoner exchange of sfrj bowe bergdahl. >> the classified briefing set to begin hours from now and coming after a senate meeting with law makers. we have mike emmanuel on capitol hill. but first, national security correspondent jennifer griffin and has more on bergdahl's time in captivity. what can you tell us? >> reporter: bergdahl is in phase two of a phase three reintegration process. that could be five days or three weeks. he chose not to speak with parents and family. that is still true as of today. u.s. defense officials say that bergdahl did not have life threatening diseases and focusing on his psychological health.

all of this ducks the one big question asked of any modern president's foreign policy: what, exactly do you stand for? what, when you've left the building will the united states represent? you have more clarity today? >> i don't think so. it is a good reflection of the main points. so we have bowe bergdahl release, one sergeant released for five senior taliban commanders whether from president obama or susan rice or john kerry saying it was a humanitarian gesture to get one fellow out. no one believes it. no one, from diane feinstein on down it was one guy. there had to be something else going on.

similarly with hillary clinton and benghazi. she is having a hard time making the world believe it is what she said it was. the obama foreign policy lacks clarity. and no clear idea of what they are trying to achieve. >> the president talked about foreign policies before. they are more interested in hitting singles and doubles than a homerun. and so when you look at that and what the president said about taking each swaying step-by-step as he is explaining, doesn't it fit? he so manies to say there is a middle way with people in favor of the war or doing nothing. but the problem with obama's foreign policy, singles and doubles never seem to reach its goal. john kerry spent the past year flying to israel to broker a deal between the israelis and palestinians nothing came of it.

a big scare for an arkansas community after an artillery shell from a military base lands in somebody's backyard. the homeowner left with a large hole in his wall. others had several trees on their property, literally split in half. thankfully nobody was hurt. a spokesperson for the national guard says the artillery shell was fired during a live fire exercise. the spokesperson apologized, said they were working to make sure nothing like that happens again. neighbors not too happy but they say they still support our military. >> that's good. the big picture, i guess. >> little understanding goes a long way. as if there wasn't enough pressure on a bride and groom right before their wedding, one couple in oregon had to deal with a wildfire quickly closing in on the ranch where they were getting married. firefighters arrived minutes before the ceremony and told everyone to get out. the couple though, instead, got permission from the firefighters
